Simple Welding Job

Anybody got any recs on who can do a very small/simple welding job? Wouldn’t be more than 30 minutes, tops Edit: Need to take ~12” out of a powdercoated steel bar.. I’ve reached out a few companies but most of them have minimum charge/job durations that would not be cost effective. Appreciate any recommendations!

JeffCo Notice of Valuation for 2026 property taxes

Has anyone else not gotten their notice from Jeffco about their property tax rate for 2026 (payable 2027)? The protest window closes June 8th and the notice usually goes out May 1st but I haven't gotten mine yet. I checked online and it still says TBD and no notice available. There's nothing on the website saying the notices were delayed.

Just wondering if anyone else knows whats going on?

AMLI Littleton Village

Hi everyone! 😊 My husband and I are relocating from another state with a newborn baby and we’re considering AMLI Littleton Village. Unfortunately we can’t visit in person before making a decision.

If anyone currently lives there (or nearby), I would really appreciate an honest opinion. How does daily life actually feel there?

A few things that are especially important to us:
• families and babies/strollers around
• safety and overall atmosphere
• any smells (dog areas, smoke, marijuana, etc.)
• noise level
• good places to walk with a baby
• anything you wish you knew before moving in

I’d really love the honest version — not just the website version 😅 Thank you so much!

Littleton housing authority seeks $1M for Starlight project amid funding gap

Starlight Apartments in Littleton will house people making between 30% and 70% of the Area Median Income and will include 72 units in four stories — 11 studio apartments, 46 one-bedroom units and 15 two-bedroom units.
The housing authority is asking for $1 million from the city's inclusionary housing ordinance (IHO) to fund the gap of rising construction costs.

Melody Creek Apartments?

Hello. I am moving to Denver and am looking at apartments in Littleton and Inglewood. I saw melody creek apartments in Littleton. It seems ok and is in my budget. Does anyone familiar with the area (near slaughterhouse gulch park) or the apartment complex itself have any useful information. I'm unfamiliar with the area so any tips would be really helpful. Thank you!!

Egg/dog water smell

Ever since moving into an apartment here, certain times of the year my water will come out smelling like dog water or eggs. Is this common? I’ve had two leases at two different apartments here and they both have had the same issue. When I lived at my parents house here I never experienced this. It makes all my dishes smell terrible after I wash them and it’s driving me crazy. Is there a solution? I’ve heard it’s common in dry climates but I never experienced this while in a house.

Savannah Bananas Fans 🍌

Hey everyone! I'm so in love with the Savannah Bananas, but I can't make it to the Coors field, Denver games anymore 😭

I’ve got 5 tickets for August 14 & 15. I’m down to sell them all together or split them up into groups of 2 or 3.

If you’re looking to go, shoot me a message and let's work something out. First person to grab them gets 'em!

What happened to Capitol Pizza?

Been eating here since they opened and it’s always been great. This year they have flubbed three orders now and didn’t respond to my feedback (missing pizza on one order and they didn’t reply, and tonight a burnt pie). They were solid. Such a bummer. Anyone know what’s up?

Heads up. Lucille's in Littleton is closed effective immediately.

Just went to Lucille's in Littleton to hopefully get some breakfast from that location for the last time. However, when I got there, a guy is sitting outside handing out things with their Evans address on it saying they were unable to open today. He said something about shortly after the announcement something happened with their lease and they're closed effective immediately. Huge bummer. Wanted those lemon poppyseed pancakes one last time

Littleton BAZAAR is happening now

Hey there! We’re the events company that runs Denver BAZAAR and TheBigWonderful. Kicked off our third annual Littleton event today on S Nevada (between Main and Powers) and wanted to extend an invite + some community tools in case anyone who lives in that area has issues with attendees.

People left trash around? Music a little too loud? Shoot us a text: (720) 445-6381

Something more serious? Please, contact the relevant city department! We’re not deputized (yet).

The market runs from 11-5 today and tomorrow, tons of Colorado businesses and food trucks, a decently priced bar ($7 craft cans from DBC/Stem Ciders are the highlight), and, if nothing else, it’s a good excuse to get off the phone and walk around a little. Or have a cool conversation with the people who made the stuff you’re holding.

Details are on Eventbrite (https://www.eventbrite.com/e/1984155230707?aff=oddtdtcreator) but I’m around all weekend to answer questions, too! Hope to see ya out this weekend.

With gas prices climbing in the metro area, is there something that would nudge you to consider bike to work/transit as a realistic option for commuting?

What are these lights in the sky?

I’m in downtown Littleton facing west and there are these flashing lights of different colors in the sky. Anyone know what’s going on? Is there some light show tonight?

Spanish Learning Language Clubs?

Does anyone know if there are any Spanish or Other Language Learning Clubs/Meetups in Littleton or Roxborough areas? I used to be a part of one run through my local library. I'm looking for a community to engage in coversation and lessons, rather than a tutor.

Leaving Denver tomorrow and not sure how to dispose off mattress. My apartment community does not allow dumping large items in trash.

I don't want to spend $$ for dumping a mattress that I am already losing $$$ on. Any idea??

Tire Deals

What places have the best tire deals for a regular front wheel drive car? I used to visit a small mechanic shop that only did tires and brakes in the south, but now notice my tread getting thin. I need a new shop. I'm in Littleton but am willing to drive for a good deal.

Arapahoe County launches short-term rental licensing program

Arapahoe County’s new short-term rental ordinance is officially moving forward, and it’s going to change things for Airbnb hosts in unincorporated areas. The new program includes a $200 application fee, a $350 annual fee, a 500-foot separation rule, and a requirement that most hosts live in the property as their primary residence unless they qualify for a legacy exemption, among other requirements.
The county says the goal is to cut down on parking issues, noise, and clustering of rentals in the same neighborhood. But some residents and hosts think the rules go too far, especially the spacing requirement and the quick-response local agent rule.
