[Paid] 2-weeks of testing: 1 manga artist + 1 manga writer ($100 each)

We're building a manga production tool and need two working creators to work together with us on improving it.

Artist: Draws manga, comics, or webtoon pages regularly. Any tool, any level.

Writer: Writes comic scripts, storyboards, or ネーム. No drawing needed.

What it involves:

- Page/scene produced in our tool at your own pace

- Simple time log as you go

- Ongoing communication with our team throughout the 2 weeks

- 60-min debrief at the end: what worked, what didn't, what's missing.

You keep full rights to everything you make. Fully remote.

Bonus for the selected artist: You'll get the opportunity to have your work published on a Japanese manga publishing platform. Your older work qualifies: You just need at least one completed chapter.

Apply by 15th August: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSe0y0gdRnNyNRLlDZLTsEtv89ha0uhk1Pj-Dukq6t6m-qCCUw/formResponse

My experience with MANGA Plus Creators — extremely disappointed

I wanted to share my experience with MANGA Plus Creators because I'm honestly very disappointed with how this situation was handled. I published my manga Blood Season 2 on August 1st. It initially reached 1st place, and everything seemed completely fine.

Later that night, I received an email saying that my manga was being reviewed for a second time. Eventually, it was made private.

I checked the rules and guidelines on the MANGA Plus Creators website myself, including the rules related to prohibited content and activities, and I couldn't find anything in my manga that I believe violates them. They said that I was spamming my views (or that somebody else was doing it), and that I am manipulating the rating system, even if I was, they didn't say which page specifically.

I then contacted MANGA Plus Creators multiple times because I wanted to understand exactly what the problem was. I wanted to know what rule I had supposedly violated, whether there was a specific page that needed to be changed, and whether there was anything else I could do to fix the situation.

I sent three emails and received absolutely no response. That's the part that really bothers me.

I'm completely fine with a platform having rules and moderating submissions. If I genuinely broke a rule, tell me what I did wrong and I'll fix it. What I don't think is acceptable is having your work made private, receiving no specific explanation, and then being completely ignored when you try to contact the platform.

I also found out that I'm apparently not the only creator from the August submissions who experienced something similar. A creator who placed 3rd messaged me and told me that their manga was also made private and that they experienced the same situation.

I'm not claiming to know exactly what happened behind the scenes, but multiple creators from the same release date experiencing similar issues is concerning.

I've spent around six months working on Blood Season 2. I genuinely wanted to continue publishing my work on MANGA Plus Creators, but after this experience and the complete lack of communication, I've decided I'm done with the platform.

Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend MANGA Plus Creators to other creators.

And I'm posting this because I think creators deserve to know what my experience was like.
