600 mile maintenance
Gonna be honest I didn’t check my oil for about a month and I hit my 600 mile maintenance and checked my oil and I have no oil. Is that normal?

There is a seller on FB market place that is selling their MT03 2022 model. I really like the MT models but the thing is the 2022 one does not have the Assist and Slipper Clutch is it still worth it? He's asking 2/3 of the price brand new.
I got this bike a few months ago, not loving the blue like I thought I would, it looks painted. What is the best course to paint or wrap it back to black? Has anyone had better experiences with one over the other?
Hit a bump on the highway yesterday, and now the side is not matching. I took the Bike apart so I could inspect everything got shifted out of place, vented up into the frame a little bit, and shredded the chain puller and end cap. Test fit with the one good side; everything still fits properly. I might have to flatten it out and do a little bit of bodywork eventually, but now I can deal with that later. I just need to get the bike up and running cause it’s a daily, but the other side still fits in the damaged side, so everything still fits properly as it should. I’m just gonna have to reassemble it when the parts come in.
Edits: fixed some grammar issues
Our group held a bike night a week ago and here’s a quick shot of my bikes before everyone showed up.
I wanted to add a yellow vinyl film. So I ran a test and it looked cool. So I peeled the film off and proceeded to clean it with rubbing alcohol so I could properly add the film. As soon as the alcohol touched the projector lens (it wasn't hot at all, I had eaten lunch before restarting project) it cracked the lens. And continued to spider out.
I looked it up later and found out that it's a big no-no on projector beams made out of plastic (I thought it was glass).
The beam part is not available separately so brand new, it's a $1000 part. The headlight is still functional. But it is an expensive lesson learned.
Not much performance mods mostly visual, second year owner, bought second hand
Mod list:
25mm handle bar risers (without this higher seat feels like sport bike)
30mm higher seat (I”m 6feet or 183sm tall)
RCB aftermarket grips (had to buy because wasted stock one by trying to remove to install R6 throttle tube)
R6 throttle tube (no more regrips during acceleration)
Aftermarket levers and mirrors (stock mirror sucks levers are just because of adjustment not critical)
Chigee xr-2 system with rear and front camera (insurance purposes)
Stock Horn delete and relocated Hella horn (stock horn sucks now it sounds like a car)
Windscreen (no real effect, have a bigger one that works attaching to handlebars but it’s ugly)
Radiator guard and axle guards (first things that I bought)
Crash-bar install and mounted fog light on it (second things that I bought)
Sena disk lock with alarm (we have many curious citizens here where I live)
Yoshimura R77 but from Yamaha USA for Yamaha R3 (alternate name Yoshimura Y-series) slip on (by far the most expensive and useless thing that I bought, before Yoshimura I had Coffman’s shorty - too loud in high rpm, after many dollars spent understood that this engine cannot sound good on high rev’s)
Exhaust guard (had to buy because of expensive slip-on)
Next in line upgrades are Tires next year I think (front has 2mm rear has 3mm of tread depth left)
Thinking will buy Michelin Road 6s
front 110/70/zr17
Rear 150/60/zr17 or 140/70/r17 not sure
I'm going to be doing some light touring in a few weeks on my MT-03 and was curious if anyone has done anything to theirs to make it better for long rides. Besides a windscreen, I don't mind the wind hitting me.
This will be the first time I'm going on a trip on a bike this small, so it's just got me wondering if I am overlooking something.
Still love it. 3380mi on it since march. rear was shot, went to road 6's. scrubbing em in.
i daily a 2025 Ninja 650 and im tellin ya, this thing has a lotta personality and i simply love throwing it around!
These look amazing, and weren't difficult to apply. I'm waiting the 12 hour requisite time to cure before taking it on the road, can't wait! I was trying to decide between the Snake Skin and SL2. I opted for the thinner, grippier, more durable option (SL2). They included a keychain made from Snake Skin, so I could compare. I think I made the right choice. When applying on contours, it helped to pull and stretch it to avoid wrinkles, I don't think the Snake version is that flexible. Besides, I don't want a wider tank!
Hey there, im riding a MT-03 2019 - My hight is 1.49 & I'd like to get my feet more planted on the ground while I am learning and building a confidence. im considering buying a seat with a shorter height but can't seem to find many options - anyone have suggestions?
I found a post about suggestions on this one :
I know it's for a r3 but someone said it fit well for him, how can I know if it's gonna fit for sure?
Hi, I'm still in the break-in period for my bike (only got about 50 miles on it so far) so I've been keeping the rpms under 5000 as instructed, only going above to upshift. The fastest I go is down one road at 35 mph and I shift up to 5th so my rpms are around 3-4000 as i cruise.
In about a week I need to make a trip to another town for work and even the back road I was looking to take has a speed limit of 55. I'm struggling to understand the difference between 5th and 6th gear. Will shifting into 6th really give me that much more rpms to be able to go at speed?
I posted here about a minor scratch on my motorcycle awhile bike, had decided to order replacement parts for it

today I slammed into a deer going 60-65, was not a fun experience at all, thought I was gonna have broke bones or worse, luckily my protective gear saved me alot, same with my helmet, only part that I didnt have was pants.

Ended up with some scrapes and scratches with the worst being a big scrape on my right leg.

I thought the bike was ruined but turns out shes pretty okay too, same minor damage that I can probably easily fix

just thought id make a post and share my experience and why I HIGHLY SUGGEST ALL RIDERS WEAR PROTECTIVE GEAR, that shit was no joke and probably one of the most eye opening experiences of my life

Also fuck that deer, I was behind a car and it somehow missed the car infront and ended up getting hit by me : (
I come from torque heavy big cruisers so I'm adjusting to my MT-03 revver. I find myself cruising usually around 50 mph and seem to like 5th gear best. That is still rather low on the tach numerically but I have no experience as to what is optimal for a sportier 321cc bike.
Where does everyone like the revs to sit to balance the need, or want, for a quick acceleration and lively ride?
