What was Tino’s problem with Enzo?

I get it stemmed from Enzo being an outside but why couldn’t he get past it even when the Don started to favor him? Not criticizing the game just saying I actually do kinda need it spelled out for me 😅

Mafia 3 is it that bad

Mafia 1 and 2 are two of my favorites game. But I never played Mafia 3 .And I heard so many bad things about it . Why people hate it so much ? And is it worth trying or not

reddit.com

Remember when many people called Mafia 3 trash, mid etc? It blows these out the water. Gamers were spoiled back then. Mafia 3 is fantastic.

A lot of modern games have forced me to reflect on the PS4/One era. We had it so good in comparison to today. Mafia 3's world design, atmosphere and driving were top tier. Especially compared to the garbage featured in the image. It's biggest and only significant drawback was just the mission design. Apart from that the gameplay was good. Driving, shooting, movement were good. Map was amazing. Story was pretty cool too, basically you're the punisher. Not the Mafia game ppl wanted but it was a cool concept. I just wish they followed R*'s formula for mission design instead of Ubisofts formula. Or even the linear design of Mafia 2.

I hope we get another ambitious Mafia game like Mafia 3 with better mission design and open world formula. I hope the reaction from some gamers didn't discourage them from making more games like this.

Ok buddy sure

"force DEI speech policing" how is that even worth mentioning or effecting a series about mafia lmao 💔 even so, how is DEI even a bad thing, we literally play as the marginalized minority in every single entry

Tips for maximizing grow house profit?

So I’ve got a fully maxed grow house with a strain that’s also maxed on everything. I’ve heard of people bringing in ~$60k per sale, but I’m hard stuck at roughly $32k. Again, all stats are maxed. I understand that demand and other factors are completely random, but I’ve been maxed for a while and haven’t sold for more than 30-something. The max in my sale range is $56k. How do I reach that number??

I played Mafia DE and loved it but really didnt like Mafia 2

Mafia 1 felt like a such Good linear experience and everything about it felt awsome all charachters are so well written.

Mafia 2 was so boring.Vito felt like a nothing charachter And everyone else was unmemorable(apart from Joe),I wanted to love it bcs everyone in my childhood played this game apart from me so it felt like a cult classic before startning it.After playing it this game feels so bloated and the car sections ARE SO BORING.The whole story is just bad and everything just felt Cheap.

I wanted to love this game but ended up hating it.

I assigned every district to Vitto, but...

...Cassandra did not turn on me.

Burke did and I had to deal with him. Talking to Nicky was the hardest part.

As this was my first time assigning every district to one same Lieutenant, I have no clue why Burke turned on me, but Cassandra didn't.

Any insights?

When I die, I’d like a tally of how many times I’ve killed the gun-shop owner

Particularly the one featured in the demo since he’s *by far* the one I killed the most. But in mine and my friend’s head-canon, they’re all (somehow) the same guy. I’d have to guess that it’s several thousand.

I’d also like to see how many times he’s gotten revenge on me lol

How many gun-shop owners do you think you’ve killed through the years?

New roles for Mafia! Credit for Google Gemini for the help and myself

  • Bodyguard: Protects one player each night. If the Mafia attacks that player, the Bodyguard dies instead, sacrificing themselves to save the target.
  • Friend: Can choose to sleep at another player’s house each night. If the Mafia attacks the Friend's empty home, the attack fails. If the Mafia attacks the house they are visiting, the Friend dies with the host.
  • Locksmith: Places a lock on a player's door for infinite protection against the Mafia. However, there is a 1-in-5 (20%) chance the lock fails, and they do not know if it failed until morning.
  • Nocturnal: Stays awake at night. They have a 1-in-3 (33%) chance to successfully wake up, allowing them to secretly intercept Mafia chat logs or gain immunity to roleblocks but it won't show who the mafia is.
  • Slateskin: Can activate their "Slate Armor" up to 3 times per game. While active, they are completely immune to Mafia attacks for that night.
  • Uno reverse: If the Mafia tries to kill this while he used his one use ability player, the Mafia is killed instead.
  • Guardian Angel: if killed or not can protect anyone but not themselves can't protect the same person in a row
  • 👀 Peeping Tom
  • The Concept: Spies on a house from the outside.
  • The Mechanics: They target one player each night. They don't enter the house (so the Social Exclusioner can't kick them out). Instead, they learn exactly how many people entered that house that night.
  • Why it’s fun: If they spy on a house and see two people enter, they know a Friend, Squatter, or Mafia killer visited.
  • ⚖️ Prosecutor (Town)
  • The Power: When voting during the daytime trial phase, their vote counts as 2 votes instead of one.
  • Strategic Detail: To maximize the strategy, you can decide if their double-vote is public (everyone sees the tally jump by two) or secret (the extra vote is quietly added to the final count, confusing the Mafia).
  • Shopkeeper: Stays awake right after voting to earn 1 Gold Coin per day. Can buy gadgets to clear Town Disadvantages or purchase high-tier armor. ⚙️ The Shop Inventory (Minor Advantages)
  • Flashlight (Cost: 1 Gold): Negates the Poor Eyesight disadvantage for one night, making targeting 100% accurate.
  • Megaphone (Cost: 1 Gold): Allows a Mute player to send exactly one text message to the public chat during the next day.
  • Hearing Aid (Cost: 2 Gold): Cures the Deaf disadvantage, allowing the player to see all chat messages again.
  • Smelling Salts (Cost: 5 Gold): Instantly wakes a player up from a Coma, allowing them to chat and use actions again.
  • Text to Speech Device (Cost: 4 Gold) Fixes the mute persons problem and is able to chat again.
  • Stab-Proof jacket: Protects against the 66.67% knife chance; fails against guns.
  • Bullet-Proof vest: Protects against the 66.67% gun chance; fails against knives.
  • Any town member can donate these gaining a reward of 3 coins or even a rare role change (town) including anti hero

