Does anybody know this video?

When I was younger i found this video on youtube. Not sure how old it is. The intro was a guy with straight black hair and black glasses, I forgot to draw them in the first picture. He was talking to the camera about his girlfriend for about 3 minutes, i can’t remember if the video was long or not. Maybe 5 minutes maximum. I don’t remember what he said exactly. I am 80% positive it was his girlfriend or a failed date he had. He stood in front of a white closet door then picked up the camera. He turned the camera around and it showed the door, when he opened it there was a woman duck-taped and tied up on the floor looking very distressed. I’m pretty sure he touched her face and when she started making noise he closed the door on her, i don’t remember what happened after that. Does anybody know about this or have seen it? Please let me know. I’ve searched for this video before and have had no luck

Please help me find this animated kids movie I had on DVD!

I don’t remember anything about the plot really, here’s what I do remember: there’s a big storm with lightning/thunder scenes, a puppy runs into this old abandoned building (could be an old house or barn), inside there’s furniture with white sheets draped on them & lots of dust. I’m pretty sure there’s a spooky painting, then a ghost or two comes out of it and chases the puppy out of the building. I’m imaging like an older bald man, with a white mustache, and eyeglass—but I could be so wrong about that. The puppy runs into the woods and maybe at one point gets lost or stuck???

I know none of that is too specific, but does anyone have any ideas or places to start? I just remember the general atmosphere being like spooky, in the countryside, and then there’s that one scene with the ghost. Also, the animation was very kiddy, I don’t think it was super detailed or anything.

Lost Mexican movie

I recently I acquired this short 35mm film reel of a fragment from some movie, it took me some time to figure out who made it and what it is, one of the actors on the print is Mexican actor “Mario Almada” that’s the only thing I know, it seems he was type casted heavily because I see many other films of his from the 80s where he looks almost the same.

The film stock itself is a good quality non color faded AGFA stock from 1979 I think, so this puts this film in roughly 1980-1989

I estimate that the film is about 7 or 10 seconds in total, and it looks scannable due to how well the sprockets look.

I found this in a box of retro decorations at a thrift shop I never been to before.

Lost movie

I’ve been trying for years to find a movie I watched as a kid (around 2013–2015), and I remember it extremely vividly, but I have never found it again.

Here is everything I remember:

  • It looked like an older film, but I believe it was made somewhere between the late 1990s and 2000s.
  • It felt like an obscure experimental European movie (possibly French, German, Eastern European, or similar).
  • The movie takes place roughly in a period setting somewhere between the 1950s–1980s.
  • Main character is a young white man, skinny build, dark medium-length hair.

Plot:

The protagonist suffered severe childhood trauma.

  • He was sexually abused repeatedly by his uncle when he was a child.
  • I specifically remember a disturbing flashback scene where the uncle enters his bedroom while he pretends to be asleep and forces him to perform oral sex.
  • His mother suffered from depression.
  • His father was violent/abusive.

As an adult he develops severe depression or mental illness.

  • His psychologist recommends that he voluntarily admit himself into a psychiatric hospital/asylum.

Most of the movie happens inside this asylum.

Inside the hospital:

  • Staff members are cruel and abusive toward patients.
  • The protagonist is rebellious and often refuses to obey staff.
  • As punishment he is locked alone in a room for long periods.
  • I remember a scene where they give him food (possibly rice) full of worms.

Important female character:

Inside the asylum he falls in love with a female patient who genuinely believes she is Marilyn Monroe.

Details:

  • Platinum blonde hair exactly like Marilyn Monroe
  • Same hairstyle
  • She smoked cigarettes using a long black cigarette holder, just like Marilyn Monroe

Important disturbing scene:

One male guard sexually abuses this Marilyn Monroe patient repeatedly.

During an escape plan:

  • The female patient intentionally cooperates sexually with the abusive guard to distract him.
  • The protagonists somehow drug/sedate him while he is abusing her.

Ending:

The protagonist organizes a riot/escape attempt with several patients.

During the escape:

  • A guard stabs or severely injures his eye
  • He appears to die

Final scene:

He survives, escapes successfully, and the movie ends with him free, wearing a black pirate-style eyepatch over one eye.

I have searched for this movie for YEARS and never found it.

It is NOT mainstream Hollywood.

I strongly suspect obscure European psychological cinema.

Does anyone recognize this film?

Short film on HBO in 80s?

I saw it twice, I believe in the late 80s. Two film students, maybe at NYU, debate the merits of Al Pacino vs. Robert DiNero performances. The debate escalates until one guy, I think it’s the Al Pacino guy, freaks out and cut himself with a tin can lid. His friend calms him down and then he leaves and that’s the end.

Does anyone know what I’m talking about? I’d love to see it again if I could figure out the name.

[TOMT] Help me find this old Christian VHS!

Been looking for the title of this VHS for a while and maybe someone can help. It features a man and a woman host (they seemed married?) who play guitar under a large tree and sing & tell stories. The woman wore a long robe-like dress and they both had brown hair. The woman also wore a large, costume style ring. There are also children who are dressed as angels, but I don’t remember the angels speaking or singing. It was likely a late 1980s or early 1990s Christian children’s VHS that likely came from a local church (I lived in Columbia Station, OH at the time). It had a peaceful outdoor pastoral setting and a low-budget church-ministry feel. Any takers? This is bugging me!
