Hey all, hope this is allowed

I had the chance to write a brief feature piece on recent developments at DontNod and on choice-based games as a whole.

No clickbait stuff, and sorry in advance if you see any ads there whilst reading. But besides that, this gave me a chance to also write some endearing stuff about the OG Life is Strange, as well as Lost Records.

.I do hope that by some miracle, DontNod manages to stay active. God knows how badly I'd pay for a sequel to Lost Records or just a third tape. Hope anyone who checks it out enjoys it! :))

Did someone else notice a bunch of fics in our fandom's tag disappeared? I am so sure it was about 260 the last time I check. Why is it 230 now? I dunno which ones are missing 😭😭😭

I just finished the game, unfortunately I took the wrong choices and Autumn left us before we opened the box, which leaded me to think something that was already on my mind: why is her personally so harsh?

I mean, it is ok to try to be responsible when your friends are taking really wild ideas, but it kinda pissed me that she seemed to be against everything all the time.

I wish they could at least tried to explain this behavior somehow (conservative parents, pressure to be a good girl, I dunno), because it didn't really fit having a cool punk girl acting like that.

Even Swann who was a very shy and insecure girl wasn't written to be like that, I don't get it.

So I was watching a streamer play the game from the beginning to the end, his ending wasn't something I think it makes quite sense, like, he got reconnected with Autumn in 2022 but the four girls pushed Corey into the abyss, then Autumn leaves even though she was reconnected with Swann in 2022. I watch most of the breaking down videos of Playing With Heart and she said that the ending of the 4 girls pushing Corey in the abyss is only possible if both Nora and Autumn have low scores in 2022, if that's so how is this possible?

I have just finished the game and ended up with Swann being alone at the end even though I really tried to keep them together maybe I'm just really bad at this lol.
And I screwed up again by immediately going to watch most of the different outcome I had from the game on YouTube because of the laziness to start a second playthrough until I have watched some subtle scene that might not affect overall story that much but it's interesting.

Now I feel very empty after I finished the game and it's made me want to erase my memory so I can play it a second time.

What I mean by that is, the game jumps between the present and the summer of 1995.

In my opinion, that often pulled me out of the immersion, just when I got used to the dynamic of the girls, I get pulled back into the bar and get asked for 10th time "what happened, what does that mean, we need to remember" etc.

Also, in the game sometimes you can have 3 people talking at the same time, I remember at the playground it could be present Autumn, Swann who was looking at something and in the background Kat talked with past Nora talking AT THE SAME TIME which was kinda overwhelming =D

So my suggestion would be to play the Summer of 1995 from start to finish and then the whole bar scene, obviously u would have to adjust some dialogue etc. but what do you guys think?

Did anyone else buy the Lost records Lp from Miniwax? I ordered it the 18 of march and it was in transit the 15 of may but i have not heard anything since.. i am scared i am not gonna Get my product so i just wanted to ask if anyone Else has bought from the site before or if anyone Else is in the same position as me?
