Weird lag in league of legends with good fps and ms.

Hello, i cant literally play league of legends due to this strang lag and i cant find the fix to it.
I tried diff PCs, i changed my internet provider, other monitors, windows settings, bios settings and nothing seems to fix it.
This lag makes my keyboard feels like it has some type of "glue" to it. Sometimes i have to press the key like 3 times to actually pop off the skill. also it has 0.5 sec delay making the game unplayable. My autos are drunk too.
My champ does weird animations and its like im playing at 300MS.
I actually dont know what to do anymore but i cant literally play. im griefing my teams due to this perma.
Here are some clips of weird animations:

Vanguard error: Van 84

I can't access the game today because of this message of error. I tried the following which I found from other Reddit posts and online. None of that made a change. Everything is updated. I have no idea what I can do
Check Vanguard/vgc Service: Ensure the Vanguard service ("vgc") is running and set to automatic; starting it fixed the issue for multiple users. "Win + R, use services.msc ... Look for 'vgc' ... change it to
'automatic.
• Run Riot/Vanguard As Admin: Running vgtray and the Riot client as administrator (and allowing firewall bypass)
• Disable IPv6 / Use IPv4 DNS:
• Restart After Network Changes

Has i always been that bad?

Is it me or is league recently declined in the quality both in connection and client?
From disconnects, vanguard errors, crashes and trouble connecting to the game to all the other minor glitches both in client to in game ones. Every new patch adds new issues while fixing none. Is this multimilion dolar ccompany really not able to properly fix the game that is obviously by itself compared to current games a very light game that should run smoothy on almost any pc. Am i just wrong? Is there some reason the game aint fixable or are they just cheap?

Banned for third-party programs despite never using any – has anyone else experienced this?

Hi everyone,
I’m hoping someone here has experienced something similar or has some advice.
A little while ago, my League of Legends account was permanently banned for allegedly using third-party programs. The problem is that I’ve genuinely never used any cheats, scripts, bots, overlays that modify gameplay, or any other third-party software to gain an advantage.
I submitted a support ticket to Riot explaining this, but they upheld the ban.
Riot has also closed the case.
It won’t be up for review any further through normal support.
I’m honestly at a loss because I’ve put a lot of time and money into this account, and I have no idea what could have triggered the detection.
Has anyone else been falsely flagged for third-party programs? If so:
● Were you ever able to get your account back?
● Did Riot eventually acknowledge it was a false positive?
● Is there anything else I can do now that my ticket has been closed?
I’m not here to argue with anyone or make excuses—I just genuinely want to understand what happened and whether anyone has been in the same situation.
Any advice or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

LOL borderless unplayable

When playing in borderless mode, after alt+tab and switching back to the game, the fps drops to a maximum of 60 and the game freezes as if it were running at 10 fps. Is there any way to fix this? Playing in full screen is annoying when you have to wait a few seconds with alt+tab.

League hard freezing, lagging and high ping

Hi everyone,

I’ve been battling severe issues with League for about 3/4 of a year now. Before last autumn, the game ran perfectly. Then, it started hard freezing my entire laptop, forcing a manual hard restart. It started once a week, but by November, it was happening almost every game, making League completely unplayable.

Here is everything I have experienced, tested, and discovered so far:

  • Clean Windows Reinstall: Completely wiped and reinstalled Windows via a bootable USB. It helped for a brief moment, but the freezes returned.
  • RAM Upgrade (16GB to 32GB DDR4 3200MHz): I noticed my RAM usage was idle at 60-70% just with Discord open. After completely uninstalling Vanguard/League, idle RAM dropped to a healthy 40% (Loving the fact that Windows 11 takes 2GB of RAM). Upgrading to 32GB fixed the crashes for about 2 weeks, but now they are back.
  • BIOS Update: Updated to the latest available BIOS version for my laptop.
  • I also updated the drivers, added league to firewall exceptions according to that support copypaste they like to send people.
  • Low specs on league

The Technical Symptoms (From Event Viewer & Logs):

  1. Vanguard Kernel Memory Leak: During loading screens or mid-game, Vanguard completely floods the RAM, causing the vgm.exe process to crash with code 0xc0000409
  2. The GPU Disappearing: After a recent hard freeze, my dedicated NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti completely disappeared from the system. NVIDIA Control Panel threw an error saying "An NVIDIA graphics card was not detected", and it vanished from Device Manager. Even when the GPU is normally detected and working, the game still crashes. I found the exact crash log in Event Viewer: the faulting application is vgm.exe crashing with Exception code: 0xc0000005 (Access Violation), pointing to nvd3dumx.dll_unloaded as the faulting module.
  3. Recent Network Issues: On top of the micro-stutters (1-3 second screen freezes) and hard locks, my ping suddenly permanently spiked from a stable 14 ms to 35 ms since last week. Nothing changed on my network, no downloads are running.

