Honestly, I expected it, but I’m still confused. I don’t know why

This is masters, so do not ask me about undergrad, I don’t know.

Thank God I did not turn down my other opportunities while waiting for them. How are you recommending more people than you have seats? How utterly bizarre, especially for a university of this caliber.

it’s not about nationality, do not ask where I am from. there were students from Egypt, indonesia, Nepal, Tunisia, Europe, and North America, who got rejected after recommendation/self intro. It not about security clearance. Stop trying to reason this. If you’re lucky you’ll get in, if you’re not, you’re not. it’s not about papers, or nationality, or grades, or the exams. It’s not even about doing work with the professors in uni. It’s all LUCK. I personally know 3 people who got in, and countless who did not. there is no rhyme or reason, stop trying to unlock to secret.

I want to apply for PHD in HCI I have a masters in HCI degree from ISU with 3.94 GPA, 2 published papers and assisted a few other researches. I don’t have any industry experience though, will my profile qualify for PHD in HCI? Thank you.

Hello Everyone, I'm currently a computer engineering student at UAEU, my current GPA is 3.75, I would like to prepare from now in order to get a direct PhD entry to MBZUAI without taking a master's degree, can anyone provide help in terms of what would give me a good chance of getting admitted.
