LEAD GUITARIST WANTED!

We’re a Leeds-based indie/alternative band looking for a new lead guitarist.

We’ve recently released a new EP and have built a really solid foundation online. Right now, our focus is entirely on keeping that momentum going. We’re stepping straight into a writing and recording phase to get new material ready for release and for shows. Logistics-wise, we’ve got it sorted: we have our own dedicated rehearsal space, we demo everything ourselves, and we work closely with great producers to bring the songs to life.

We write music about everyday life and the honest, relatable things people actually experience. We’re ambitious and we take the music seriously, but we also genuinely just want to have fun. Writing and rehearsing shouldn’t feel like a chore; we want someone who wants to have a laugh and enjoy the whole process of building the next phase with us.

For fans of:

Deaf Havana / Twin Atlantic / The Xcerts / The Hunna / The Band CAMINO and loads more!

Who we're looking for:

We want someone who wants to take the reins lead-guitar wise - bringing big melodies, atmosphere, and a great understanding of dynamics. With a bulk of songs already main stays in our live set, we are looking for a songwriter who genuinely loves the creative process and wants to collaborate on new music from scratch, as sticking their own solid take on our existing material.

We need someone who is reliable, committed, and doing it for the right reasons. Gigging experience is definitely a bonus, but it’s absolutely not a dealbreaker if playing live is something you are excited for. Leeds or Yorkshire-based is preferred.

If you're on our wavelength and want to create something exciting, drop us a message. We'll probably chew your ear off and want to know lots about you, like:

A quick video or audio clip of your playing/writing

Your main influences

Any previous projects (don’t worry if you haven't been in a band before)

Please get in touch and I'll get back to you if this sounds like a good fit!

Leeds men in 30s

Update - so seemingly more guys than I thought have been interested in this so I have made a WhatsApp group. Drop me a dm for the link

Hi guys. After lurking in some of these threads for a while it Seems to me there are a lot of men in their 30s out there who seem to have a common issue of not much of a social life outside of family/work.
I know there are a lot of meet-up groups out there, but they aren’t the right fit for me and I suspect this will be the same for others. And I have seen (my wife has joined them) that there are seemingly a lot of groups out there for women only - but other than Andy’s Man Club I can’t seem to find anything similar for men!
So if there are any other guys out there in their 30s in a similar boat who want to meet up for the occassional pint in Leeds, talk shit, forget work, get away from the family in a no pressure environment then feel free to give me a shout! Hopefully we can get a group of us, then that way I’m sure there will always be an option for a pint even if some aren’t available!

Social Events/ Clubs/ General Meet-Ups as a relatively introverted person

Hi Guys!

My name is Lewis- I’m 23 and have relatively recently moved to Leeds for work! I am looking to meet some new people up here as I unfortunately do not yet know anybody up here but would really like to make some new friends!

A bit about me- I enjoy reading, F1 and gaming as well as playing with my cat Pirelli (pictured)! I am relatively introverted although I am always open to trying new things and stepping out of my comfort zone!

If anyone has any ideas or suggestions or just generally wants to chat- please comment/ message me! I would really appreciate it!

Thanks so much for reading- I hope to hear from some of you guys soon (apologies if this type of post seems silly or has been asked before it can be difficult to meet new people in a new place but I really appreciate your help!)
