Hi everyone, my Thar Roxx 2.0 mStallion manual has done around 4{,}900 km and I’m getting only about 7\text{–}7.8 km/l. I’ve seen other owners report around 8\text{–}9.5 km/l, so I’m wondering if this is normal.
The car is completely stock, including stock wheels and tyres, and I use XP95 fuel. My average speed is around 25\text{–}26 km/h. I drive with a light foot and usually upshift before 2{,}000 RPM, so I’m not driving aggressively.
Most of my usage is city driving with regular traffic and some short trips. I know the Thar is heavy and aerodynamic efficiency is not its strongest point, but the gap compared with other owners still seems a bit high.
Can mileage improve after more kilometres? Should I get tyre pressure, wheel alignment, brake drag, fuel quality, or any sensor/engine issue checked at the service centre?
Other 2.0 mStallion MT owners: what are you getting in similar city traffic, and is that MID mileage or calculated tank-to-tank?

I am planning to buy a Mahindra Thar Roxx, but I am confused between the Petrol and Diesel variants.

My usage is roughly 70% city and 30% highway. Considering this usage, my preference is towards the Petrol, mainly because I am concerned about potential DPF-related issues with the Diesel, especially with frequent city driving.

However, the government's proposed E25/E27/E30 ethanol-blending programme has made me reconsider my decision. I am now wondering whether choosing a Diesel would be a better option for long-term ownership, given the possibility of higher ethanol blending in petrol in the future.

So, I am quite confused at the moment.

What would you guys recommend—Petrol or Diesel?

Hi everyone, I need some suggestions for replacing the stock bulbs on my RWD 3door Mahindra Thar.
The factory lights are honestly quite poor.

Could you please recommend some economical and road legal upgrades that offer better visibility without causing glare for other drivers?

I’m a Thar Owner. I have a RWD hard top 3 door Thar. The ride has become still seems like the suspension system has become fucked up. Is there any owner who has done something to make the ride way better ? Any suspension shock absorber update by any specially in the RWD. If yes, please recommend me the changed that can make my Thar fun to drive again !!
