Just got these two cuties, Calico is already peeling sealed in her box, so I don’t feel ready to unbox her just yet. But Dee K is so freaking cute I love her!! She is so underrated.
Should I completely peel and repaint calicos dress? Or should I paint the little spot that is peeling and try to seal the whole thing with mod podge? Or should I sew her a new one from cotton? decisions decisions…..
I just restored Rain today. After being a little dissapointed when she arrived yesterday with her hair im really suprised how well she turned out. Things got settled with the seller ina friendly and fair manner. And indeed as a lot of people suspected its most likely hair breakage due to age and combing.
Its kinda sad to see how much hair she’s lost but i guess it adds to her fallen angel aesthetic.

I finally got rain for a decent price but now that i have her i found out her hair has been cut. The seller disnt mention anything and as you can imagine it was heavily tangled and matted. (the photos are after it being brushed out)
I’ve reached oit to the seller in hopes i can get some form of refund or atleast something. I’m used to restoring dolls and i really love doing it but cut hair is just something i cant restore. And spending money on getting new hair to reroot kind of defeats the purpose of finally finding her at a good price.

Em dezembro do ano passado eu conheci as LDDs e me apaixonei por algumas, comecei a fazer uma lista e só escolhi as mais “fofas” e “normais digamos assim haha mas o tempo foi passando e pesquisando mais sobre elas eu tenho me apaixonado pelas estranhas e assustadoras. A Lilith é um exemplo disso, eu odiava o molde com a boca aberta e agora ela é simplesmente uma das minhas favoritas. Percebi também que não é só comigo que isso acontece haha vejo o pessoal descobrindo essas bonecas e amando as mais “comuns” ou relançamentos. Being apart of this subreddit is my first time actually interacting with other collectors (or even other living dead doll fans in general!!(yall are all super cool)) and I was wondering are you a primarily in box or out of box collector? Me personally, Open all the way ! And one other (possibly silly) question, what are your guy's thoughts on out of box collectors buying sealed dolls and opening them?
got my first living dead dolls recently!! ive been a casual observer for a while but i got what i think is a pretty good deal on these (24 cad each) and i jumped on it! ive always loved posey in particular, so glad i can add her to my collection
Does anyone know what size or clothes they can wear? I have a carry bag on the way for Damien and wanted to get him a few different clothes to wear but don't know what size LDDs are unfortunately
I love them but i felt weird about them at first because i see the characters as children or teenagers but i guess the FV are their adult versions? Not really sure, but i would love if they continued this line (most likely not gonna happen)

As a lot of us are aware, there are a *lot* of Living Dead Dolls out there, but no one place seems to have them all listed out; which is pretty frustrating when you want to keep track of what you have or what there is for you to collect, right? That's why, with the amazing help of u/Paris-Texas24 and u/TeatimeTangents, we've been developing a Masterlist of all the LDDs that have been released (and even ones that went unreleased or we're pulled!!👀)
It's still a work in progress, and i dont necessarily have a release date yet but I wanted to give you guys some sneak peek shots to drum up some excitement for something to look forward to!
It's set to also have things like original MSRPs, limited quantity facts, links to references, and even columns for yall to keep track of your own collections! It'll be free to copy once released and I cant wait for you all to have access to the finished project!!

Ive seen that some people like this doll and find it to be a memorial, and others don’t and find it disrespectful. but I’ve never seen it discussed in here even when i looked. id like to know everyone else’s opinion on this controversial doll i think shes quite pretty, but the fact she is based off of the worst moments of Elizabeths life, even having her wounds, doesn’t sit quite right with me. Id like to see your guys perspectives as i have never seen it be a topic on here.
