This is insane..... Me and my friends are in week 8 in our FIRST season, and literally half of the starters in the league have been traded. Josh Allen has been traded 3 times by the CPU.....

Wtf is going on....

I really hope they address this in a future patch. The lagginess during play selection really takes me out of the game. I don’t understand how the actual gameplay can be smooth, but the menus are still a mess. Come on EA…

For years I had played on the PlayStation, and this year I thought I’d switch it up and play on the switch. This is going to be an annoying observation but I can’t help but notice that the auction house is awfully sparse. Is this because of lower participation numbers on switch 2 versus other consoles or because such a high percentage of cards given as rewards this year are BND?

Thought I would share my thoughts in case it helps others. I'm also curious to hear what everyone else thinks and if there are any adjustments to be made to visual settings that I don't know about. This isn't my review of the game itself, just experiences with the Switch version.

My background: I've played Madden for years and generally on the Series X. I'm away from home 6 months of the year and prefer to take just my switch 2. I play mostly docked. I bought and returned Madden 26 last year because I found it abysmal.

These comments are based on the docked version in performance mode.

Improvements - They nailed the two most important things

1. Gameplay: now runs smoothly.
2. H2H online: last year was so laggy for me I couldn't play at all. I just played one game and it was fine.

Tradeoffs

1. Visuals are way down. Looks very grainy, and lots of random defects. Sometimes I laugh because I see things that are so silly. Sometimes you can't read jerseys, I see weird random blurry halos, goal posts can look transparent.
2. Play selection is laggy, probably my biggest complaint. It gets tiresome.
3. Between plays the visuals are very clunky (I expected that honestly)

EDIT: I have now turned off HDR completely and it made a massively positive impact on image quality. Previously I turned both my Switch 2 and LG QNED television to "Limited RGB." This made the image less washed out, but HDR turned off completely gave me the best visual result. Maybe HDR is a possible future patch

I expected some tradeoffs, and didn't expect this game to be as good as Xbox/PS5. However, I would still say I FEEL the downgrade, and it doesn't feel like a seamless natural experience while playing it because of the flaws. It still feels a bit "broken," even if the gameplay is smooth. I couldn't wait to have my hands on it, since I love Madden and wanted to have the switch version for traveling. I'd probably recommend waiting and grabbing on sale as a second version....Can it be made better than this? I'm not sure, honestly.

If ya get high lvl cards that aren’t BND sell it as high as possible new better cards are coming out & very fast we kick things off today with ultimate legends at 10AM Eastern Time one thing I learned over the years is that coins is king (unless you use real $)

Hi I’m a madden player who’s usually bought it on Xbox/ps5 over the years, but this year I’m liking the idea of the switch 2 version to be able to play wherever I like. So question is “Honestly, is it worth the price tag?”

Just a heads up for Switch 2 users, I did NOT pre-order Madden and just went to go buy Madden, and it shows 30% off. Just bought it for $48.99.

I had Madden 26 so perhaps it's a sale for certain people who had last year's Madden but did not pre-order 27.

Every player has the Nigerian sticker on their helmet. This was a problem for most of last year too.
