MSFS seems completely broken for me in Career Mode. My Thrustmaster HOTAS 4 doesn’t work properly, and sometimes none of my controls seem to respond at all. The strange thing is that it seems to be specifically happening in Career Mode.
I’ve checked the control settings and the HOTAS is recognised, but once I’m actually in a Career flight the inputs either don’t work or behave strangely.
Has anyone else on PS5 had the same issue with the HOTAS 4 or other controllers? If so, did you manage to fix it, or is this just a current MSFS bug?
Any help would be appreciated.

My current setup is a HOTAS + mouse and keyboard, and I really like flying this way. I use the HOTAS for the actual flying, while the mouse makes it easy to interact with the G1000, cockpit switches, autopilot, etc., and the keyboard gives me extra shortcuts.

For those flying MSFS with PSVR2:

- Can you comfortably use a HOTAS + mouse + keyboard while in VR?
- Is using the mouse to interact with cockpit controls intuitive when you can't see your actual mouse/keyboard?
- Do you find yourself needing the DualSense/VR controllers often?
- How readable are the G1000 and other cockpit displays?
- How is the image quality and performance compared with playing normally on a 4K TV?
- Is VR something you use for most flights, or more of an occasional experience?
- Any issues with longer 1–3 hour flights?

The other thing making me hesitate is that I've never actually experienced PSVR2 or VR in MSFS before. It's currently sold out at the stores around me, so I'd most likely have to buy one through a third-party marketplace. That means I probably wouldn't have the option of simply returning it if VR isn't for me.

Ive just started my own passenger transport company. I want to ask what aircraft should I start off with working my way up to A330?

Ive seen a couple thats starts off 30 passenger/ 34 passenger. Should i just start with those ?

Hello ! I have been following the procedure correctly but my AP on the ATR 42 and 72 keep on disengaging.. Even with the new native version that just dropped

Anyone else with game unplayable in ps5? After each mission I either have to restart the ps5 or something cause the game keeps freezing. Using ps5 almost 1gb fiber connection.

Me too, so I created this post on the official wishlist, my request is simple:

>Sort aircraft based on last used time, so that recent aircraft can be easily selected on the “Change aircraft” selection screen.

One of the main problems with msfs career mode is the bug where you land and the mission steps are not completing. If you have a VFR mission, go to your EFB, go to the flight details(third menu on the side bar) and change the flight from IFR to VFR since IFR is automatically selected for you. Before you continue ensure to send the flight plan to ATC. When you're flying there won't be any waypoints just so you know. When you do this you can even announce your landing on final when your approaching the runway.

Things to know about this

1. On approach there will be no traffic pattern

2. There are no waypoints

3. Ensure you pass final on landing and land on the right runway.

I've done this twice so far on two 3 hour flights on the CJ4. I hope this helps anyone having this problem

I just need to vent because this is incredibly frustrating.

I completed a 9-hour A320 flight from Europe to the US in Career Mode.
Full flight flown normally.
Proper climb, cruise and descent.
Smooth landing.
Vacated the runway correctly.
Followed the taxi instructions exactly as the game directed me.
I did not cut across grass.
I did not leave the taxiway.
I did not hit anything.
Everything was going perfectly.
The mission was worth about 17 million credits.
The only thing I did was use the advance taxi phase option because I was running out of real-life time.
And yes, before people say it:
I already know everyone is going to tell me not to skip phases.
But honestly, if the option exists in the game, it should be reliable enough to use. Otherwise it shouldn’t be there in the first place.
A few seconds later:
“Aircraft crashed.”
Mission failed.
No actual crash.
No damage.
No collision.
No runway excursion.
Just 9 hours of flying gone and 17 million credits lost.
I can accept failing because of my own mistakes.
What I struggle to accept is losing a mission because of a game feature that appears to break the mission itself.
Has anyone else had Career Mode randomly fail a mission after landing and taxiing correctly?

UPDATE: the issue was resolved by restarting the whole console. (It was probably used for too long in Rest mode ;-)) After the restart HOtAS4 works as intended.

Today I tried to test my HOTAS4 in the SU6 final version.

Having read I need to delete the previous HOTAS4 profiles I deleted all my custom profiles under the HOTAS4 settings.

All the buttons (R1,R2,R3,L1,L2,L3,X,O,triangle, square) and the POV Hat stick are now working except Throlle, Main Stick x/y axes, Rudder axis. So I can control the UI but can’t operate any plane!

I also noticed there are always shown some events coming fromthe HOTAS4 in the realtime monitor part and if I go to “configure hardware” screen I can’t see any reaction in the line graphs when moving stick, rudder or trhrottle.

Any ideas? Do I really need to delete all the profiles? (Including other controllers) Or is the SU6 HOTAS4 support really broken?

The grind is going extremely slow in the Light Cargo missions. I want to buy the PC-12 but out of the $7+ mil it costs to buy new, I've only got $2.5Mil. If I buy the PC 24 with real world money (about $20 USD), it says that I will also have to pay career points. How much will I have to pay? Is it even worth it?

PS5, worked fine till the new update, now I get a phantom inputs “toe break L” and R, and controls don’t work at all, Help