My Specs:

  • Laptop: Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3 (15ACH6)
  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800H
  • GPU: Integrated AMD Radeon + Dedicated NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti Laptop GPU
  • RAM: 32GB DDR4 SO-DIMM 3200MHz
  • OS: Windows 11 (fully updated)

I would greatly appreciate any help or tricks that could fix these issues.
Happy LP gains everyone!!

League not launching, constantly asked me to repair files and launch game, still wouldnt open on or off hdd.

league has had SO many problems, i just wanted to try it on this pc, but it wouldnt launch no matter what, upon the uninstall and restart of my pc it somehow slowed everything down and kicked me off my wifi. it has the option to install both client and game to another drive which is what i did so id actually be able to use it and have space, but if i can even get past the installing phase it wont even take me into the league client ????

Banned for throwing?

I just got banned in League of legends, my 3rd time for "throwing". in less than 2 months. First ban, I gave up, left my keyboard, and went to get food, came back to a day ban. flash back to 2 weeks ago, I got frustrated, went to the bathroom for 3 minutes probably, came back to a ban, like they ff'd while i was dead and respawned and sat in base for a minute or two. Now, I just got a 3-day ban. I will link my OP.GG here because i have no idea what i did wrong, genuinely. I played Karthus jungle and I tried ganking but failed and all 3/3 lanes lost. I tried jungling then got killed by a super fed aphelios, kennen, and Naafiri, I tried farming side lanes, then died and got spam pinged by teammates. I then sat in base with my ezreal, and soraka farming until theyt just ultimately ended the game. Next thing i know i got a ban? I literally never let go of my house or keyboard? Can someone please explain to me what I could have done to avoid this? I understand the first 2 as leaving the game, but I played this entire game and got a 3 day ban???

Got demoted and lost honor over loading screen crashes.

This has happened twice in three games and I wanna break my monitor. So I’ll be loading into a game after champ select and then the loading screen will just freeze or not appear at all. Only way to quit out of it is to hard restart the entire computer. That obviously takes too long so boom remake vote, and I get penalized. Now I’m stuck demoted, with a 5 min low prio queue timer, and honor 2 over a glitch on riot’s side. I’ve filed so many bug reports and support tickets and get no response or AI responses. I’m on Windows 10. It’s gotten so much worse after this last patch. What the freak is happening and how do I fix this?

Riot's "Account Recovery" tool is the stupidest fucking system I've ever seen, and you're all at risk of having your accounts stolen because of it.

https://recovery.riotgames.com/en

Feel free to look through this form yourself.

All someone needs to automatically "recover" your account, which will bypass 2FA and allow them to change the email associated with the account, is your date of birth and the email that was used when you registered the account. If they want to be extra careful, they can use a residential proxy or VPN from your state/country.

I verified this with a friend of mine. I just completely "recovered" and stole her account.

Riot does not allow you to opt in or out of this. Without your consent, your email address and date of birth are by default equivalent to passwords. You are expected to protect these pieces of information as if they are sacred, when anyone can be social-engineered out of these pieces of information in a matter of minutes.

Worse is that there are public dumps filled with people's data from websites that were hacked, which is no fault of the user at all, where your birthdate and email are readily available. If someone cross-checks your email via Riot and finds out it exists, they can just plug in your birthdate and hijack your account.

Riot has allowed this to happen to my account twice now. Their support will tell you that you have "malware" and gaslight you into complete frustration. The hijacker deleted my friends list, spanning back to Season 2, spent $500 worth of RP I had, and used all my crafting mats, which I had been saving up for seasons.

There is absolutely nothing you can do to get through to Riot's shitty staff through their ticketing system to protect you from this. You will get robotic, automated answers, and you will never speak to a real human.

