Final breakdown of my score. Had 6 non-bowser deaths, 3 were the Pipe Room. Bowser took me quite a few tries to realize how it worked differently.
Had a ton of fun. Will be playing again.
Man, what a fantastic experience. I finished it in about 7-8 hours, and I enjoyed every single one of them. Aged like wine 😭
I loved EVERYTHING: the art style, the attention to the soundtrack, the sound design, and the gibberish voice acting.
The humor was delightful, and the atmosphere took me back to when Nintendo games, ESPECIALLY Mario games during the Nintendo 64/GameCube era, had this slightly melancholic and eerie vibe.
They were obsessed with paintings back then, and even Ocarina of Time was originally supposed to use paintings as entrances to dungeons during development before the idea was scrapped.
The setting is wonderful too. The mansion is full of personality, with no two rooms feeling the same. It's large, but never confusing or overwhelming to explore.
I can totally believe it was considered a benchmark for the GameCube for a long time. Visually, it must have been unlike anything people had seen before.
Can't wait to play Luigi's Mansion 2, maybe when the Nintendo Shops decides to discount him a little bit! I've already bought the third time ago but never played it :)
Found the Luigi's Mansion Nintendo Power and got a little bonus with it! $40 but well worth it.
what do you mean 0 health
edit: people this is not me asking why it happened i posted it for the funny
Taking a small break from my other series, also idc if it looks ass it was fun
I’ve owned and played the NA version of this game many times. I’ve completed an all gold frames, A rank, no resets before and really felt the only thing left to tackle was the max money play through. I had even suffered through the All Gold Frames on regular mansion.
LITTLE DID I KNOW, this whole time the PAL version (which I knew had the map flipped) had an actual difference in terms of ghosts and money.
I was expecting it to be a mediocre checkbox I did it, then booted up that hidden mansion and WOW was I in for a refreshing surprise. The PAL version changed sooo many rooms it’s been a blast playing.
I just defeated Boolossus and felt I should let others know: “If you’ve played the NA version and feel like hidden mansion was a letdown or you feel like playing again but don’t want the same old free win, try the PAL version. It’s been a blast playing!”
So, I'm having a debate with bro. I'm sure the music from Mario Kart's Luigi's Mansion map is, somehow, in Luigi's Mansion 2, whether it is the music or the melody, and he's sure that's not the case.
Does someone have the answer? I really don't want to lose the debate T-T
I know later there's a ghost within the room, but those don't seem to talk, they just make noise.
So with this in mind, (in the games universe) what ghost is throwing their voice here? Or maybe its a disembodied voice?
What do all of you think?
Strange Button
I was having a grand time for the short lived moment of me catching a speedy spirit. Only two or so minutes later the power company had to do maintenance and the power was out for the next 2 hours. I also realized within that time I didn’t save my progress through area two. thought this was a funny occurrence that I should share.
Working on a wearable version of the beta Poltergust from Luigi's Mansion (GC)! The main body is about 3 feet long.
They are so butt bro what is happening
