Luxury hotels are becoming bigger flexes than luxury shopping now

Maybe it’s just social media, but it feels like people are spending more on “experiences” than actual luxury products lately. Everyone’s posting Aman stays, private villas, luxury trains, yacht trips, etc. Feels like the definition of luxury is slowly shifting from owning things to experiencing things.
