Any Webtoon artists for hire? Those that can draw

So I'm still in 9th grade and don't really have the money to pay but I was wondering if an artist can help me with my story.

I have a good foundation, and solid story, with just a little more to touch the topic. Also it'll be my first time to post on Webtoon and I'm still inexperienced

Please tell me your expectations if your interested

[Paid] Looking for Mangaka for Multimedia Musical Project

Hi everyone!

I made a Reddit account for the sake of hiring an artist. I’m looking for a versatile mangaka/illustrator for a paid collaboration and strong partnership on a multimedia musical project. The story is original and fully thought out, but I need an artistic partner to bring it to life. The story follows a frog protagonist who must overcome a long journey, collecting the necessary items to defeat a large team of demons. The style I’m looking for is a blend of JJK/Demon Slayer/Pokemon, with bold colors.

\*\*The Project Includes:\*\*
• Illustrated short novel/story.
• Character & concept promotional art.
• Short animation loops for the track visualizers.

\*\*Requirements:\*\*
• A portfolio showing manga panels and dynamic character art.
• Ability to produce digital art (scanned hand drawn art is acceptable).
• Open to scheduled calls/discussion to ensure development occurs smoothly.

\*\*Compensation:\*\*
\*\*• Fully Paid Project:\*\* Budget is secured and paid via milestones.
\*\*• Backend:\*\* Merch and profit-split options are available.

\*Rates and specific scope will be discussed privately with selected candidates. Apply by DM’ing me your portfolio/social media page and usual rates.\*

\*To prove I’m a real person, my IG handle is\* \[\*louieb\\\_productions\*\](https://www.instagram.com/louieb\\\_productions?igsh=MWlleGFrd3FiOXY4bw%3D%3D&utm\\\_source=qr)

Thank you!

I built a manga platform for Indian creators because I couldn't find one that actually worked for us.

Okay so this might be a long post but I want to be honest about what I built and why, rather than just dropping a link.

I've been reading manga for years. At some point I started noticing how many talented Indian artists were putting out incredible work , on Instagram, on Twitter, on Webtoon and kind of disappearing into the noise. Great stories inspired by the Mahabharata, Mumbai street life, Indian horror folklore, small-town slice-of-life stuff that genuinely hits different because it's ours. And there was nowhere built specifically for it.

Webtoon is dominated by Korean and American content. Most Indian creators were just posting for free on social media with no real way to monetise beyond brand deals or Patreon in dollars.

So I spent the last several months building Indian Manga indianmanga.com

https://preview.redd.it/sf8c7ue48fbh1.png?width=2694&format=png&auto=webp&s=cd6f9209f2054a6223496587a7b0658ceca88bfd

What it is:

A platform where Indian creators can publish manga and webtoon-style comics, build a reader base, and actually earn money from their work in rupees, through UPI, without jumping through hoops.

How creators earn:

Readers can subscribe for ₹199/month or ₹999/year which unlocks every premium chapter across the whole platform. That subscription pool gets split among creators every quarter based on how many premium reads they got from paying subscribers. So if your manga is getting read, you're earning - proportional to your actual readership.

On top of that, readers can unlock individual chapters as a one-time purchase. That goes 70% to you directly, immediately. No waiting for quarterly distribution.

https://preview.redd.it/ftq674d98fbh1.png?width=2694&format=png&auto=webp&s=8132d7b79ea039d14a90a6fe32fb4dfc7c84c002

And tips - 100% yours. No cut taken at all.

You keep full ownership of everything you publish. No exclusivity. Post here and on Instagram and on Webtoon simultaneously if you want - we don't care.

https://preview.redd.it/xr7fwcs18fbh1.png?width=2331&format=png&auto=webp&s=373eaa05ad391c7de10b1c32363904ec113f7fd5

What it looks like right now:

Honestly? It's early. The catalogue is small. There are real readers on the platform but it's not thousands yet. I'm not going to pretend otherwise.

