I saw some videos about the PSP performance on the Mangmi Air X and there seems to be a difference in opinion here. Some say a good amount will run at 4x res no problem and others say it will run on 2 x for most no problem while others have mentioned games like Silent Hell that barely runs at 1 x res. So i dont get it.

People call the Mangmi Air X a perfect PSP handheld but the performance seems to be inconsistent.

Can someone please explain it to me so i know whether to open my Mangmi Air X or return it. Because i have it sealed still and if its not gonna run PSP games at least at 3x res then i dont want it.

UPDATE: Ok this is strange, after a full system shut down, I switch it back on 5 minutes later and it's no longer lagging, I don't know what caused it to be like that in the first place?

I just recently updated the OS and I find out that Flatout: Head On for the PSP is running terribly slow on PPSSPP, even on performance mode it is sloooow and staggering along, this never used to be a problem I hope that they resolve this issue.

My thumb has been getting sore from using the analog stick because the texture is pretty rough. Has anyone found a good thumb grip or another solution?

I tried using Nintendo Switch thumb grips, but they were too big. The Air X's analog sticks are so small that I haven't been able to find anything that fits properly.

Any recommendations would be appreciated!

Yo wouldt it be great to have some company create custom colors back and front coverplates for the Mangmi air x?
Or someone with a 3d printing company that can make em and sell them.

Aye! Anyone got an driver for Vita3k emulator that worka great on mangmi air x? Saw a few videos but I cant find a specific driver they are using. I'm on stock OS. Thank you!

Is there a way to change the screen resolution to any via Bash script, like GPU frequency? If so, will the settings be reset after a reboot?

Hi all!

Everytime I do a STOCK firmware update on the MANGMI AIR X, the update installs fine, the device restarts, but then always gets stuck on the MANGMI boot logo. It doesn't continue to the next animated logo. I have let the device sit for more than 30 minutes, no change. I have to do a hard reset, and it often hangs again. Basically, I have to go into recovery, do a factory reset, this often fixes it.

Perhaps related to this, android often freezes, especially shortly after a firmware upgrade. After a few restarts and/or factory resets, this behaviour seems to dissappear, but not completely.

I made sure to check the MQ number of the device and match it with the firmware. I also did a complete reflash of the stock 1.1.6 firmware. Again, after update to the newest 1.1.14, it gets stuck on the boot logo.

Any clue what might be going on here and how to fix it? Or should I just flash GammaOSNext at this point?
