How does the paid lifetime version of MacWhisper compare to the superior punctuation and transcription support I see in Wispr flow?

I have noticed that when I have MacWhisper open, I am losing some functionality with Rectangle Pro. Rectangle Pro has a feature called 'Snap Panel' where you can drag a window and resize it to another part of the screen. This doesn't work when MacWhisper is open, but starts working again when I close it. The other keyboard shortcuts on Rectangle Pro work just fine with MacWhisper open. Has anyone else observed this issue?

I'm struggling with this feature.

Essentially, whenever teams does something, like I switch to it to chat or I get a notification, the little Record alert pops up and takes over the focus.

I then lose the ability to type for that period of time, or I have to click back into the window I was just in to 'fix' the focus being taken.

It also seems that the only way to record teams is to have the meeting notifications active. As the shortcut tells you, recording meetings is not set up.

Does anyone have a fix or a workaround for this? I'd like to record, but not have the notification)

I have the Send to Obsidian functionality working, but what gets sent is just the raw transcript without the Speaker diarization. When I look at the Export View, it is showing that is what should be being sent, assuming that is how it works. Has anyone gotten this to work correctly? Trying to figure out if it is a bug or I am missing a setting.

I’ve see a decent amount of posts with no dev responses. Have they taken a break or abandoned the reddit? I haven’t heard anything, but no involvement recently seems kind of sus.

I checked MacWhisper for updates this morning and got this message:

Whisper Transcription Pro 13.21.2 - haven't had any issues with this until this version. But now I cannot get transcription of recorded audio files past 99% using Parakeet v3 (local). Any help / suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I tend to get a lot of duplication from other speakers being counted as my microphone audio in addition to the actual speaker.

Is there something to tweak to fix this?

I thought maybe this might be a spot, but doesn't exactly feel right. And the Enable Echo Cancellation is only available when using CoreAudio.
