I am looking to paint one or more of my mantis warrior models in the tranquility pattern, but I can't determine what model (outside of the eliminators) would make sense. What comes to mind is painting some of the marksmen models (models that have bolt rifles/carbines with large optics) as tranquility patterned. Another thought that comes to mind is painting some terminators in the tranquility pattern as ambush attackers.

I know that the tranquility camo pattern is shown as for sniper units in the Mantis Warrior chapter, but the original color scheme shown here has a bolt rifle. Would any marksman unit potentially have this pattern? Do you think it was used more for ambush attacks on Tranquility 2, similar to how they dealt with the Slave lords?

After the death of Yaryan Sartaq the Chapter Master of the Mantis Warriors during Badab War, Ahazra Redth, first archivist of the chapter was nammed Chapter Master, after the war, his body was never found and now a Mantis Warrior close to Huron appears with him in his private circle, in the White Dwarf we are told that Garlon Souleater fled to avoid facing the judgment of the Imperium to join Huron as soon as he could.

I recently snagged some new on sprue assault marines from 2008. I buit and painted them for my growing mantis warriors force. More to come!

Converted this veteran because i got inspired by cyberpunk. Let me know what to do with him, what unit would he fit into?
