I’m 99% convinced to buy the 08 but…

I still have my doubts on the software, the post 50.000 KM maintenance and the FWD.

I am planning to buy my 08 in Spain and i read that many software issues have been solved and the annoying safety warnings can all be switched off with one button.

Despite this i do read that the ADAS still isn’t safe enough and there are many and new software features that solved old bugs.

This leads me to the following:

How certain are we that these existing features will be solved and has anyone experienced real faults and fast wear with the mechanics or other parts post 50K KM?

Its a very big investment for me and this is the first time i plan to invest this money in a new car as i am usually the person that would rather drive a second hand Volvo than a brand new flashy car with all the new features.

However this car has exactly everything i need in Spain as a foreign citizen who occasionally drives up to the north including Andorra in the winter. So does anyone have had major issues with the car so far? The final open topic is has anyone considered or improved their rough terrain traction with all terrain tires to increase traction due to the lack of AWD?

Close to closing on the 08 halo spec. Would love to hear from long term owners what they think about the car and what sucks

IMO so far: Car drives well enough, nice to have the power out the gate, especially coming from a slower car, but all the actions though the screen sucks a lot and doesn’t feel like the AC Is very strong or easy to get used to.
Also the breaking is very sensitive

But I really want to hear from owners that have lived with it, what are your thoughts and what is it missing?

Ow and it not having the automatic back opening with your foot seems like a silly thing not to have.
Ow and no heads up display either.

Lastly is the Harmon and Karson sound system actually good? It sounded very very front forward and not very surround