Edit: If you take anything away from this post, other than that Riot is run by morons, it's that you should associate your Riot account with an email that you do not use anywhere else online, and you should probably even set your birthdate to a date that isn't accurate but is noted somewhere securely online for you to remember. Also, if you have anyone you hate, feel free to social-engineer their email and birthdate out of them in a casual Discord conversation.

Every time I try to get on League, the client takes longer to load and I can't access anything.

https://preview.redd.it/gilt4kgik49h1.png?width=1595&format=png&auto=webp&s=a20325b0d5cd5bc7a353f64d66d38fb1b7f71fc2

I can't see my friends list, I can't access the shop or the crafting/mythic shop tab, the play button is greyed out, and when I click the collection tab, nothing pops up. I tried going to the Riot Support website to see if I had any active penalties on my account that just aren't popping up here but there was nothing. And when I logged into my EUW account, everything seemed fine and worked normally.

FPS degrading while being in a match

My friend has a problem where after joining a game either practice tool or a normal ranked game the fps starts with 100 to 150 and when exactly 10 minutes pass it drops to 30-40 fps. Either fast forward in practice tool or normal ranked game time. It needs to be mentioned that every other game works fine without any problem except league.

Specs are :

CPU : Ryzen 5 3600

GPU : RX 6650 XT

RAM : 16GB

In the video you can see the start of a test game in practice tools but i cant attach the pic showing 30 fps after exactly 10 min have passed, so im thinking that rules out any cpu overheating problems since the test has been concluded by fast forwarding 10 minutes in practice tool and not actually having the game run for 10 minutes please correct me of im wrong.

a friend just got banned and they gave no reason

Hi, yesterday we were playing league til 5:00 and then we went to sleep, today we tried playing, but her account was not loading, at first we thought it was just a bug from the client, you know how that works, but after several hours trying diferent things, she checked in the web in the penalizations tab, and there it was, a permanent ban, she doesnt even got any soft ban other than chat restrictions in valorant, but in league she never recieve any ban, we send a ticket already obviously, but im trying to know if someone knows anything about this or if someone also got this type of ban

league update causes game to crash as soon as the loading screen pops up

so here's my problem that started around 2 days ago after updating the game

after champ select and waiting a moment for the game to open up, the loading screen crashes in less than a second just barely showing a flicker of the loading screen before immediately disappearing and then client starts saying "reconnect"

I have tried everything from core memory isolation being either on or off, repairing game files, updating windows, updating the graphic card drivers (I have 1660ti mobile), no overlay from any program even Nvidia app has overlay turned off, even constantly clicking "reconnect" in hopes that it works, also restarting my device and trying to have league as the only thing I try to open up and play didn't work

weird thing that happened tho is that while I open up the practice tool to check if the bug is fixed or not as I troubleshoot, I had 2 instances where the game worked when I clicked to display my mastery by clicking on the image of my champ during that split second when the loading screen flickers, however it is completely not consistent and I wish I knew why those 2 instances worked while the hundred other instances didn't work

I cannot really gamble with redownloading the whole game because my internet plan is not unlimited and I have my family using the internet so I don't wanna use up all the internet for the sake of troubleshooting the game

League of Legend loading screen crashes during streams

Hello! Fairly new streamer here - I stream on Twitch through OBS.

I've been experiencing a lot of crashes during League loading screen on stream.
I would say this has been happening more and more recently, sometimes 2+ times in a single stream.

When this happens, I can't open my task manager either.. I can see it running on my task bar but the frozen League loading screen up sort of "ignores" the window for the task manager. Every time this comes up, I have to force my PC to restart, of course interrupting the stream.

Here's a few things that I've tried:

- Disabling "hardware-accelerated GPU scaling" in windows settings
- Turning on low spec mode on League
- disabling Discord overlay

Is there anyone who experienced something similar? And how did you go about it?

Thank you so much!

Am I actually perma banned?

Could't log in since I was getting the <unknown player> bug. Found out right now I am perma banned?. I am still kinda confused, they didn't send and email nor it appeared on my client. I only had some minor chat bans at the past less than 5 and not more than 7 days each. I never had a ban where i couldn't play league. I am legit shocked right now since it was my 6 year old main account. Already sent a ticket for them to review the penalty. Has anyone experienced this?