⚖️ Neutral Faction (Independent)

  • Anti-Hero: Starts as a Neutral lone wolf with an independent goal. Once they fulfill their trigger condition (e.g., surviving until Night 4 they transform into a loyal Town member.
  • Squatter: Sneaks into any player's house they want each night. They win by surviving, but they inherit the risks of their host—if the host is investigated or attacked, the Squatter is caught in the crossfire.
  • 🚪 Social Exclusioner
  • The Power: Any non-lethal visitor (like the Friend, Squatter, or a Cop) is instantly kicked out and has their night action blocked.
  • The Vulnerability: Their defense does not work against deadly attacks. If a Mafia killer targets them, the action does not fail, and the Social Exclusioner dies.
  • The Win Condition: They must survive until the very end of the game to win**.**
  • 🏚️ The Landlord
  • The Power: Each night, they "condemn" one player's house. Anyone staying there (the Host, a Friend, Squatter, and cop) is evicted and forced out into the street.
  • The Win Condition: They win if they successfully force 6 people out of their homes before the game ends. (Tip: Catching a Friend or Squatter visiting someone counts as 2 evictions in one night!)

🤠 Vigilante

  • The Power: Attacks one player each night to attempt a kill.
  • The Win Condition: Must successfully attack the Mafia 6 times to win the game.
  • The Fail Conditions: They instantly lose or fail if they are:
    • Voted out (lynched) during the day.
    • Killed at night (by Mafia or other hazards).
    • Caught or investigated by a Cop, Peeping Tom, or Detective.
  • Strategic Detail: Since they fail if a Peeping Tom spies on their target, or if a Cop investigates them, the Vigilante must carefully read player behavior to strike targets who are completely isolated.

🕶🦹‍♂️ Mafia Faction (killer)

  • Doppelgänger: Steals a target's identity to fool Cop investigations.
  • 🧪 Apothecary
  • The Power: Each night, they can inject a player with a toxic serum. The target suffers a Town Disadvantage (Mute, Poor Eyesight, Deaf, or Coma) for the entirety of the next day and night cycle.
  • The Limit: They cannot inflict a "Coma" two nights in a row.

🎙️ Wiretapper

  • The Power: They install a listening device in one player's house each night. If a Friend or Squatter sneaks into that house, the Wiretapper instantly learns their exact role name and identity.
  • The Catch: If they target the Social Exclusioner, the device is kicked out and fails.

🚪 Breacher

  • The Power: Once per game, they can force open any locked or protected door. This action completely bypasses the Locksmith's lock, the Slateskin's armor, and the Social Exclusioner's defense, allowing the Mafia's kill to succeed.

Derek Alive and Well in Chapter 15

I was going around robbing shops during Chapter 15 to gain money to spend at Harry’s before the final fight. I found myself around the Port, and in my 15 years of playing this game I don’t think I ever tried visiting “Derek’s Office” in the Final Chapter as I just assumed you could no longer enter since you kill him in Chapter 14.

Well to my surprise, “Derek’s Office” is still accessible, and to my absolute bewilderment, Mr. Pappalardo is inside alive and well…and no he still has nothing for us, but insists we visit another time.

This is on the Definitive Edition, so it’s likely to be a bug, but I still find it a bit funny!
