i just reloaded my mangafire ok, they had the manga/manhwa i was readin at the moment but the second it reloaded with that error screen they removed it fuck man, atleast warn us so we can take screen shots or aomething.
This update just screams "vibecoding", this looks like all of those ai websites that are advertised. That being said, one of the worst things this update changed is page turning. There are a bunch of manga sites out there, but the reason why mangadex was my favorite is that changing the page was instant, now it's the same as all the others with the side scroll, and there is no option to turn it off. Honestly, on pc, it gets a bit nauseating on longer reading sessions. Also no volumes and removing the ability to click to turn the page is just a downgrade. This update has only removed the best parts of mangadex.
Guys do you like the new update that mangafire had given to the website? I personally like the UI and the new theme... What about you guys... ?
Revert the ui, when mangafire was on maintence i looked for another site, and coming back they all look similar to this new ui, not to mention i cant even read in volumes anymore, less customization, it just looks so bland now, please revert it
I was reading something, read a few chapters, went to go to the next chapter and all of a sudden that title was no longer found. Things are actively being removed for some reason. This is just more proof that this new update, whatever caused it, is actively attempting to ruin this site.

I am writing to share some feedback regarding the new UI update from early July. While I appreciate the effort to improve the site, the new layout makes navigation much more difficult for me.
The main reason I prefer MangaFire over any other site is your classic UI. It was beautifully organized, and the dedicated 'Read by Volume' feature was the absolute best because it allowed us to see the actual volume cover art. Furthermore, I really miss the cool background image that displayed while a chapter was loading, as well as the classic website icon layout shown while reading a manga chapter (which we could hide). I understand that for some users, having an overlay against the chapter might be frustrating, but I personally loved that UI. Those unique design touches are exactly why I chose to read exclusively on your platform.
I know some readers might actually prefer the new UI, and that’s completely fine! I'm not asking to remove the new design, but rather to have a toggle option so everyone can choose the layout they enjoy the most. Since layout preferences vary among readers, would it be possible to add a toggle switch or a profile setting to let users choose the Legacy UI?

Right now we all know how terrible the new update/version (V3) is and we all prefer the previous old UI (V2) because of its unique simplicity and easy navigation, and features.
What made this site stand out from the others was because of its unique but very simple UI in V2, and everybody loved it because it was very easy navigate (myself included). But with this new UI update that nobody asked for, not only were certain features removed, but it just made the user experience worse. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
I really have no idea what they were thinking about this change that nobody asked for. I really loved using this as my favourite place to read, and I wish I can continue using it as long as they revert back to V2.
Now the only thing we can do is express our dissatisfaction and complain to the devs about the UI change, and demand that they change back to the previous old version (V2). Go and make your own posts about your dissatisfaction, and use the ‘Contact’ (bottom right) on their site to inform them about this issue.
I just opened the website to continue reading manga and check for new chapters. I can't find my continue reading section, I checked everywhere, but I can't find it. Has this happened to anyone else? I prefer the old UI than this ngl.
While reading some manga, I saw a pop-up saying "Reload for new version" or something like that. I clicked it, and it deleted all my bookmarks. When I click on a manga and try to look at the chapters, it just says it doesn't exist.
LIsten manga fire i anit gonna act like i dont your difficulties to upload free manga and act with maturity. What the least you can do is remove those hentai in trending. I dont think you need to add hentai in trending and if someone wants to read hentai let them just search it. Also you can try to make that theme back comeon i dont think that old page was bad in anyway or we had problem. For me i though wanted that volume reading way but that is too much demaning so i just got 2 priotries .
now I don’t really care about the whole ui change. personally I liked the old one but it won’t affect my reading experience so I don’t care.
WHAT WILL AFFECT MY EXPERIENCE IS THE FACT THAT ON MOBILE YOU CANT TAP THR SCREEN TO GO TO THE NEXT CHAPTER. tapping the side of the screen does nothing and to go to the next chapter you need to tap this ridiculously small right arrow that doesn’t even switch sides if got change your reading styles. Since they got rid of volume reading I have to do this for every chapter and it’s incredibly annoying because if I miss the arrow I end up opening the chapter menu and one misclick could ending spoiling me of chapter I haven’t gotten to yet.
But also this next problem might not be a mobile only thing but why does every chapter seem to lag or he really pixilated? I can’t even refresh the screen to fix it I have to go out the app and come back and hope it’s fixed for some reason and that’s just if its pixilated cause sometimes whole pages don’t load
TLDR: fix being able to read easier on mobile and the pixilated chapters. And bring back volume reading

Dear devs of MangaFire,
This site was great to many people, myself included, because of its unique features and very easy navigation, and it is what makes it stand out from other sites.
But when version 3 came, many people, myself included, are extremely dissatisfied and very angry. Because not only did this update change some many things, but it took away what made MangaFire unique and successful. The update removed so many features, made the user experience worse, and most of all a complete UI makeover that everybody did not ask for and does not like.
But version 2 is what people loved, not was it very simple to navigate it has features that gave users a good experience, but it was like that for years now and people prefer the old UI over the new one, myself included.
So far, on the subreddit, people are demanding that MangaFire revert back V2 because of its better user experience, simple UI, and more. Please take the words of those who really desire to have the version reverted back to its prime, otherwise people will not stop until this user experience issue is resolve.
It’s okay to do maintenance updates on the site, but just don’t change the UI to where it worsens, pretty much “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” Please revert back to V2, I would really love to keep using this site as my reading place, if only it is reverted back V2.

So they did a UI and QOL update and immediately i noticed that they removed a few things I liked one being able to tap the screen when your at the end of a chapter and it goes to the next another thing is their severs have crashed twice for me now and it's really annoying I like mangafire but this new update has done more bad than good if anyone from the mangafire team sees this revert it back plz.
After the new update I’ve been getting pop up ads that I never got before. There’s been numerous times I click next chapter or scroll down and im taken to a new tab with a pop up or phishing attempt. Anyone else having this issue? Wtf is happening
