I’m going on a solo trip to LA soon. Looking for beaches that I can visit in Malibu - I won’t be renting a car so are there any beaches with easy uber access? Don’t want to be stranded lol
I’m visiting next month from Alabama. I plan to take one day and go from West Hollywood to Santa Monica and make it my base. I really want to see the views from the overlooks at Point Dume. But is it worth all that trouble or should I stick to Venice and Santa Monica for that day?
Hello all!
I left my camera somewhere between Tony Taverna and Sunlife Organics benches. It was a canon g7x and had valuable photos of my sister and I. I worked so hard to be able to afford it and am very regretful for losing it
Someone may have took it, if you have it please give it back. Ill be in California for another few days.
Last few photos in there would be of me sitting on the couch in Fred Segal Home.
Older adults across Los Angeles County could lose critical services that support their health, independence, and dignity.
The California Department of Aging is proposing changes to the distribution of Older Americans Act funding across the state, including a 17% budget reduction for Los Angeles County. This could reduce essential services for older adults such as home-delivered meals, congregate dining, senior centers, case management, transportation, and caregiver support.
State leaders can still revise the funding formula before it is finalized. Your voice can help protect services, ensure funding reflects Los Angeles County’s needs, and prevent harmful cuts.
Simply submit a public comment to the Department of Aging by 5:00 p.m. on May 12, 2026, via email at: CA2030@aging.ca.gov. You can access a template letter here.
