[PC][2015–2018] First-person horror game where you're a police officer investigating a clown serial killer's house, then get transported to a carnival

I'm looking for a first-person horror game I watched on YouTube around 2016–2018. It had semi-realistic graphics (similar to Visage or Layers of Fear) and was about 1–2 hours long.

What I remember with high confidence:

You play as a police officer/detective investigating a missing persons case connected to a circus clown/serial killer.

The game starts at night. Your police car is parked outside a short wooden fence with its red and blue lights flashing. You start already standing next to the car with a flashlight.

You enter the property through a small gate.

Inside the property is:

  • a small log cabin
  • a white RV (I don't think you can enter it)
  • a movable ladder lying near the RV

The house is ordinary at first, not covered in blood or torture equipment.

Inside I remember:

  • lit fireplace
  • armchair
  • kitchen visible immediately after entering (very small house)
  • lots of pizza boxes on a table
  • newspapers about missing people and a circus clown

While picking up one of the newspapers, the character automatically notices a torn piece of clown costume underneath the armchair and comments on it.

The front door is initially locked before it mysteriously becomes accessible.

Attic

You have to carry the ladder from outside into the house so you can reach the attic.

I remember boxes in the attic and possibly seeing a child or doll silhouette before it disappeared.

Mannequins

As you investigate, mannequins begin changing positions whenever you aren't looking at them.

I also vaguely remember one crawling behind me while I walked toward the pier.

Outside

A dirt path leads away from the property.

Along the path is a storm cellar door with chains wrapped around both handles and a padlock.

Further ahead is a small wooden pier.

On the pier is a demonic/occult book sitting on something like a wooden stand/table.

Interacting with the book triggers a scripted event where a small blue rowboat carrying a mannequin slowly drifts away from the pier.

The mannequin is sitting at an angle, almost half lying down while facing the player.

Story structure

The game often faded to black or made the player blackout, then you would wake up in another scene.

There were no loading screens between these transitions.

Eventually you wake up in a nightmare carnival.

Carnival

The carnival is outdoors.

I remember:

  • carousel
  • circus tents
  • funhouse

A large/fat clown (kind of Pennywise-like but much bigger) chases you.

He carries a hammer or carnival mallet.

His running animation looked awkward, almost like running was difficult for him.

There was carnival music and the clown laughed while chasing you.

I think I had to collect gears or fuses to escape.

Other details

  • First person
  • Flashlight
  • No visible inventory
  • Little or no HUD
  • I don't think you could sprint during the investigation section
  • Foggy, moonlit forest
  • Psychological horror with repeated blackouts/dream transitions

Games it is NOT

  • Death Park
  • Clown House
  • Murder House
  • CASE: Animatronics
  • Emily Wants To Play
  • Outlast
  • Visage
  • Layers of Fear

I also drew a rough map from memory (attached).

Old school 5.25" floppy disk game

Alright, let me really test some of you aging gamers like myself.

It was a pov game where you moved around on a road or highway and you had to shoot bats or flying creatures that attacked you. I think there were buildings you could enter at times, but the reticle and bats stick out more in my mind than anything else. It probably came out in the mid to late 80s.

It is so old it is a core memory of mine.

[Browser/Flash] [2010-2013 ish?] Emo platformer game about a couple

(Apologies in advance if there's any grammatical errors english is not my first language)

I remember I once played a platformer on a now defunct website called Juegos10.com about this emo boy named Jack who fell in love with a blonde girl who's name I can't remember. One day she dissapeared and he went on a quest to find her.

Jack had the power to summon a "ghost" version of himself that you managed alongside him to get through the levels (it was the same model just transparent). You moved one at a time using the keypad, I didn't get too far in.

The aesthetic was very emo. Jack had black hair covering one eye and it was drawn in a chibi-esque (very early 2000s) anime style. The colors were muted and gray.

The game was voice acted and only in English even though the website was in spanish, I've been thinking about this game for a while and can't find it. Anyone know?

[PC] [2008 or earlier] Medieval Cartoony Point-N-Click

A cozy day to y'all! Hope you guys can help me figure out what the following game was called! c:

Platform: PC

Genre: Point-N-Click / Story Adventure with medieval themes

Estimated year of release: 2008 or earlier

Graphics/art style: Very simple, cartoony graphics with basic shading, somewhat close to the Deponia or Lucky Tower style.

Notable characters: The 3 main characters at the beginning of the game are a monk, a knight/warrior, and a mule/donkey.

Notable gameplay mechanics: I remember one section in the game about having to climb a mountainside with your party of 3 while rocks were falling down. You also had to manage bread and water in a bottle as resources with your characters.

Other details: The plot of the game started with the monk having to deliver a letter to a castle. The knight is your sidekick and together with the donkey, you embark on the journey to deliver it.
I also vaguely remember it being about the Burgundy area of France or something related to it. It might only be a German and French game.

Sadly, that is most of what I remember, but I still hope we can figure it out together.

So this game has been on my mind for years and searched a lot for it but couldn't find any answers.

