All in, or expansion by expansion?
We're working our way through the game - almost finished up with the base 2e game itself and its DLC. I have the rest of the available expanaions hanging out on the shelf. I know with games like Arkham Horror LCG it's better to go expansion by expansion rather than all at once so you can learn new cards/etc, but does it really matter for Mansions? Does the app remix/pull from the expansions you own and use different monsters/tiles?Part of me wants to keep everything separate as we move forward but that feels like it takes up so much space. If it does remix the scenarios, I feel like there may be no reason to hold out.
Opinions?
Edit: thanks all! Now i have a project this weekend
Does anyone have high-res scans of maps for RN & SM?
Hey guys, I saw this post and now I'm wanting to do something similar: https://www.reddit.com/r/MansionsOfMadness2E/comments/iaxsdq/i_gave_up_trying_to_find_rn_sm_expansions_and/
All the high-res map scans I can find are in A4 size and they look fantastic. My problem is that I live in the US and don't have easy access to A4 paper outside of ordering online. If I try to do borderless printing, I can get it to fit technically, but the quality is really low. If I want to improve the quality, I can't do borderless printing and therefore can't get the image to properly fit. Anyone have any high-res scans for 8.5" x 11" (Letter) size paper? Or a way to convert them from A4 to Letter without messing up the scaling?
Sorting Expansion Cards
If i put all the expansions + basegame in one box, how do i sort the cards? All basic items in one stack, since these can get used in every scenario, right? The special items? Keep them apart because they are only used in specific scenarios from their respective expansion box or can they be used in scenarios from different expansions?
Ty for your help! :)
Played the “Hidden Depths” scenario for the first time!
We played a 4-player game of MoM Hidden Depths scenario! It was the best scenario we’ve played yet! Super fun plot, great pacing, and intense social gaming! The vibe was mansions of madness mixed with Secret Hitler. I am excited to see how it plays out on a replay! Has anyone done this scenario more than once and, if so, did it change who the saboteur was? (Side note, my fiancée did an AMAZING job with the themed snacks, had to post a picture!)
