Looking for tips/recommendations for 12 days in Lombok

Flying from Bali into Lombok airport soon. Current rough plan:
• 2 nights on Gili Air
• 4 nights in Sembalun (with a Rinjani trek in between)
• 6 nights in Kuta Lombok
Any better itinerary suggestions, or tips for these areas (transport, where to stay, what not to miss, etc.)? Thanks😊😊🤗

Mount Rinjani

Hey:) someone done one of these tours and can recommend one? They are both 1 night and to the top.

And did you still book your accommodation for more days during the hike to leave your stuff there?

Looking for recommendations in Lombok🇮🇩

Hi everyone!

My family and I will be visiting Lombok for a week in October. We want to visit the *Gili Islands, Kuta Mandalika and some of the beautiful beaches and nature around Lombok*, but we're not sure which area would be the best base for our stay. Where would you recommend staying, and are there any areas or hotels/villas that you particularly liked?

Renting a scooter without a licence

Hey everyone, I am wondering what the chances are for getting pulled over driving in Kuta/the countryside?

I have a lot of experience driving scooters in other countries China/Aus but I don’t have my international driving permit.

Thankyou!

Mt. Rinjani trek full…

Tried to book a summit trip with Green Rinjani but they were full for the rest of August.

Where should we book the hike then?
Preferably someone with decent gear and food, doesn’t have to be private.

Thanks/

Day hikesin lombok ( northern area)

Hello!

I (26F) am currently travelling with my family who prefer a relaxation holiday over an adventure holiday. I was not planning on large hikes until I part ways with my family for two weeks of backpacking, but the lombok landscape looks so amazing i can't resist. As my family are not keen on joining me, here i am asking whether there are any FLINTA* people (also fine with groups, as long as they are not all male) here until the 19th that would have me join on a hike. I am open for anything, i would say i am an intermediate hiker with lots of experience in the tyrolean alps.

Thank you :]

Best snorkeling spots

Hey everybody!

I'm coming to Lombok in October with some friends!

Can some of you point me the best snorkeling spots of the island?
Ideally remote, we prefer it as wild as possible (still talking about snorkeling yes).

Looking forward to visit this beautiful island!
