First service done! Break in period is almost over.
Just finished my first service and chain clean plus adjustment. Decided to go with full synthetic oil and all things considered, it was pretty easy to service.
God, I love this bike.

I have been on a highway a few times and after 40 minutes it gets a bit annoying when going around 120-130 kmh, I know thats kind of what you sign up for on a naked bike but
I was wondering if the puig naked new generation windshield actually makes any noticeable difference
Anyone has any luck finding the colour code for the red 2016 mt03? She’s an oldie but a goodie, have decided I want to match the mudguard to the metallic cherry red tank
Been hunting and found what I thought was the colour code on a white sticker but wasn’t helpful in my search.
She’s my first bike :))
Hi all!
I picked up a used 2024 MT03 yesterday with about 1900 miles and on my way home I realized that my turn signals weren’t indicating. After stopping the bike my turn signal lights are just on (constant orange). When I hit the turn signals it won’t show on my dash and when I hit the hazards buttons that also won’t show up on the dash or change the constant lighting as-well. I just wanted to know if this was a quick fix? I’ve ready that it could be a fuse but this is my very first bike and I’m a noob rider. Any and every advice is welcomed.
Posted pic for attention! (Mods if this isn’t allowed feel free to take this post down)
Hi all, as titles suggests,
I'm debating between Hindle megaphone full system or Hindle slip on.
When it comes to full systems, would I need an ECU flash or Dyno tune?
And yes I know, I should put the exhaust money into another bigger bike but I am currently still learning on my 2023 MT03 and want a loud exhaust so cars won't blindly turn into me.
A thin layer of oil is leaking from under the front sprocket cover of my MT3. Why does it do this?
I recently picked up a 2020 MT03 that had 250 miles on it. When I first got it, I didn't even consider that it is still in its break in period.
I was planning on doing its first maintenance at 600 miles but am wondering if I should be doing it now given the age of the bike.
Should I be doing the changes for brake fluid, oil and air filter now? Is it better to take it in to a dealer for servicing given that it's for its first maintenance?
Hi all,
I recently picked up TST Frame sliders and I was seeing posts about how it can damage your engine since it uses the mount points.
I do want to put it on because I wanna practice low speed maneuvers but I don't want the risk of damaging my engine
What are y'all thoughts on frame sliders?
Hello everyone,
Recently got really interested in cargo options for my 2020 MT03. I have a tank bag and a tail bag currently. Wondering if anyone has experience with tail racks or saddle bags with supports. Would kind of like to be able to use my passenger seat.
I tried soft saddles but without the support they lean on my blinkers and bend them since I installed a tail tuck.
Also just looking for cool functional mods (ie hand guards)!
If you have any ideas or any experience please provide pictures and links!
Thank you in advance!
I change the relay but it is still occur
I left the house to go to the market 2 miles away, and somehow ended up riding 22 miles instead. So far, I’m loving it as a new rider on a new bike.
Small victories I guess, but first 100 miles on my first bike as a newbies. 😌
I figured it deserves an upgrade, so new ASV clutch and brake lever installed by yours truly with watchful eye of my homegirl from our window 😆
For anyone who changed their front sprocket on a 2020+ MT03 recently what's the exact size socket for the nut?
I've seen 29mm, 30mm, and 1 1/8".
29 mm - https://www.r3-forums.com/threads/415-chain-and-sprockets.86922/ "Started my conversion tonight and realized I don't have a 29mm socket"
1 1/8" - https://www.r3-forums.com/threads/front-sprocket-nut-torque.127210/?post_id=490930&nested_view=1#post-490930 "the nut is 29.5mm measured with verneir calipers. so its an imperial nut so the correct size IS 1-1/8 Socket "
Google says it's 30 mm.
Partzilla has the part but doesn't list the size (part # 90179-20013-00) https://www.partzilla.com/catalog/yamaha/motorcycle/2022/mt03-mt03ngy-b5wd0/transmission
Hey everyone!!
I’m getting my motorcycle learners permit and was wondering if I should get the MT-03? Just wondering if you could give me some pros and cons? And maybe any other bike options that may be better?
Thanks!
EDIT: I’m only 5’1 so height is a concern for me and it’s gotta be LAMS approved (MT-03 is)
Need a bit of advice as to what to do next. I was going around a corner and had a bit too much speed, this resulted in myself going straight into a gutter 🤦♂️. Luckily I was unharmed and managed to keep the bike upright through the whole ordeal. The damage to the bike consists of a dented front rim (I have bought a new rim and tyre as the structural integrity of the tire would be gone). As you can see in the pictures though the front right fork has an ever so slight bend in it. Just looking for general thoughts on what to do next. Another issue is my handlebar is slightly bent out of place due to the force of me pushing into it. I don’t want to buy a new handlebar nor do I see it necessary, looking for advice on how to straighten that back up. Thanks in advance, new rider, even newer at fixing bikes, any advice helps.
Edit: Bike is a 2019 MT-03, if new parts are needed please let me know where to get them (Live in Australia)
Sold my Honda Hornet 750 (which was a great bike) in Australia. Once in Guadalajara, Mexico I needed something lighter, more nimble but with enough power to be great fun. Traffic here is thick and nuts. So here's my 2026 MT-03, love it too!!!!!
Ride easy guys and girls!!!
