Just saw the mova v50 sale… any thoughts?

I’m interested in the mova v50 for a while and just noticed there’s a promotion on Amazon:

Add $10 for the Fresh Pro toothbrush, or $30 for the Turbo hair dryer.

Which bundle makes more sense in terms of value? Has anyone here tried other mova products? Are they actually any good?

navigation problem with Viax 250...

Hi everyone,

I’m having issues with my Viax250 robotic lawn mower robot. As you can see, there’s a paved path with stones in the middle of my garden. It’s not a physical problem for the robot to drive over it... when I control it manually, it crosses without any issues.

However, the robot seems to detect the path as an obstacle and won’t cross it on its own. At the beginning, I was able to carry the robot to the right side of the lawn and unlock it by pressing the OK button twice. It would then orient itself and mow that second area as well.

But now that doesn’t work anymore. When I carry it over, it tries to orient itself but always fails and shows an “orientation failed” message.

Does anyone know what I can do to fix this? Thanks in advance!

Deleted Map - How to Restore Backup

So i made a mistake. I was trying to delete an “area“ that I had previously placed on my map and in doing so I clicked the wrong thing and deleted it entire map.

I made a backup previously but cannot find anyway to restore it. Is there a way?

I haven’t done anything with the vacuum since deleting the map. Maybe I need to let it run a scan and then i’d be able to figure out what to click to restore

Thoughts?

MOVA P50 Pro Ultra

Maybe someone can help.

I own the above mentioned robot and I'm basically very happy with it. But unfortunately it has a problem now.

After the robot couldn't get back onetime to the station and me not at home for some days it startet. Now it can not figure out that both washmops are installed. Always the one without arm extension is recognized the opposite way. If I physically install it, the robot tells me "washmop deinstalled". When I take the mop away the robot tells me "washmop installed". Now it is sweeping the floor with just one mop installed.

And the second thing is, that when the robot tries to get back to the docking station, it extends the part where the mop is installed so it get stuck by the way back into the station.

Anyone an idea what I can do?

Mova P10 Ultra Ignores Schedule

Love my Mova P10 ultra, but the one gripe I have is that it won’t mop on sundays! I have it set to Vacuum Monday, Wednesday, and Friday with a mopping on Sunday. When Sunday comes around, it just decides to vacuum instead. I factory reset it but I’m still having this issue. Anyone else experiencing this?

Please help me out :) Mova V50 Ultra vs Roborock Saros 10R vs ...

Hi all,

Well for the last 3 weeks i've been watching youtube videos, reading posts on reddit, comparing specs on webshops and my final choices are either the Mova V50 Ultra (€735) or Roborock Saros 10R (€933). I'm living in the Netherlands, i'll buy them at a shop here called Coolblue, they've got outstanding service in case there's something wrong with your product. I'm open to suggestions for other bots, price doesn't really matter if there is one that checks all the boxes. This is my home situation and my wishlist:

Home situation:

- I live in a relatively small appartement, 75m2 (+- 800 square feet), almost no tresholds (only to the bathroom and toilet), it's one floor.

- The floor is 95% laminate and in the living room there's 1 small low pile rug that partly goes under the couch

- I've got one kid that's 4 years old and lives with me 50% of the time. No pets.

- There are a few spots with cables on the floor but i try to keep it minimized

- For the next 2 years there will be construction going on next to the building where i live. I've noticed since they've started last month that there is definately more dust on my cupboards and on the floor. Which also triggers my allergy a bit.

Wish list:

- Needs to be able to go under my bed and couch since there's quite a lot of dust collecting there. The max height of the bot can be around 9 centimeters (3,54 inch), maybe it can stretch to 9,5 centimeters (3,74 inch) so it can go under my bed and couch.

- Excellent vacuum capabilities / strength

- Mopping is nice i guess but not the most important (right?) since i've got no pets

- It needs to be trustworthy, like: a good app, good obstacle avoidance, good build quality

- As much self-maintenance as possible, i hate cleaning or managing things lol

- I'll probably move again in the next 2 years to a bigger house, maybe taking that into account as well? (spending less now and buying a new one then, or spending more now so i can use it for the coming years?)

