2022 MT07 with 9500 miles agreed price of $5900 with a quad lock and seal skin cover. Tires seem good ( haven’t seen in person yet ) supposedly the oil was changed in February fluid for brakes and coolant also no cosmetic damage that I see looks good there. Cheap Dewinston ( Amazon slip on ) on the bike bring the bike to me but is giving a cold start later today via video. Claims he’s selling it because he’s joining the army and wants to sell before July 28th. Clean vin and title no liens no funny title. He’s the 2nd owner got it with 6100 miles now has 9450 miles. Only thing I’ve seen so far is the exhaust Slip-on is cheap and some slight rust on the chain and sprockets a bit worn other then that seems good please help me out

So basically the bike has been slipping/jumping in 2nd gear only

I’ve notice it usually happens when the bike is tipped over but it still does happen when straight

Clutch plates have been replaced but the issue still persists

Bike mileage is about 32,000Km

Any ideas what could cause this?

Just changed the air filter on my MT09 Tracer and It now sounds like this. Is this normal, should I be concerned? There wasn't any noise before, but the old filter looked terrible, filled with dirt.

Well it never really stops here (Gwynedd). I was over in my other home in Shrewsbury, the single carriageway part of the A5 at Montford Bridge had a slow procession of them, refusing to move to the left to let me get past. Now I used to tow a caravan and never drove like that - I’d always pull slightly to the left so faster traffic could overtake safely. TFMs… total fucking morons. And the dualled bit of the A5, more fucking caravans, tractors with slurry tankers, milk wagons, bloody horse boxes… ugh.

If you could drop an image and few words why you went with that helmet?

Few days back, I’ve got myself AGV K6 S in Nardo Grey and I love it so far. Looks great, feels great. Drawbacks: slightly difficult to put on.

I’ve picked it up over RF-1400 (NXR2) due to helmet looks (even though NXR2 has slightly better quality and looks slightly smaller on the head) and fit.

They didn’t had Dark Smoke visor in store so I went with Iridium Blue and the combo looks nice.

Helmet is light but honestly I never had issue with my weighty Shark Spartan GT Pro before.

After some ADV bikes in recent years, finally took the leap to the naked category - the one I always enjoyed. Never back to ADVs.

Cannot wait to finish with the break in period.

What an absolute blast of a machine!

1. cold starts are fine everything runs great but after a quick ride when I turn off the bike and lets say go drink a coffe for 45min to 1hr enough for it to cool down but stay warm so its not a cold start I hear a ticking noise that lasts only about 10sec (video I posted is recorded immediately after warm start up and at the end u can hear the sound go away)

2. Every time I shift into 3rd gear I hear a whining noise almost like a supercharger noise but way more quiet and first I thought it was the stock exhaust but yesterday i got akrapovič for it and I still hear it

if anyone can answer my questions or had similar situations let me know I would appreciate the help

Joined the MT-09 club.

An amazing motorcycle. The difference compared to the XSR700 is like night and day. It has so much more power, and it’s much smoother to ride.

So far, the only minor downside is the self-canceling turn signal switch. It takes a little while to get used to it. I often find that I’ve pressed it too lightly, so it only flashes three times instead of staying on.
