I lost it, I almost wish I didn’t.
28F.
I have lost close to 100 pounds since September 2024. I am so proud of myself and I truly do feel so much better. My energy, stamina, mental clarity, the ability to wear what I want (sometimes/kinda).
I know it was 100% worth it for my long term health. However, I am to the point where I am so incredibly distressed because of what I look like.
I feel just as trapped in my body as I did prior to loosing the weight. I have saggy boobs, a puckered and saggy stomach, bingo wings, crepey skin everywhere. My face has changed. I look aged.
I can make myself appear “normal” with clothes and styling but I haven’t dated seriously at all since gaining and loosing the weight.
I want an intimacy, I want to feel confident in my body, I want to wear a swimsuit, most of all I want to stop thinking about my body so damn much.
I am starting to save up for surgery but it’s going to take years, I am so sad that I am spending the last years of my 20s feeling this way about myself.
If anyone has any tips on loose skin, body positivity I am literally laying in bed sobbing like I do 2-4 nights a week because of how claustrophobic it feels to be in this body. I am desperate for any help.
Thank you.
Who cares about scars when you finally feel like you fit in your skin
After 2 skin removal surgeries, I can say that I finally feel like I fit in my body! This was the best decision I could have ever made for myself! 360TT w/fdl and muscle repair. 2nd pic is 7 days PO
How much of this is loose skin and how much is still fat?
Lost 85lbs since last November. Knew I would have loose skin but unsure what to think of it. How much is still fat etc, and how much I might expect to recede over the next year or 2. I’m 35M. I’m fine with loose skin. Can’t lose this much weight and not have it just curious what to expect
Does this look like loose skin or a mix of loose skin and belly fat?
I’m 6 months postpartum and I’m struggling to feel confident in my own body, I know it’s only early but I don’t know what exercises I can do which will help my core if what’s too much for it
For some context…
Began working out around spring 2023. Learned about portion control, calorie counting, food science, and most importantly, discipline. Starting weight was around 215lbs. I plateaued around 140 for about two years before recently losing the last 30lbs. Currently sitting around 110. I am only 5’5, which 110 is a pretty normal weight for my height. I held most of my weight around my thighs, buttocks, and midsection. My butt is currently my biggest insecurity. It genuinely looks like a deflated balloon lol. Thank god it’s easy to hide. Most of my skin started tightening up within the last year, I wish I could give tips but it was mostly just time and patience. Current workout routine is mainly just long-distance hiking and some running. Getting into weight lifting towards the end of this month.
Posting again standing up
I posted a few days ago with a picture because I think I have loose skin on my belly, this picture is standing up...my belly button looks like a sad face I'm sure it's loose skin but it could be fat as well...what do you guys think?
