Need some feedback on how to deal with quite possibility the most annoying strategy I've ever faced in DD before.

Last night I face a guy who was the most irritating player I've ever faced in possibly any sports game before. While pitching, he would hold on to the ball until the very last second before pitching. Not in that he would take forever to select a pitch, but after selecting a pitch, he didn't deal until ~10 seconds afterwards. Since he had already selected the pitch, I can't pause and I can't step out of the batter box. I just sit there waiting. I guess what he did worked cause it annoyed me so much that I started hacking at bad pitches because it was prolonging the game too much. I know thats the mechanic of the game, so that is more of a rant than anything. It ended up being the longest game I've ever played because of this annoying tactic.

What I do need help with is how to deal with his hitting strategy. Anytime he got a runner on base, he would set runner in motion and would bunt to the 2nd base side. Because runner was in motion it kept going to the dead area between 1B, 2B and P. He got on base 4-5 times just doing this. How do you deal with something like that?

One more point to add - this guy put in Brody Bumila in the 9th to close. Holy cow i've never hated an opponent more. </end rant>

How is everyone’s progress so far this year on Diamond Dynasty? I personally feel like I’m in the best situation I’ve ever been in on this mode and I started on 21.

I’ve been crashing out lately over my inability to catch up with high velo while being way too early for breaking balls but I seem to have a pretty good eye for balls, still do okay on solo ranked hovering around 500, wondering what’s the best camera angles to use if I hate using PCIs (currently on timing hitting with directional setting on)

6 days since I’ve last played a duo coop ranked game on Xbox I’ve ran into 24 bots and have given up hope on finding a game. Is there a fix anyone has seen or something I’m doing I need to change to not run into a bot every single time. I’ve searched and searched and nothing has come up. Currently sitting 627 and can’t find a single game

And then weekend classic Ended and i been on a slump can’t catch up on 96 mph fast balls balls look like they are in the zone then swing out of the zone ,, it happens every time the classic ends for me anybody got any solutions for my slumped I think is just mental tryna ge tout the slump swinging at everything won’t help 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂only difference this time I can’t get out the slump before it only took a couple games but 2 weeks bruhhhhhhhh chat am I Cook ?

So I was wondering why, if Sony has the license for the stadiums, why they never have any beer advertisements inside the stadium in the game like they do in real life? Did people complain about it and are that sensitive or was it just a Sony choice?

Anyone else feel like SDS kinda just mails it in after the “big” All Star content drop or is it just me?

I’ve played competitive games my whole life but this game is horrible online. Idk why I’m bad at it makes no sense. I’ve played 50 games I’ve won 2 legit were I was leading and they quit. What is going on. I have not enjoyed a single game yet am I just bad or is this game much harder to pickup then other games. For example I’ve been division 2 in Hockey Ultimate team many years.

Allow me to set the stage for everyone. Bottom of the 9th. 2 outs. Nobody on. One out away from no hitter (because Bobby Witt fumbled a routine ground ball and it counted as an error ). Clemens is dealing.Opponent hits a routine fly ball (probably 90 mph exit velocity) to Andruw Jones who I have in right field. He is at the edge of the circle for where the ball is supposed to land and he lets it drop.

I would expect this from my Cole Carigg card who has average fielding stats as an outfielder, but not from a fielder who has 94 fielding in their secondary position.

Granted, I’ve gotten no hitters in their past, but man, to have a no hit bid end on some bs like that is frustrating.

IMO I don’t think that that type of mechanic should apply to that good of a fielder. Maybe it’s unlucky RNG that I got that animation, but at the end of the day, I still won, which helps a bunch as I’ve been in a hitting slump recently.

Didn’t have time to complete the field of dreams event so therefore don’t have the 2 players you get through the event. I’m noticing there’s no FOD collection rn but Does anyone think there will be one coming or if all FOD players will be needed for a future legends/flashback player? Trying to gauge whether I should go ahead and buy those two players before the price shoots up some after the event is over
