Chances of getting accepted soley based on holistic evaluation

Hey guys, I'm currently applying to METU as an American student who actually just finished their senior year studying in Ankara on a scholarship program. I love Ankara and I really enjoyed living in Turkiye so I've decided to apply to get in for an IR degree. In comparsion to those that have incredibly high SAT scores and crazy grades, I sit with no SAT, a 3.5 GPA (with both senior and junior year being straight A's, first two years of HS were rough). I have decent volunteering experience as well as both language and abroad experience having studied for 3 summers in Spain, speaking nearly fluent spanish, studying in Ankara and speaking basic turkish. I did plenty of extracurriculars and was heavily involved in honors band(s) and many sports. I actually did get the opportunity to meet with the international admissions officer and speak with her as well as tour the campus which, hopefully, increases my chances.

All this to say, what are some personal opinions regarding this, I have no other plan for college as other universities in ankara don't take just the american diploma and gpa without standarized tests, this is my only hope before a potentially dreaded gap year. Anyways, would love to hear some thoughts, thanks!

What are my chances?

So I'm applying to METU for Civil Engineering, Architecture, Aerospace (for funsies), and was wondering if i have a good chance of getting in and if I do then what are my scholarship opportunities as an international student from Pakistan. I'll share my profile below.

CIES: 8 A* in O-Levels, 3 Ain AS-Level. Predicted grades 1 A* 2 A

SAT: 1390 (740 Math)

Others:

  • Top 25 nationally in selection process for IMO and top 40 for INSO.
  • Vice president of literature club that designed our school's first yearbook.
  • Volunteer work in school for multiple events organizing and managing logistics{Includes raising money for the earthquake and flood victims of turkey in 2023).
  • 20 hrs community service for WWF.
  • SOP about needing a dual perspective in my country that focuses both on the aesthetic and sustainability in an already resource scarce country and also mentions a research paper by one of the professors that did a study in Pakistan's droughts and climate.
  • 25th nationwide in IKLC comp this is kinda irrelevant tho

Chances for Industrial Engineering? (1530 SAT, 89/100 diploma)

Hi everyone. I'm planning to apply for Industrial Engineering and I'd love some honest feedback on my chances.

My stats:

  • SAT: 1530
  • High school diploma: 89/100

Do these numbers look competitive for the program? And if you've applied or been accepted, I'd really appreciate hearing what else mattered in your application. Thanks in advance!

ODTU / METU difference in job market

Hi, well I'm a Turkish student and want to study at metu but got some questions.

A) On the diploma it says that you've graduated from cyprus but is that really a problem in the job market even though it already has odtu's name on it?

B) Is it any better to apply with a northern cyprus citizenship since I have both citizenships?

C) Yatay geçiş ile ilk sene sonu Ankara'ya geçmek mümkün mü?

Thanks!
