i love jade so much, but i've been feeling a bit bummed about her lately. like, i'm thrilled she's having this huge solo moment, but it feels like work is always coming first these days.

it's just sad seeing her miss massive things for the girls—like missing perrie's wedding and leigh's twins' birthday just for some random festival gig. i get that the industry is super demanding, but these are her best friends of over a decade, and it's hard not to feel a bit let down seeing her not show up for them.

and tbh, looking at her recent breakup with jordan, the pieces kind of fit together. word going around is that they split because she just couldn't slow down or put the career on pause to actually settle down and build a family with him. if people are right about that, it feels like she kind of chose her ambition over making the relationship work, which is just super unfortunate.

she's incredible and i want her to win, but i really hope she doesn't end up isolating herself from the people who actually matter in the long run. like with the band's 15th anniversary coming up soon, i just hope she remembers where she came from.

I was looking through my old cd collection as I've recently started listening to music with my cd player again, and I came across this. I was a huuuuge mixer as a kid, and I probably got this cd around the time it came out, but I genuinely forgot about getting a signed cd. I definitely didn't even pay that much for it since I was maybe like 9 or 10 years old at the time. I vaguely remember getting it from a then-popular website that sold cds, vinyls, movies etc but I'm not a 100% certain. Does anyone know whether they sent some signed cds to record shops when Dna came out?? Otherwise I have no idea how this could be real?? Should I frame this??? 😭😭

edit: Gave it a bit more thought, and I came to the conclusion that I must have gotten it before summer 2013 because I definitely had it in my possession in the fall of 2013, and I'm fairly positive I got it from cdon.com, which I'm pretty sure didn't sell second hand stuff on their site back then (now it's complete trash for sure. but I'm not sure about the timeline of when it went to shit). But still I'm not convinced this is real, I'll only believe it if someone knows they actually sent signed cds to stores!!

On a new patreon exclusive video she shared she’s been filming a project in Jamaica. She’s staying in Kingston and recently visited her grandparent to shot content with him. She also said it’s been long full days of shooting for this project and even hinted at her filming for more days prior to arriving in Jamaica.

It makes me wonder if this is for something to do with the METMT era (aka FREE) or if this is connected to another era or some sort of documentary/series she’s involved in now.

Either way, it’s nice to see she’s back in Jamaica after two years and sharing more of her process as an active artist who’s pregnant.
