it has amazing stealth, freedom of choice in combat, animation, fluidity, sound effects, brutality, that all adds together so well.
I'm doing my fourth playthrough, now that the remaster is out, this time on Xbox Series X, and it's still amazing. Love the story, the characters, the setting (I love NOLA IRL), the "empire" building, the documentary sequences, the DLC chapters. I'll probably do another playthrough sometime next year, after I've played a bunch of GTA 6, this time on PC, to see how the changes effected the PC version. But I have to say, so far, the remaster looks PHENOMENAL. It was always a great looking game, all the Mafias always were for their time, but I find the game to be even more beautiful now and the gameplay improvements they've done have certainly made the game even more worth going back to.
Also, a random sidenote, knowing what we know now about GTA 6 from journalist/creator previews/interviews, can't help but to notice a lot of features from Mafia 3 are going to be appearing in GTA 6 as new features for the GTA series. Hangar 13/2K have no relation to Rockstar whatsoever, besides a shared parent company (TakeTwo), and I did find some information about developers from both companies working together on each others projects in the past, but idk how credible that is. Just interesting.

I swear I played this games a lot of times, and I love to travel around the Bayou, but I never seen this before. Honestly.
Since the new update came out I’ve been thinking about doing one more playthrough but wanted to hear y’all’s thoughts first.
He has many cutscenes of interviewing before a board of congress members in the game. He continually says “Lincoln killed them,” and “Lincoln took over that criminal enterprise.”
I know he was being assisted by the CIA in these activities, but could any of this have caught up with Lincoln after the fact. Donovan seemed pretty rogue during the game and may not have been 100% sanctioned.
In the event of the good ending for Lincoln, or the take over the city option, couldn’t this blow back on him?
Also if you consider it doesnt matter if lincoln died from choosing the greediest option it doesnt really matter because they cant convict a dead man. This might imply he chose that route and it doesn’t really matter because, well, he’s dead.

Broo i remember blindly downloading this game in late November two years ago and i turned off the lights and it was stormy outside and enjoyed the peak winter atmosphere as Dean Martin's "Let it Snow" played in Empire Bay. I'm planning on downloading Mafia I rn and I want to ask: Is there any point in the story that has this incredible cozy atmosphere with the vintage look and the great jazz songs?
I've been wanting to try it and it seems to keep going to $29.99 multiple times. Do you think it'll drop any lower at Black Friday? And is there any reason to get the Definitive Edition over the Standard?

I've never played the game. I just got to the part where Vito comes back to empire bay. I've been getting some strong Christmas vibes. Should I wait until at least November to play it. I Just want to enjoy it as much as I can
Yes it's 2026 and I'm playing mafia III for first time.
( I've played the games in reverse order for some reason). When I started playing I thought it was a snooze fest, heck even a drag. I didn't like the songs and I didn't like the repetive missions, I also missed playing as an actual mafia guy. But somewhere around the 10 hour mark it's like a flip switched I fell in love with the songs ,I would start singing wonderful world to myself randomly and I would I would let the menu intro play cuz it was badass.
I started experimenting with stealth,the knives and I would play it like it was assassin's creed. I started completing every mission on the district even tho I had unlocked the main racket boss. But what started annoying me was the bugs ,whenever you killed a racket boss Lincoln would turn into John Cena for some reason which was annoying. And here's the worst one , I got 40 hours into the game around the Olivia marcano part and for some reason when ik in the gardens the game wouldn't load. I tried deleting the latest save file and that still didn't work then I accidentally deleted the entire game ,losing all those hours playing as the hunk we call Lincoln.
Now I'm too scared to play this game aswell but at the same time I'm getting fomo for not playing it.
ts is fucking hard in hard mode, i kept losing lost a lot if money....
please tell me is there a way?
