One of the professors, Mr.Sameer Srivastava is the Boys Warden of the institute.

Today, during his lecture, he disclosed that a fresher has filed an Anti-Ragging complaint against a *_3rd Year_* student ( speculated to be a youtuber by the student body ). The fresher claimed that the 3rd year student had forced him to refer to his seniors as Sir/Ma'am in an unofficial WhatsApp group and registered a complaint with proofs on the Anti-Ragging portal of the institution.

As a direct result of this, the institution is currently heavily involved in this case and the involvement of police is a given.

Our professor also claimed that the faculty body of the institution wasn't aware about the prevalent " Sir/Ma'am culture " of the institution. The institution organized 2 meetings over the weekend with the director of the institution and 15 other highly reputed professors which lasted for about 5 hours each. In the meeting, it was decided that if a student reports a senior for the issues as mentioned above, the institution will not be forgiving of such cases as any report filed on the Anti-ragging page is immediately circulated across every anti-ragging related body across Prayagraj.

Kindly be wary when interacting with your juniors and be very mindful of your language and tone. The administrative body is currently on edge, be it due to the recent protest or a revelation in their hearts. Even a "relatively small issue" or a "playful jab" might end up costing you your future.

Bhai, in incidents ne poore college ki image ki dhajjiyaan uda di hain. Aisa lag raha hai ki administration ko bas jeb bharne aur apni image manage karne se matlab hai. NIRF ranking bhi neeche ja rahi hai har saal. College mein jo ek cheez genuinely strong thi—placements—ab usmein bhi cheating aur manipulation ke allegations saamne aa rahe hain.

Aur administration kar kya raha hai? I recently spoke to an old friend from my undergraduate days. Academically, I was always the more talented one between the two of us. Not bragging, just that I have had opportunity to study one of the best institutions in India. He eventually cleared BPSC and is now working as a Labour Officer.

We were casually talking about our lives and careers when he mentioned that he makes around ₹5 lakh per month from bribes over and above his salary.

I honestly didn't know how to react.

I'm currently pursuing a PhD in Economics. My stipend is ₹47,000 a month, and I've spent years studying, doing research, dealing with the uncertainty of academia, and worrying about what my career will look like after the PhD.

Then I hear someone I knew from college, whom I never considered particularly academically capable, casually saying that he's making ₹5 lakh a month through his government position.

Obviously, I understand that this is illegal and that there are risks involved.

But the conversation still left me with a strange feeling.

For a moment I genuinely wondered: Did I make the wrong career choices?

Is spending 5–6 years pursuing a PhD and trying to build a legitimate academic/research career worth it when people in certain government positions can apparently make multiples of a legitimate professional salary through corruption?

I'm not looking for moral lectures about corruption. I know it's illegal. I'm more interested in hearing from people who have faced similar comparisons in their own careers.

How do you deal psychologically with seeing people you once considered less capable become dramatically more financially successful than you? And how do you know whether you're actually on the right career path?

She fucking cheated. The whole thing was planned. There was no family emergency[I kNow]. She somehow managed to do 3 questions in 20 minutes, even though her CPI is below 8 know nothing can't even make a simple frontend.

Honestly, you were one of the least deserving people to get that internship. If you actually cheated, then you know you didn’t earn it. I can bet you can’t even solve those questions on your own.

And the audacity to say “thank you” 💀. At least have some shame. There are people who genuinely solved 3 questions and still didn’t get selected because they couldn’t finish all 3 in 20 minutes like u. Meanwhile, you’re apparently some genius who finished everything that fast.

Guys, on the day of physical reporting, after reaching the campus, do we first have to go to the hostel to keep our luggage, or do we have to directly go to MP Hall for physical registration??