Appreciate all the advice i can get 😄 Thanks!

Best robot under $1500 based on unbiased reviews

What’s the best robot vacuum and mop recommendation for the $1500 price range in the US?

I have 80% laminate floors, but the rooms have thick carpets. I have a dog, a cat, and young kids who make messes after eating.

My current vacuum, the Q Revo Curve, does okay, but it struggles with mopping up food stains and has a flaw with the dust bin bag that clogs the basket, even on high auto-emptying mode. Plus, the maintenance isn’t easy after owning it for a year. I had the roborock my whole life (Q Revo before), and I think it’s time to try something else that can later longer then a year and half.

My biggest concern is getting the floors clean and mopped properly, and ideally, with lower maintenance and good navigation. I’ve been looking at justadad reviews and he has been recommending the Mova in his reviews. However, Reddit seems to think otherwise, so it’s hard to decide what to get from an unbiased opinion, which is what I’m looking for here.

What am I doing wrong?

Just got a MOVA on Mother’s Day and set it up. It’s run at least daily since then but my living room still looks like this (Bernese Mountain Dog). The filter is fine, no clogs I can see, no hair stuck in roller, bag is not full. I set it to max suction and lowest moisture for this room and increased the frequency of emptying. I even ran it on the highest suction that you have to manually add for individual runs. My wood floors look great, no more tumbleweeds, but the carpet is terrible. Any tips?

thoughts on mova?

I've been researching robot vacuums for a while. The V50 checks all my current boxes: price, suction power, low-profile design, and anti-tangle features.

I don't know much about the mova brand though. How is it? What do you guys think of it? Is it legit?

Question about volume..

I don’t know much about robot vacuums but this hissing seems abnormally loud for standard cleaning. Is this normal? Brand new Mova P50 pro ultra

Thanks!

Vacuum and mop neglect areas

My P10 pro ultra regularly neglects single rooms or in the instance of the image, 2/3 of the house. It will get done with whatever area it decides to clean that day, say the task is complete and dock itself.

Z60 is Having Trouble with New Rug

We finally received our area rug for the living room,
the mova has been working well for the last week when it was just the wood floors in the living room. Now, it seems to struggle at the beginning of the cleaning task. There is a strip of wood in front of the rug that is certainly wide enough for the robot to fit through, and a large amount of space to the other side of the dock, but it seems to get stuck up on the corner of the rug instead. Is there any way to force it to start cleaning a different part of the living room first so it can more intelligently handle the rug, i.e. approach from the edge, not a corner? Do I need to remap my apartment?

Mova Mobius 60 - 30 day review

After my quick unboxing of my Mova supplied robot for review, I moved the MOVA Mobius 60 to a more permanent spot and started using it every day to see how it holds up against my other robots. I’ve been comparing it mostly to my Narwal Flow and the MOVA Z60 which are two of my favorite robots I have used to date!

First thing, the dock is huge. There’s no way around that. It takes up a lot more space than a normal robot vacuum dock, so placement matters. That said, once I found a spot for it, I do think it looks pretty nice. It has more of a sleek appearance than others, I like the black a lot.

The dock is also where I have my biggest long-term concern. There is a lot going on inside it. The mop swap system, self-cleaning, tanks, detergent, drying, auto-emptying, and everything else make it impressive, but also more complicated. I do wonder how all of that will hold up over time. For now, though, the base station has been one of the best parts of using it and the day-to-day maintenance has been minimal. Once again, though I am concerned about reliability, if one small thing goes wrong with the dock and may render the whole system useless. More moving parts equals more problems.

Although the mop swap did feel like a gimmick at first, I’ve ended up liking it more than I expected. Being able to use different mop pads with the threshold crossing, it can climb over into the garage, I can have it do a deeper clean out there with separate mop pads instead of dragging all that garage dirt back through the house. That is one of those real-life use cases that makes the mop swap system feel a lot more useful than I first thought.

