Instagram Influencer Pleads Not Guilty In Fatal PCH Crash
Summer Wheaton, 35, pleaded not guilty on July 1 to vehicular manslaughter and two DUI-related counts in connection with a fatal Pacific Coast Highway crash. Authorities said the July 4, 2024 crash happened after Wheaton allegedly crossed the median and collided head-on with a Cadillac SUV, killing 44-year-old rideshare driver Martin Okeke. Wheaton is due back in court for a pretrial hearing on August 7, 2026.

Millionaire Sues Decades-Old Dog Hotel Over Noise
Kamran Razavi has reportedly filed a $500,000 lawsuit against the Malibu Dog Hotel, claiming noise from the luxury canine hotel and daycare is disturbing his peace at a newly purchased Malibu property. According to the article, the Malibu Dog Hotel has been operating since 1948 and was originally known as Sandpiper Kennels. Razavi alleges the barking violates Malibu’s noise ordinance and interferes with the use of his property.

Woodland Hills Contractor Killed In Mulholland Porsche Crash
Two men, 45-year-old driver Omri Moalem and 37-year-old passenger Yanir Ruham, died in a high-speed crash on Mulholland Highway in Calabasas on June 20. Moalem was the president of Green Works Construction and Design Inc., a general contracting and design firm based in Woodland Hills. Authorities said the gray Porsche convertible struck a fire hydrant, iron fence, and tree before flipping upside down. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Malibu/Lost Hills Station is investigating the crash.

What is a day in life of wealthy beachside Malibu residents?
My perception is influenced by Charlie Harper of TAAHM, which fascinated me 😂
But offcourse reel and real life are different. Hence wanted to know what's it actually like living there and commuting to LA. Wonder how do these A list actors and Realtors who have primary residence in Malibu colony, live there. it's such a long drive from LA, both for work and leisure.

There have been great waves every day this month at Malibu pier, and the consistent surf has lasted for 24 days. I have never seen a swell last this long. Is this a record?

* We operate out of a refinished attachment of a local church. Space is tight for the team, so we’re looking to maximize the four rooms we have by replacing some larger desks (there’s a standing desk on the list with a steep discount right now). We also added a sump pump - remember the downpour we had over Christmas holidays last year? Our whole food delivery zone was inches deep in water. We hope to minimize soaking holidays by having a sump pump handy for those major storms.
* Just today, we received multiple requests for dry cat food for a total of nine client pets. We’re out of cat dry food (we went months with asks for only wet food) so we added a few affordable cat dry food options ton our pet pantry list.
* Are you a practical gifter? Many of the items are everyday use items for us - think trash bags and notepads and disinfectant for our food delivery equipment. What’s not exciting to the every day shopper is thrilling to us to receive.

I went undercover as a Black Activist in LA County. Malibu was a station. Ask me anything
I became a black male activist to repay a black mentor I had. It was a tough project. I even got savagely jumped and robbed at 3rd Street Promenade but, didn't break character. I was able to help black leaders use nonviolent political tactics to improve the quality of life of blacks in LA, Malibu, etc.

Best luxury rehab in Malibu that has a serious clinical program?
Malibu has no shortage of luxury rehab options but trying to figure out which ones are clinically serious vs just expensive is harder from the outside. Specifically looking for a program with consistent individual therapy, dual diagnosis treatment, a great clinical program. Would love to hear from anyone who's actually been through a Malibu program and can speak to what the clinical side looks like day to day.
