This is absolutely ruining the marketplace. You can basically go to any player that will swing a profit if you buy and sell orders and there’s a bot that will undersell overbuy by 1 stub on every.single.card. It’s absolute insanity. You can remove your order and instantly the order that outsold or bought you by 1 disappears. Go back and re-enter your price, and it instantly happens again. What’s the point in a marketplace if SDS is ok with it being manipulated by bots/scripts?

I’m seriously considering doing this. As a 36 year old who typically plays 2-5 games a week, I absolutely despise HoF. I get it for those who play the game more consistently and/or are younger that HoF probably plays better for you. But for someone like me, HoF is just not enjoyable. I win roughly 65% of AS games, but when I get to HoF against outlier pitchers I’m lucky to get 3 hits.

I got to 700 this season and fully expect to go 0-6 during this weekend classic. Now I’m seriously considering just quitting any game when I get close to 700. Anyone else consider doing this or already do?

I’m sure I’m not in the minority when I say that I enjoyed grinding the team affinity for every team. The system they did this year was so bare bones and most of the players were only viable for a couple of weeks anyways, even with the captain boosts. I’m hoping they do another team affinity program for the all star content. Some reason to use all of these random cards I never touch would be nice.

I drove 220 straight miles back home from vacation hoping to catch up on programs before I had to go to work tomorrow and surprise surprise the servers are down again. I don’t want something stupid like an 85+ live series pack to make up for recent instability. I just want the game to be functional because that’s what I paid for it’s ridiculous.

How is it on every one of my days off the servers go down?!? Any update on when it’s supposed to be back on?

This is my first show since 23 so I forgot what it looks like. Will it be a massive collection with every All-Star and how big will the programs be? Or is it just like a normal program and update?

Okay so I have recently been having a problem when playing online that I don’t even really know how to describe. Let me start by saying I am not a big tech person so forgive me if this is a silly question lol. Recently when playing online I have been experiencing a weird bug when I am pitching. I assume it’s just lag but I’m not sure as I have been playing since launch and haven’t had this issue before now. It’s like on half of my pitches as the ball is halfway to the plate it just teleports and goes a mile away from where I placed the pitch. Resulting in a ton of wild pitches and hbp’s. Every time it happens when I look at the pitch feedback it says very late no matter how I timed my pitch. I use meter if that matters(I know it’s not optimal but I never learned pinpoint). Anyone know what could be causing this? Is it just bad internet connection? Or could it be something to do with my monitor or game settings? It doesn’t happen when I play modes like conquest or mini seasons only BR or ranked.

So I just finished the 40 total bases with Joe Mauer on HOF in his respective mini season. I am notoriously bad with Mauer cards so this wasn’t a quick grind for me. Finally got that Ultra Pack though and was hyped, only to open it and get one single Easter Bunny choice pack from it?? Naturally said Easter pack was the low round, which has a crisp 2,750 stub sell now value…is this a bug? Or did I just get absolutely scammed?

Was really looking forward to basically getting 5 diamonds that at least would’ve all quick sold for 20-30k stubs depending on the pack it gave me. But giving me, instead, a single choice pack from an Ultra pack, that also only gives me one single card from the pack, feels like such a scam that I cant imagine that is an intended outcome? And here I thought I got scammed on the first Ultra pack from that mini season for giving me the WBC Ultra pack that netted me like a whole 10k stubs, then SDS said “hold my beer” and screwed me even harder than I thought possible lol.

Like is this something I should be submitting a ticket to SDS for, or submitting a bad review? 😂😂

Can you guys let me know if you’ve experienced this before as well? Or let me know if I’m just an unlucky bum lol.

Just hit World Series for the first time in the nearly 2 years I’ve been playing, now I’m just stuck in a cycle of floating around 800-820 like I lose a game for each game I win. How difficult is the push to 1000 or am I gonna tear my hair out?

21-19 after 40 games. I play about half my games simulate the rest. Jump in sometimes if the game is close late. I pretty much love it. Franchise features leave a bit to be desired, and I know that is pretty much consensus, but it is enough for me. Honestly I’m the type that just wants to catch up and play the season along with the real White Sox. I don’t need to get prospects and play 5 seasons etc.

I love hitting home runs with my favorite guys like Vargas, Montgomery, or Murakami. I’m fairly good at pitching and defense. Hitting is getting better every game and last couple days I’ve had a couple 8-10 run games with some nice home runs.

I also mix in plenty of Diamond dynasty which I might like even more than franchise. Once again, I know this years DD isn’t perfect, but I enjoy the team building and cards and stub collecting.

My other favorite aspect is the negro leagues story lines. I had ‘23 which was the first one with the Negro League feature. But I feel like ‘26’s is done really well and doesn’t get enough credit for that. I play on Switch 2. Graphics are not great, but the player stances and movements are realistic enough for me to have fun. I enjoy little things like wearing Fourth of July jerseys on the fourth, or Jackie Robinson day jerseys etc. Really just trying to drop a little positivity. Very excited for nba 2k 27 on switch. I know it will be a better overall game.

I have fond memories of playing MLB: ‘06 The Show on my PSP, back when I was a teenager (I’m now in my mid-30s). I was an Xbox guy, though, and didn’t play the console version of this franchise until 2017.

I’m a perfectly average player, and made peace with never being a more elite player.

I think my biggest gripe with this game is how unsatisfying it can be. It’s difficult to consistently hit well, and the game doesn’t reward you for a good swing nearly as much as it should.

1. What is the point of having Red or P5 Diamonds + Supercharged cards if good swings lead to outs? The amount of times I’d square up a ball, only for it to hang in the air for a laughably long time or line drives being consistently caught.

2. I swear this game punishes you for swinging at the first pitch, even if you square up on it. I’m actually going to keep track for the coming week, because I genuinely don’t think this is a coincidence.

3. The computer’s defense is a joke. Everyone talks about outfielders making insane dives on balls into the gap, or infielders warping to the ball, but how about all the times a pitcher will nab a line driver behind their backs?

I don’t want to invest my time, money, and energy into a game that is doing everything it can to screw me.

Diamond Dynasty feels so cluttered and unfocused, like they’re trying to please too many masters. Diamond Quest tried to blend Moments with Showdown and Conquest, Mini Seasons are not fun to grind through (and part of that is their refusal to, you know, make them feel like actual seasons), and Events have been unimaginative and too infrequent.

They want you to grind two different, yet interconnected programs, too.

It just feels unfocused, sloppy, and lazy.

I just played two legend games and won and the epic reward was 86% and somehow I didn’t get either one. That is so ridiculous there’s a less than 2% chance of that happening. I even filled out the whole DQ map. Just give me the damn cards! Any advice on how to not get screwed?

I haven’t gotten any type of double XP this weekend whatsoever. Anyone else having these issues?

I personally have been using Robert Flores for most of my games. I like that he injects some humor and breaks the fourth wall. Some of the lines do get repetitive, and I’ve even heard him use the exact same line for consecutive stolen bases. Just curious what the rest of the community is using when they play.

This game is a Misiorowski simulator until you reach HoF. Don’t we get tired of him? I’ve seen him 12-14 ranked games. Shits getting boring.