Compared to my Narwal Flow and MOVA Z60, the Mobius 60 has a noticeably larger dustbin, which I appreciate. The Flow has a very small dustbin. The Z60 also has a small dustbin. The Mobius is better in that area, but it is still a small robot vacuum dustbin, so it fills faster than I would like and the filter still needs to be cleaned very often. I wish the auto empty system was stronger and would keep the filter cleaner longer.

Cleaning speed is another downside. This robot cleans slowly. It is thorough, but it takes its time. This is probably going to be the biggest issue. If you have a large house, the robot will take hours as it has to recharge often and the recharge cycle is quite slow.

Where it really does well is edge and corner cleaning. The extending mop pad and extending side brush are two of my favorite parts. It gets closer into corners and along edges than a lot of other robots I have used.
The retractable lidar is also nice, but does add a long time to cleaning cycles. Since it can lower itself, it fits under furniture that a lot of taller lidar robots would not even attempt. But it only does this after cleaning the majority of the room so it adds about 30 minutes on depending how big your room is.

Another con is Price, it’s very expensive compared to some other bots - it’s on amazon for $1169!!

Navigation has been very good for me. It does not wander around confused, it does not randomly lose itself, and it has been consistent about knowing where it is. Obstacle avoidance has also been fine and compared to a lot of robots, it has handled obstacles really well.

The app has a lot of customization too. You can dial in how you want it to clean, change suction, mop settings, cleaning order, room behavior, and fine tune it depending on what your house needs. I like having that control because every room is different. Some areas need stronger vacuuming, some need more mopping, and some just need a light pass.

For mopping, I have been impressed. It lifts a good amount of dirt off the floor, and the mop pads seem to do more than just lightly drag water around. One thing I have learned from using multiple robots is that vacuuming first and then mopping works much better than doing both at the same time. That has been true for this robot, the Z60, and the Narwal Flow. When it vacuums and mops together, it is convenient, but the end result is better when the floor is vacuumed first and then mopped after.

I was also surprised that it handled high-pile carpet. I did not expect it to do as well there, but it was able to clean it without getting stuck or giving up. The brushes have also stayed tangle-free so far, which is always a plus.

Overall, the MOVA Mobius 60 feels like a very capable robot with a few clear tradeoffs. The dock is big, the system is complex, the dustbin still needs regular filter cleaning, and it cleans slowly. But the actual cleaning performance has been on par. The mopping is good, the edge cleaning is better than most, the retractable lidar helps it get under more furniture, the obstacle avoidance works well, and the dock does a lot of the daily maintenance for you!

I would not hesitate to recommend this robot to a friend or family member, something that cannot be said about all the robots I’ve used in the past!

Mova P10 runs cleaning cycles on loop

My robot worked fine at first but now it's running up. CleanGenius which takes about an hour and a half and then it just runs it again as if it never ran it?

Thinking about upgrading my robot vacuum — anyone have experience with the MOVA V70?

I’ve personally been using a MOVA Z60 in my own apartment, and I bought a Dreame L40 AE for my parents a while ago.

Now I’m considering replacing the L40 with the new MOVA V70, mainly because the extendable mop + side brush actually looks genuinely useful for edge/corner cleaning.

From what I can see, the V70 is launching on May 13, and some YouTubers already have early review videos up. Curious what people here think — is this actually a meaningful upgrade over the L40 / current Roborock/Dreame flagships, or just launch hype?

Mova V50 Ultra Hot Water

Hi all.

Have been having battery drain issues, BUT also just discovered that after mop washing the mops are completely COLD, NOT even a fraction warm.

How can I check that my mova V50 is actually heating the water?

I have high temp settings on. I did have Smart Mop Washing turned on with High Temp Water set, but i have cold mops?

I've just turned Smart Mop Washing off, left high temp on. Is the this why it wasn't working?
