PLEASE HELPI have dry and peeling lips 24/7 mainly along my lip lines where lips meet. I wake up in the morning with white slimy gunk all on my inner lips and mouth then a hour later the dry sensation starts again! After talking a lot or being out for a while I get gunky white stuff on lip line again! I have tried every single lip balm on the market with no results, have tried using Vaseline, cerave healing ointment, aquaphor, lanolin you name it but nothing works at all! I’m having to apply something to my lips all day long to stop them from feeling tight dry and irritated. I have also changed toothpaste to no SLS, changed shampoos to no sls but nothing I try seems to make any difference whatsoever! Have been to derms for swabs but all come back negative and all the advice they give is use Vaseline!! If anyone has any idea what I can do or any advice I would really really appreciate it!

I was obsessed with these years ago!! They all contained menthol and they left an oily moisturized finish.

I have been trying to find something similar for years now and the closest one I have found is the Dr. Bronner's Peppermint lip balm.

I'm looking for something super minty, but not waxy!

Works really well for me and stays on through the night. Yummy scents (a little disappointed by matcha because it just smells like sweet tapioca pearls, not so much matcha tea). I appreciate the huge amount of product but wish they had more minis available. 🥲

I love these so much!! Same formula as the OGs. The menthol is fantastic especially for summer. I only wish there was a mint flavor because I’m not the biggest fan of the super sweet fruit scents in this lineup.

Perfect formula for me, stays on for hours. Thick but not too sticky. The color is sheer but that’s nice if you’re like me and not precise with the application. Good scents.

Vaseline Lip Therapy

Great formula for a non-glossy balm. I just use at home because of the application. Rosy lips is alright but I do NOT like the grapefruit, it’s not citrusy at all imo. ☹️

Laneige Lip Glowy Balm

On the thinner side, but a good one to apply in a pinch. Stays on for an hour or two. I like the packaging and the slightly smaller tube. The pear scent is really good!

Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm

These are quite thin and slippy on me. I like the scents, especially the sweet mint. They don’t last more than an hour and I don’t like the slippery texture. But these were the first ones I got that made me go down the lip balm rabbit hole!!

On my wishlist are Marin (for the scents) and Eadem (for the exfoliation & metal applicator) after I get through some of these! Open to recs and opinions 🙂‍↕️

I am running low on my Sugar Cookie lip mask, so i went to target the other night to buy a replacement. I get home and opened it up and noticed that something felt off about this new one. I put my old one and new one side by side, and THEY ARE DIFFERENT. the new packaging is smaller and the cap is so much bigger. yet it still claims to have the same amount of product.

The top on is my old one that i am running out of, the bottom one is the new one.

Same product, same amount of product, just different packaging… what’s going on here LOL

Has anyone tried this? If not do you have recommendations for some dark, cool tone, and/or balms or glosses of unique shades (not including ph “color changing”)? I really want to start building up my collection of lippies for every day use that have uncommon tints/shades. Super bonus points if it’s minty or tingly but that’s just for fun, I love lippies like that :P

Hi there! I have been using Maybelline lifter gloss for years! Like ever since it came out. I LOVE it. I am a tried and true fan. It works wonders. Then….a month ago I am doing my usual makeup shopping and get very excited when I see “NEW” Maybelline Lifter Plump Maxi-Lip Chili Pepper. I have always loved limp plumper of any kind. Like even the crazy, hardcore ones that sting like crazy. Sign. Me. Up.

Unfortunately, not this one. This one has absolutely destroyed my upper lip. It has continuously gotten worse. I have used coconut oil, lavender oil, Vaseline, olive oil, aquaphor, and now Neosporin. I have attached photos for reference and to see if anyone else has had the same experience. If anyone has, please feel free to reach out. This has been awful and has only gotten worse, nothing is helping me so far! Ughhh no