I played this game roughly in 2011-2013 and at the time it was on apple store the game was accidentally lost.

In the game there was a green forest and in the forest there was like a bear so you wouldn't go there but stay inside the radius of safe place, there was specifically something like a open door and when you went through it you became into a dancing skeleton it was all very weird you were also a dog

the games symbol was of 3 dogs, thats all i remember :(((

anyways you guys if you have any knowledge about this i would love to know!!!!

Please help me find this Xbox game. I’ve been wondering about it nonstop.

I remember playing this game on my Xbox 360. I remember so much yet so little. So I asked chat gpt at first to see if it can help me and it couldn’t find it either, so here’s the list of the stuff about it from what I remember.

I played it on Xbox 360
I only had the downloadable demo (not the full game)
It was a 2D game (no 3D art)
It was a side-scroller / 2D side-view game
The camera stayed fixed (no real scrolling between areas)
I played as a small robot character
The robot was very short and humanoid (fat little body like a small man)
It had a square-ish head shape
It had a metal face design
It had human-like eyes with a bright glow
The eye glow was orange / red / yellow tones
It possibly had a glowing mouth line (orange line)
The robots had a purplish color scheme overall
The visuals had a dark purple sci-fi theme
The ground/world looked dark (metal or dirt-like, not sure)
The character appeared very small on screen (zoomed out view)
The game had small contained arena rooms
Some rooms had floating platforms
I could jump (high arcade-style jump)
I might have been able to dash (not fully sure)
I fought other robots that looked like me
Enemies were similar copies with the same general design
There were weapons (a gun sometimes visible on the character)
Weapons might not have been permanent (pickup-based)
There were weapon upgrades/power-ups
The upgrades were glowing (possibly orb-like pickups)
The robot’s appearance may have changed slightly with upgrades
Combat happened in small set areas / arenas
There were only a few enemies per room at a time
The game had an arcade-style feel (tight, fast controls)
It was likely an Xbox Live Indie Games (XBLIG) type game
It felt like a small indie / prototype-style game
I only played the demo version

Now some of these may not be right. Such as the upgrades being orbs or not. I don’t remember, but I’m pretty sure they were.
Please help me.

Trying to find a lost RPG I played as a kid

I don't remember much about this game but I was staying at a family friends place at the time might have been 10-12 but I'm not really sure, the game starts with you going to sleep in a bed in the middle of your room, after sleeping you wake up and your bed is gone and there is a either a portal or a trapdoor where your bed was (I'm not really sure which) you would go down into the door/portal, when you did you go through this randomly generated maze (there might have been more before this but I don't remember if there was) in this maze you fight either monsters or people and have the chance to recruit teammates, I think that if you were to go through the maze to slow or in the wrong direction you would have to fight this trex boss (might have also been a dragon), as for the machines of the game it was a turn base RPG, you were able to gather teammates (as stated previously) and there were a handful of different character types (like spell casters and such), this is all I can really remember right now but if you have any leads or any questions please let me know.

[found] Talking Tom Jetski 1 Game version 1.0.1

Hello everyone. I recently came across this game while browsing a revival project of the Android Market from the early 2010s. I downloaded it onto my old LG Optimus Me running Android 2.2 while looking through the available games. Unfortunately, the game would not run on that device, likely because it requires a newer version of Android. I transferred the APK to my main phone via Bluetooth, and it works perfectly there, i hope this helps anyone searching for it

Here is the link to it: https://archive.org/embed/com.outfit7.tomsjetski\_202606

I need to know the title of an old Roblox game!

There was game that I played when I was younger and I think it went by the title of “survive the __ Disasters“ or something like that, all I remember was that the setting had two houses, a playground and a bit of a wide open space in the middle and each round it would be some sort of challenge but the disasters consisted of different memes, the memes being that of the mid 2010s “dank meme😂dorito/mountain dew, shrek, doge, uwu/owo” era, from the description I remembered that they thanked flamingo for playing but that’s how far my memory goes, it was my favorite game of all time and I’m struggling to find it🥲

Help me find this game with a factory setting

So there was this game I used to play when I was younger. It was this endless (it went on until you lost) type game where you were in a factory from a top down view, and it was kind of like Subway surfers where there would be different lanes you could jump from and you were a box and you had to jump off into different boxes and everything was being moved by a cover belt, and if you fell into the conveyor belt, you would lose the game. The art style was very pixelated and kind of cute and I just want to try to find it to play it again. If anybody could help me I can also answer more questions sorry if the description was kind of vague

Anime WW2 tactics game?

I remember seeing a review/preview of this game on YouTube.

It was an anime style WW2 game with a tactics and story focus. The point was that you were playing battles with squads and vehicles, while each squad/member was an anime character with some backstory and characteristics.

The main theme of the game was sort of about loss, as your characters could die and that would impact the story going forward (or at least that's how the video advertised it). I think there might have even been romance between the characters, or some connections like that.

I remember how unique it looked, and how the reviewer was gushing about it being so genuine and grounded, despite the anime style. I am really curious to find it, but I have nothing other than this vague memory of it...
