Bobwise Gamgee 🌋🌋🌋
I'm not gonna play much Bob so I thought I would gift this to those of you who will. Good luck to you and your Fellowship on your impossible mission to GoD♾️!

Quick notes on the character:
Super fun to play, seems in his core gameplan the same as Tekken 7 with the addition of course of the Tekken 8 stance gameplay and his heat, which for now seems super strong but not completely overwhelming like Kuni. B3+4 is the most ridiculous mid I've ever seen since a long time: super long range, safe, wall splat, pushback, does everything for the character. Overall a very solid toolset of great poking mids like B2, df1 and extensions, DB3, ss1+2 with Mishima wave dash and pressure. Insane punishment but lacks a 15f standing launcher unfortunately, tracking is good but lacks a good homing and approaching sometimes on stepping opponents can become hard. Overall nice experience for now!

So with this new patch I’ve been encountering loads of random accounts with random names that are troll names, that are good but spam the same move. Then win and then spam my low defence Stats profile whatever, back to me on a chat on psn. calling me a newbie. Or whatever.
Haven’t had this in ages. Is this part of the update or did I miss something?
I fight 1 guy earlier and win. Had to rush out so didn’t rematch. And the dudes hounding off in Psn chat for hours about how I’m shit and ran, when personally I didn’t re-match because I needed milk and whatever from
The shop because Yano. Life!
I got back into tekken after my father died as a way to just do something at night because I was bored. and haven’t had it this bad since the old tekken 6 days. Must of had 20 messages today. 😂
Delete if isn’t allowed. I’m just curious
Thanks
As the title says, I am in need of some advice/help. While I do understand and have a general game plan for my neutral, I'd like to refine it and make it feel more solid. For context, I've been a Jin main since the launch of t8 and he isn't as poke heavy (in my playstyle) compared to kunimitsu. Although I have played her in t7, I didn't really main her then as Julia was my favorite. So wrapping back, I need help with improving my neutral game plan with kunimitsu. Ty in advance 🤝
The wedding dress and Nina's short bob haircut, I think it's the perfect combination
I've been having a pretty rough go at ranked lately. I guess you could say I feel stuck again. This Lidia came at me fiercely and terrorized me for 2 whole rounds before something snapped and I pulled out a comeback! I couldn't believe it and I'm still hyped from the moment! I solemnly swear from today forward that I will not give up no matter the odds against me!
Why is nobody talking about how the fundamental rule of tekken for every character besides king is grabs can’t be performed in the air. Yet this guy in the same breath as another grab gets to yank you out the air and do air grabs completely unintentional. I don’t have a problem with his SW or his GS but it’s so annoying when I have a read on a grab and say I wanna hop kick. since my hurt box expands not his on attack I get yanked. Am I crazy for being frustrated
this has absolutely no practical application lmao i was just fuckin around
I feel like I'm taking crazy pills, he re-aligns on half his moves, even his powercrush re-aligns once you side step it, so the default "just step him" doesn't even work, and yes I know the matchup, he still should get obliterated with nerfs.
If he was added to the game TODAY as DLC he would be branded as worse than Hitler, but because he's "legacy" half of his OP stuff just gets glossed over.
TLDR: nerf Hwoarang
Just a little bit of foreword:
Tekken 8 has been my first entry into taking FGs seriously. Before that I only messed around on cabinets, spamming buttons against characters I didn't know. I decided to pick up Lidia because of how unique she felt: I'd played Lidia on a cabinet when I went to Japan and had fun, especially since I had a background in karate. So when I decided to finally pick up 8 during Season 2 it was obvious who to play.
I couldn't bring myself to really stop playing Lidia, mostly because I believed that I needed "a few hours" playing her before I moved onto a different character. It kinda devolved into only playing her non-stop.
Anyways, after the first few matches I decided to take it seriously: I joined Lidiacord, watched YouTubers like Sesujin, and kinda just obsessed about Lidia to the point that I did not learn any other character.
Turns out if you only learn one character you'll lose a lot (check that win rate out)! So eventually around Red I labbed a few characters I frequently saw—Mishimas, Steve, Law and the like. I looked at my replays to see what were the common moves, learned the counters, that was it. Granted I barely practiced, but eventually I got to Purple which is where I hung around for the majority of my hours, finally hitting Blue a few months ago.
I'd really like to blame lag for how bad my games were, which would be half-true. I could literally play against my neighbor and still have over 100 ping (I play on a laptop so I did test other places, all of them have the same results). It really frustrated me being unable to execute combos, fuzzy duck, or even just block after a jab. There was even one time that I raged so hard on a Fahkumram (which I fought for the first time) with McDonald's WiFi that I sprained my ankle.
I also despise how big the file size is. I had to make space for it and it really pushed my drive to its limits, even with mods to shrink it.
And the matchmaking, god. It takes me anywhere between 10 seconds to 10 minutes to find one game and some of them aren't even in the same continent. It's a cycle of no players, queue up laggy players, lose, repeat.
I'm not entirely sure but I'm pretty sure online matches are the reason I can't progress: I've gotten into a few local tournaments since and I've done well (or at least that's what the GoD+ players in my area say with fair criticism) so I'm quite convinced that if I had decent matchmaking I would actually improve rather than needing to QTE and predict hellsweeps.
Overall I really recommend casual players play Tekken 8, but getting seriously into it requires hours and years off your life. Anyways, Harada fix matchmaking please I've been queueing against the same five people 2,000 miles away
i know his attacks how deal with them but when i see shits like that i get crazy, why a giant character has so much damage tools mobility and TRACKING
I managed to add Master Raven. @jirranartist on Instagram if you'd like to follow.
I've set a new goal for myself in trying to learn every character in this game. Yes, I know it'll be hard and take time, but I am enjoying it so far. My goal is to try to get every character to GoD1 at least (probably wont but doesnt hurt to try) so far im GoD 3 on AK (my main) and GoD1 on hei, kaz, dvj, and drag. My main concern is learning niche characters like jack, xiaoyu, and zaf. If anyone has any tips on learning characters like those it would be greatly appreciated.
I did a fanart of most of the black characters. I couldn't fit master raven or tiger Jackson in.

Tekkendocs goated update
My homie and I got Tekken 8 a little more than a day ago and I rarely do well against his Law (And Lars). We aren't FG noobs, just inexperienced in Tekken. I have 2-3 bnbs down and consistent in strike/throwing with Leroy but I can't get down a consistent parry timing and I feel like I get destroyed health-wise everytime in trades. Neutral is still odd to me and I feel like most of my issues would get culled from just getting more experience, but any tips I can get to play around Law as Leroy?
Hi all, I have a noob question. I have all the settings for Special Style disabled in display settings.
But I've noticed that sometimes in my adventures in ranked online (Brawler tier at the moment) during an opponent's Rage Art their Special Style UI will briefly appear for a second. So I was wondering:
a) is it just a graphical bug? I do have it disabled after all. (I'm on PC)
b) a taunt? I've read about such behaviour, though it appearing for one second in a RA doesn't really make sense. Unless it's some obscure exploit that can bypass my setting lol.
c) they're legit bringing it up midgame because they're panicking and need help? (but I have the setting disabled, so back to it being a bug again)
Anyway, I hate Eddys. That's the real point of this message.
Happens sometimes where I’ll win and I’ll just be surprised cuz despite the fact that the opponent seemed to know more and have more skill I was somehow able to win lol
