I’m just curious if anybody knows how much these guys who play this game full time make. I’ve seen some accounts put in crazy number (as in needs to touch more grass) number of hrs in. Like they gotta be making enough for a living right?

Need opinions for my MLB The Show all-time roster universe. I think I’m leaving Ohtani off the Dodgers and putting him on the Angels , but I’m torn.
Angels Ohtani was legendary and carried that franchise for years, but if I’m doing all-time value and peak version, Dodgers Ohtani may end up being the better choice.
My problem is against lefties. I already use Piazza at DH and Campanella at catcher. If Ohtani is on the Dodgers, what would you do? Bench him against lefties? Move him to the outfield? Keep him in the lineup anyway because he’s Ohtani?
Trying to keep this realistic and avoid roster inflation.

This is my first time playing MLB the show I’ve never been big into baseball but have gotten into it this year I always play Madden and love football but started to like baseball now I’m trying to figure out the best way to get new cards as a no money spent player and I’ve also read that auto generated lineups are not good in mlb like Madden so I’m curious on some insight on how to build a good roster for online matches
Like the ABS challenge, let me challenge all calls throughout the game until I run out. Sometimes on double plays I swear my runner is safe at first but I dont even get chance to challenge. When I steal a base and its a close call, cant challenge, I just have to take the call for what it is. Theres way more challenges in baseball then just the "runner safe at first" and ABS
Why give us another Cam card? Like WTF, Will Warren or or Rodon would’ve been a better choice. Or anyone else who doesn’t have one yet. This card makes zero sense has less quirks still than the cam egg hunt and still no outlier FB.
I’d rather have more different players get cards than a slightly better duplicate. I every person who bought the game would agree yet SDS continues to do this year in and out.

Bro this card is juiced, 85+ contact. Power, vision, for both left and right, 90 speed, 91 arm strength and 90 arm accuracy.. might be the best left fielder in the game
Please SDS before doing more updates can we fix something ruining the experience?

But against lefties he has a 68 contact and 72 power.

Showdown is my favorite segment of diamond dynasty and I feel like we used to get them more frequently. Even the new Gausman one is just two challenges. Anyone else feeling this way?
Also with they would use showdown cards for the showdown challenge 🤷♂️

Does this game have the late game offensive explosion script? I find myself constantly scoring/giving uk multiple runs in the 9th inning of games where there were maybe 4 total runs before that
I come from fifa that is notorious actually basically proven to have tilt that leads to late game goals.
Just wondering if others experience this. Should I be frustrated at myself for blowing saves or is that just what this game does to you ?
I’ve been grinding mini seasons for a while now (I played Ranked here and there) but anyway recently the CPU is extremely sweaty on Veteran. I’ve played so many games recently where their defenders are making web gems all over the field and they’re hitting HRs more often. Maybe I’m just going through the motions too much? Idk, does anyone else feel this way?
I took a little time off from co-op, jumped back in yesterday and was really bummed that the filler players in 2v2 co-op are all 94 overall. I just bought the 95 Lindor to juice up my lineup and was really disappointed when I realized that he’s barely better than the base filler players. Kinda makes all my cards pointless when I can replace them with 94 and it takes all the fun out of a lineup when it’s 94s top to bottom. Really wish they would lower the floor and not have the fillers be some of the best cards currently in the game.
