His best era is 2016-2019. His peak commercially. 3 number 1 albums in 2 years. Selling out arenas and headlining festivals. On the radio. Multi platinum and Grammy nominations. He can never recreate that. I know he doesn’t care, but I loved that era. Especially 2018. Bobby Tarantino II is absolutely heat and I saw him in 2018 in Toronto and it was an amazing concert. He was also swole and healthy, richer than he had ever been at that point in time. He was on one. Very popular. What are your guys thoughts

It's so annoying seeing people call conscious or intellectual rap burger music. Yes, I get it that some rappers including Dax, Tom McDonald, and 2Slimey do deserve to be called burger music, but then you got people saying that Talib Kweli is corny. People also don't like when it's not about sex, violence, drugs, ect. Let's take Lupe Fiasco for example, he says straight dope bars and people act like he made the worst sh*t ever. In my opinion, Maga rap and new rage is the real burger music.

One song that does not get talked about or brought up enough, is Run It... because I personally think that was one of Logic's best Rap performances ever. He was snapping off on every verse.

I also heard a theory that each verse was him rapping in the style of one of his influences. Like the first verse was Kendrick/Drake inspired, the second verse was J Cole inspired, and the 3rd verse, which ended with him sayin "take a step back, cuz I run it", was all him... that is a DOPE ass concept if it's true.

One big thing I'll never understand or agree with is Logic's thought process when it comes to picking songs to release... like, he will give us snippets of songs that we will DELIBERATELY tell him sounds good, like Intrusive Thoughts/Cancel Culture, Say Less (OG Lightyear), Good Enough, Kill It, Open Ya Mind or Open Ya Mental (from While You Wait), and he'll decide to scrap it or just never release it. Then he'll put random songs that sound like shit, like Bleed, High Life, or My Way on the album in its place... Him choosing to put shit like High Life and a bunch of skits on College Park when the tracklist should have been reserved for songs like The Basement and Intrusive Thoughts will NEVER sit well with me.

Is it THAT CRAZY of a take, to say that if 2017-2019 never existed, Logic would still be heavily respected and liked as a hip hop artist today?

Listening through vinyl days atm. I know his focus isn’t music at the moment, but vinyl days is in constant rotation and hearing some of the beats on the skits just shows this is fun and games for him (6ix)

Just thought I’d post to hear opinions, as the stuff he released with the movie was unfinished etc.

Just always puzzled how you hear all the beats that are never rapped on when they’re so good and you get other tracks that kinda leave you puzzled as to why 😂

Is anyone else in here still waiting for their movie to ship out? The wife and I are big fans and pre-ordered the signed Japanese version of the movie and have not heard a word about it. We are about to move to a new state and want to change the shipping address, and we can’t even find a customer service number or email. If anyone has that info, please share. Besides that though, who else is still waiting for their movie? We’re avoiding watching the film until we receive our copy