But that's also exactly why right now is the best time to join as a creator. The homepage surfaces new and trending manga - when there are fewer series, yours actually gets seen. The readers who are here are genuinely interested in Indian content, not just browsing past it.

For readers:

A bunch of chapters are free - you can read without spending anything. If you want to support creators and unlock everything, ₹199/month is less than a movie ticket. 70% of that goes directly to the creators you're reading. Not to me, not to investors — to the artists.

What I need from this community:

Creators : if you have a manga, a webtoon, even just a concept you've been sitting on, come publish it. It's free to start, takes about 10 minutes to upload your first chapter.

Readers : come read something. Leave a comment. Tell a creator their work is good. That stuff matters more than you think at this stage.

And everyone : tell me what's broken, what's missing, what you'd want to see. I'm one person building this and I genuinely want it to be something the Indian creator community is proud of.

Manga/Webtoon Artist

Hi! So I've been writing for some time now and I have always loved the manga and webtoon genre a lot. Some of my favorite manga have to be monster, berserk, the climber, look back, goodbye Ari and a lot more. I also know that the webtoon genre has a lot of fantasy and power scaling but I don't like that a lot and like to stick to more non-fiction. Anyways, I've been planning for quite some time and I would love to write some one shots, mangas and maybe even small webtoons.

The thing is I'm not really that great at drawing despite my efforts to try and learn, but I really can't carry practicing that along with all the other stuff I have going on. So I'm looking for someone to collaborate with me for a certain period of time to attempt and create some of the ideas I have in mind. I would be open to expanding this into a patreon + subscription model later on or something like that if it gains any amount of traction whatsoever.

I will be writing, planning and even storyboarding if you want (albeit the drawings won't be amazing but to get the general gist of the paneling) and the only thing I need someone is for the art (digital only please) and I guess I'd be a plus if we could meet up in person but I don't really care about that much and we can communicate online. I'll also take care of the promotion for the stuff but like any help is always welcomed!

If anyone is interested please hit me up and we can discuss the ideas I have, planning for them and how we could take this futher!

Looking For Manga Artist

Looking for a Manga/Webtoon Artist (Long-Term Passion Project)

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for a dedicated manga/webtoon artist who’s interested in working on a long-term action/martial arts series with me.

I’ve spent a lot of time planning the world, characters, power system, and overall story, and I’m now looking for an artist to help bring it to life.

I don’t want to reveal too many details publicly because I’d like to keep the concept private until it’s further developed.

The series is inspired by Baki, Solo Leveling, Lookism, Kengan Ashura, Fight Class 3, and a bit of Blue Lock.
It’s a grounded martial arts story with intense fights, psychological moments, a structured progression system, and a world that gradually expands as the story goes on.

While these series are inspirations, the goal is to create something original with its own identity.

I want to be for real: I can’t pay for the artwork right now as I’m still a student.
However, if the series becomes successful and starts generating revenue, I’m happy to agree on a fair revenue split beforehand so we’re both rewarded for the work we put into the project.

I’m looking for someone who:

• Loves drawing action and martial arts.

• Can create dynamic, impactful fight scenes.

• Wants to work on a long-term series.

• Enjoys collaborating and sharing ideas.

• Is reliable and communicates well.

If you’re a interested, feel free to send me a DM with a portfolio or some examples of your work.
I’d love to chat, share more about the project privately, and see if we’d be a good fit.

Thanks for reading!

I am not getting commission requests help!

Hello, I a few weeks ago posted an announcement on a Reddit about being open for custom commissions. I manly draw manga character illustration, with the occasional background if requested. Since then I have not recieved a single request and have no idea what I am doing wrong. I had put my prices on that post so I don’t know if that is the problem.

I have also very recently tried to post a more cheaper alternative which is a YCH commission, which doesn’t give clients too much liberties as my custom commission offer. I worry that this commission will also get ignored and not interacted with as much. Can anyone give me some pointers on how to better advertise myself and finally get my first client, in the case this commission service doesn’t go well either? I really don’t like these blank results I have gotten everytime I announce these open commissions.
