Do you guys think little simz will ever top or release a project as good as Sometimes I might be introvert?
Simz is on a generational run from grey area to lotus. SIMBI is considered her best project and she almost topped it with NO THANK YOU in 2022. Im convinced her amazing album run will continue but what do y’all think? Will she ever release a project that could rival SIMBI?
New Simz collab with Chase & Status? 👀
H/T u/yes12345678901BB for this one.
Chase & Status posted an IG story from a recent show with a song snippet featuring Little Simz. There’s some speculation that they’re dropping a new album this year, but nothing has been confirmed.
I’ll keep an eye out for this one.
Chase and Status Collab?
On the chase and status Instagram story for their section 63 live show there’s a clip that sounds a lot like new simz. Anyone know?

Is “Game On” the first collab Simz has with an American female rapper?
I went through her discography going back to XY.Zed (2013). “Game On” with JT is the only collab I saw with an American female rapper. That can’t be right, can it? I know she has something with Rico Nasty that’s unreleased. That’s from some years ago though, maybe around the GREY Area era.
That blows my mind considering two of her biggest influences are Lauryn Hill—who she opened for in 2016—and Missy. She’s also a huge fan of Gangsta Boo who’s from my hometown Memphis. 🙂
I’m actually surprised she hasn’t done anything with Rapsody or Tierra Whack or Che Noir. Hopefully, a Doechii collab gives us another one.
How is this possible? Am I missing something?
The new EP is not bad at all
I feel like ppl don't like the ep because she's doing something that many of her fans aren't used to seeing her do
Thoughts on sugar girl
I personally dislike the project, I think the effect on her voice sounds really bad. I love little simz music, but this is really bad :(
Sugar girl EP Review
It’s currently 7am and I have school later. I woke up at like 5:30 and couldn’t fall asleep so I was like “yk what? Let’s listen to sugar girl”.
Track by track review:
That’s a no no: No complaints from this song. Great melodic rap performance from simz. Her flow on the second half of the song is CRAZYY 🔥🔥.
Game on: The lead single of the EP. In all honesty, I wasn’t a big fan of simz’s repetitive lines but JT SNAPPED on the song. She was rapping like rent is due.
Open arms: IMO, my least favourite track (that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s bad, it’s just when you compare it to all the others it’s easily the one with the least quality. I am trying to be as open minded as possible). Both simz’s and deela’s verses were great and had no flaws whatsoever. My least favourite part was the drum pattern. I know it sounds crazy but it just doesn’t appeal to me.
Telephone: my favourite track on the album, hands down. I LOVE Melodic rap, and in this song it’s executed perfectly. Even better than That’s A No No. And when accompanied by 070 shake’s vocals, it becomes a heavenly listening experience. 10/10
Overall rating: im feeling a light to decent 8 on this.
Edit: I wrote this at 7am lying in my bed and I feel like I was being a little bit too positive. I still think it’s good, but def not a decent 8. It’s more like a strong 7
