35M here. Also looking for people who have interests in classic Hollywood film history, Turner Classic Movies, etc.... Trying to meet more people with similar interests. Anyway they are screening the silent film The Son of Sheikh with Rudolf Valentino this Sunday (8/23/26) at the Masonic Lodge in Hollywood Forever Cemetery since it's the 100th anniversary of Valentino's passing. Valentino is also interned there. This a very special event for classic film enthusiasts. It's also free as well. Let me know if you'd like to meet up. Doors open at 5 PM and movie starts at 6 PM so probably need to get there around 5 PM.
Yooo im 24M I currently live in woodland hills and im looking to meet guys around my age to just hang out, watch sports at a bar or anything! My homies are all back home where im from, i moved here in 2024 and am looking to find a group of guys to hang out with joke around and have a good time🫡
Im a big sports guy, love music and working out and would love to hit up some bars and have a few beers or old fashions and just chop it up
?24M, student at LACC, usually around Echo Park. Introvert at first but once I’m comfortable, I can’t shut my mouth.
Usually free after 10pm. Looking for to hang out/date, but honestly friends are cool too. Down for late-night drives, beaches, mountains, coffee, parties, random adventures, or just trying new stuff.
Big on genuine vibes, no fake energy. Also pretty romantic/affectionate if we click.
If you’re around LA and looking for someone new to hang with, hmu :)

Hey everyone!
I’m 21M and I recently moved to LA after spending some time in Florida. I’m originally from Spain, but have Colombian family background (I look Latino). I’ve only been living in the US for a short time so still getting used to everything here.
I’m looking to meet people around my age (18-25) and make some friends around LA. I’m pretty open to anything honestly (grabbing food, going for walks, playing sports, gaming or just hanging out and talking).
I’m currently around Downtown/Koreatown, but I’m down to meet people anywhere around LA if we’re not too far apart (I don’t have a car yet).
Comment or DM me if you’re interested in hanging out! (If you dm me ur ig better, bc I don’t use Reddit that much)
(Btw sorry if my English isn’t very good) ✌🏽
Hi everyone, I’m not sure it’s ok to post this but I thought I’d try.
I’m planning to move to LA (from Europe), I have been trying to do so basically all my life. Lived in the US for a short time but my Visa was temporary.
Ever since then I’ve been trying everything to find companies that are open to hiring expats. It’s been insanely difficult because every time you apply, you get the question about whether you need sponsorship and I do.
But I won’t stop until I get it, I’m doing everything that possibly comes to mind. Connecting on LinkedIn, writing e-mails etc… and well.. posting on Reddit 🥲 but so far, nothing.
I’m posting this in hopes that anyone can relate and maybe has been in the same situation before and succeeded. Any tips? Insight? Ideas? I have a degree in Communications and have years of experience in creative work and client facing roles. I’m a people person and apart from looking for a job I’m always looking for new fun people to connect with and hang out with so feel free to comment if you think we could connect. I’m 33F and love music, art, checking out coffee shops and restaurants and hopefully finally exploring LA every day once I’ve moved ✨.
I'm a liaison for the Westside Comedy Theater and I just wanted to let you all know the next batch of classes are starting up! They do Stand up classes as well! If you've ever had the itch, why not give it a shot!
Heavy focus on activities but open to all recommendations :)
Thought I'd share this here since I know people are always looking for things to do on Friday nights - especially downtown. Clifton's in DTLA is starting a weekly comedy show this Friday (8/21). First lineup has Doug Benson, Curtis Cook, Shawn Zapp, Trent Mason, Sarah Lawrence and Larry White. Show starts at 8! 😄

I’m reposting again bc I didn’t include my city which is Long Beach and I understand that might be too far for some people so let’s try this again
I have like 4 friends that I don’t get to see often due to busy lives lol.
I like going to the movies (a list) and film fests, art galleries and museums, super into crafting and craft workshops, seeing local and (bigger) bands (punk, alt, hardcore). Even a gym buddy is cool but I go like at 5am lol. I have a knotts season pass too! I’m trying to make use of it before it expires the EOY
Preferably women (queer women especially welcome 🖤✨⭐️ id love to expand my sapphic circle ) bc men can have weird ulterior motives. Be around my age plsss (im talking to you weird old men 🤣)

[Update] The ticket has been claimed, but thanks to everyone who stopped by and expressed interest! Ticketmaster still has plenty of tickets for sale in the $60-70 range for those still interested in attending. Best of luck!

Hi everyone!
A few months ago (i.e. June), I bought a pair of tickets to the 8/16 Yoasobi concert at the Hollywood Bowl with expectations of finding a date before then. Fast forward since then—I got caught up with some [positive] changes at my workplace. I was moved to a different team which should introduce better mobility in the company and career-wise.
In the meantime... I want to attend the concert. But, I don't want to deal with trying to sell the other ticket. If I had to sell the ticket at a fraction of what I paid, I would rather give it away if it means making a new friend here in LA. I have a couple friends around here since moving here ~1.5yr ago, but they're generally people who need some notice to make it to an event like this.
Long story short, here's a free pass to anyone who can make it tonight on short notice. Doors to the concert open at 6:00pm, the concert starts at 8:00pm, and figuring out logistics probably requires us coordinating by 4:00-5:00pm.
Expectations + What I'm looking for:

What I'm Looking For:
I'll check in periodically until the deadline (in two-ish hours) and update this post after the cutoff.
tl;dr
A free ticket to the Yoasobi concert at the Hollywood Bowl (tonight at 8pm) is up for grabs. To make sure logistics can be sorted out, I'll probably set the deadline for comments/DMs between 4:00-5:00pm. Include additional details from above in your message to stand out more.
**We are a private meetup - please do not contact the Glassell Pool for information**
Hi all!
We are Glasselland Swim Club, a swim meetup in Glassell Park where adults (age 21-45ish) meet up, swim laps, and share pizza and drinks afterwards. We also occasionally take part in outside activities, like movie nights or open water swim races.
We’re looking for new folks to come join our community! No application process/fees/time requirements. Just be friendly, fun, and willing to build community with other folks from your neighborhood.
Please be aware though, the pool charges an admission fee ($4 for a single entry)
