Hey guys !! I've been selected in the IT dept. In Loyola. My dream was VIT (after NITs), yk its placements, curriculum, exposure, culturals, clubs, etc., . My prep period during the board & entrance went terrible and so I would say that I gave my worst. I wrote all the entrance tests with 0 prep(except snu; since half of the portion-aptitude) . But, my results weren't that bad for it. So, I think that I have the potential to get into top colleges. If I take a drop, I'll join Aakash & then prep for Jee.

Should I take a drop or go for Licet ?

How many selection lists does Loyola College usually release for B.Sc Visual Communication and Multimedia Animation? Do they complete admissions in the first list itself or release multiple lists? Kinda anxious

I believe snuc's syllabus and curriculum is more intensive and useful but I also feel like I might lose a lot of opportunities as snuc is in the others of chennai and stuff, also they only accept less students so there won't be much diversity among peers. Idk what to do

Hey, I have been thinking about getting into loyola icam, in cse branch. I wanted to know about, if they are strict are there fines if you break rules, whats the dress code for girls, do we get internship from college side, what about the placements, how are the people there are they chill or strict.

How many seats are there for Viscom at Loyola College Chennai in both Shift 1 and Shift 2? Also, how many classes are there for each shift, and approximately how many students are there in each class?

I got admission into BSc Physics, but currently I’m waiting for the TNGASA and CUET results, and I have also applied for engineering programs in China. These results will be announced after the Loyola admission result. So, how should I manage this? I have already paid the first-semester fees, and
I would like to know the refund policy if I get a better option.
Also, is there any update regarding the document verification date?
And do I have to submit the original documents to the college?

I got provisional admission for BCA at Loyola College Chennai and I need to pay the semester fees by tomorrow. I’m from North India and I only know Hindi and English, not Tamil.

I wanted to honestly ask:
- Will language be a major issue in academics or daily college life?
- Are professors cooperative with non-Tamil students?
- Do North Indian students generally face any discrimination or problems there?
- How is the overall environment for outsiders?

I know this can be a sensitive topic, but I genuinely want honest opinions from current students/alumni before confirming my admission.

How much is the cutoff and fees expected for admissions into B.com related courses???

What exactly do they mean by portfolio?Should it be physical photos art pieces or can i use my phone?
If iam going to showcase my photos what should i do????

Guys day after tomorrow i am going to write Lovat to join viscom but i am scared asf i have prepared a portfolio consisting of my decent digital drawings, photos, and visual designs. I heard they ask questions related to grammer and ask you to draw stuff or observe an image and write a paragraph about it thats not really a problem for me but i dont really know much about directors and stuff, i am just wondering if the questions about them will be super basic cause if so i can try to learn as much as i can using tomorrow

So basically I have 3 sketches and 1 painting, 2 digital drawings, 4 graphic design works like poster, ad, brochure etc., and a few posts, reels edited, videos and pictures clicked by me.. is this like enough??.. i heard that we should have short film scripts kinda things also included but I genuinely do not have any scripts made.. what to do please help 🥲

Hey guys , my cousin wants to join loyola for his b.com (corporate secretary) and has got 85% in his boards . He applied for the course via application online , we have some connections within the church so they said seat is confirmed .

Can you guys give me a breakdown about the b.com department in general and about the b.com(cs) group like the syllabus , teachers , guys who mostly study there , etc .
