Custom Headlights

Finally finished a little project I was working on and felt like I needed to show it off. Made some LED headlights for the frog with some Hela projectors and some off the shelf LED rings. Will maybe make a more detailed post about the process over the weekend but here’s some pics!

Reupholstering seats. '03 MR2 Spyder

Hey guys..... back again. There isn't too much great documentation on putting new skins on the seats of a face lift MR2.

I was wondering if someone has done this and how i would go about removing the back of the seat from the frame rail. The seat portion was very very easy. The two 14mm bolts were the only thing I could see that is holding the back of the seat to the frame rails. The backs are still attached to what appears to be a bar going across and under the fabric. (I wasn't sure if this is a part of the frame or if I would need to remove the seat covers to physically remove the back of the seat?)

I'll have photos when I get home from work. I know just my words are probably 3/10 for clarity. Thanks in advance.

01 mr2 spyder soft brake pedal

Hello boys! I recently removed my calipers for painting and let the brake system run dry.

After doing a complete bleed on my brakes, and changing the front callipers to Prius callipers, and complete ferrodo pads all around, i thought my persistent problem of the brake pedal feeling soft and needing to bottom it out to brake fully/activate the ABS would disappear.

Well, it didn’t.

So the symptoms are:

-The brake pedal feels soft, and needs full travel to try to lock-up/activate ABS (i’m looking for that hard/stiff pedal feel, where pressure dictates how much brake you are applying)

-if i pump the brake with the car off and hold it, the pedal doesn’t go down

-if i prime/pump the pedal with the car running, it gets stiff, but after breaking once the softness/long travel returns

-i can activate the abs by breaking hard, but there is still some wheel locking (not sure if the ABS is not very intrusive or the ABS is acting weird)

Can someone help me out with this before i fire the parts cannon and leave the car on stands for weeks? Thanks everyone
