[HIRING] Marketing Coordinator / Content Marketing (Remote, $17.50-$20/hr, part-time to full-time)

REMOTE | $17.50-$20/hr | Starts at 20 hrs/week, full-time within 2-4 weeks | 5+ years experience

We're hiring a Marketing Coordinator / Content Marketing professional for a fast-growing creative operations company that supports founder-led brands, communities, and programs.

This is a hands-on role for someone who is trend-savvy, social-native, and able to turn ideas, conversations, podcasts, and founder insights into content that actually lands on Substack, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.

You'll work directly with the Production Lead, Project Manager, video editors, and designers to keep the content pipeline moving from idea to publication.

This is not a social media scheduling role. We need someone who can write, spot trends, read audiences, coordinate creative production, and ship.

THE DETAILS

Pay: $17.50 to $20/hr

Hours: Starts at 20 hrs/week for a 2-week paid trial, then 30 hrs/week, with the path to full-time 40 hrs/week expected within about 2 to 4 weeks

Location: Remote, open to candidates in LATAM, Canada and Europe

Experience: 5+ years

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Create and coordinate content across Substack, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube

- Turn founder conversations, podcasts, meetings, and events into compelling content

- Write newsletters, Substack articles, social posts, captions, scripts, and thought-leadership content

- Repurpose long-form content into platform-specific formats while holding the founder's voice

- Stay deeply tuned into social trends, emerging formats, creators, and platform behavior, then translate the relevant ones into content that feels natural to the brand instead of forced

- Identify strong hooks, formats, angles, and storytelling opportunities per platform

- Build and manage content calendars, briefs, workflows, and publishing schedules

- Coordinate with designers and video editors so content ships on time

- Track performance and use the insights to improve what comes next

- Use AI tools for research, ideation, repurposing, and workflow efficiency while keeping the final output original and human

- Keep content systems and databases organized in Notion

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- Genuinely immersed in the feed. You understand why certain content, creators, hooks, and formats gain traction

- Able to tell which trends are actually relevant to a brand, and adapt them authentically rather than copying what's popular

- An excellent writer with strong editorial judgment

- Comfortable writing in multiple voices and tones, not just your own

- Knows what performs on Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube

- Highly organized, able to run multiple content streams and deadlines at once

- Proactive. Takes ownership without needing constant direction

- Comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment

- Strong communicator, collaborative, handles feedback well

- AI-native and happy to experiment with new tools and workflows

- Discreet with sensitive founder and brand information

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

- 5+ years in content creation, marketing, editorial, or a related field

- Proven track record writing content across multiple platforms

- Strong grasp of social trends, content formats, audience behavior, and platform-native storytelling

- Strong understanding of American business culture and communication

- Experience working remotely and independently in a fast-moving environment

TOOLS

Notion, Figma, Canva, Frame.io, Substack, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and AI-powered content tools

NICE TO HAVE

- Podcast production or content coordination

- Newsletter or Substack management

- Video scripting

- Creator economy and social trend experience

- Startup or venture ecosystem experience

- AI-powered content workflows

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

In the first few weeks: you understand the founder's voice and content strategy, contribute published content, support campaigns, and help set up an organized content workflow.

Over time: you independently run a consistent content cadence, coordinate creative production, spot timely trend opportunities, and move engagement, audience growth, and content performance forward.

HIRING PROCESS

  1. Recruiter screening call. Experience, content background, communication style, fit.

  2. Account Manager async review. Internal review against the client's requirements.

  3. Creative test + English test. Short assessment of writing, content judgment, platform awareness, and voice adaptation.

  4. Client interview #1. 30 minutes with the client's Project Manager.

  5. Client interview #2. Final interview with the client's CEO.

  6. Offer / 2-week paid trial. Starts at 20 hrs/week, moving to 30 and then 40 hrs/week based on performance and client needs.

Client interviews may be recorded for internal review.

TO APPLY

DM me with your resume or profile and a couple of links to content you've written or run.

Know someone who'd be a strong fit? Send their resume or profile my way and I'll review them for the pipeline.

I Tried ChatGPT to Fix My Resume. Here’s Why It Missed the Point.

Comparing https://resume.zoevera.com against https://chatgpt.com

And what a purpose-built ATS checker caught that GPT-4 didn’t.

Let me be upfront: I use ChatGPT for everything. Code reviews, draft emails, explaining stack traces at 2am. It’s genuinely useful. So when I needed to tailor my resume for a senior backend role, my first instinct was to open a chat window.

That was three weeks ago. Here’s what I learned.

What ChatGPT actually does well

Ask ChatGPT to “improve my resume” and it will:

  • Clean up passive voice (“responsible for” → “led”)
  • Suggest stronger action verbs
  • Add structure and formatting consistency
  • Rewrite vague bullets into something that sounds more impressive

For general writing quality, it’s genuinely good. If your resume reads like it was written by someone who hasn’t slept in 48 hours, ChatGPT will fix that.

What ChatGPT fundamentally cannot do

Here’s the problem: ChatGPT doesn’t know what job you’re applying for.

You can paste the job description into the prompt, sure. But there’s no mechanism for it to:

  1. Score your resume against that specific JD — it has no concept of a match percentage
  2. Identify which keywords are present vs. missing — it will suggest improvements but won’t systematically audit keyword coverage
  3. Know how Applicant Tracking Systems parse text — it will rewrite content without knowing whether an ATS will ever see it

ATS filters work on keyword frequency and placement. A resume that reads beautifully to a human can score 40% on an ATS if the right terms aren’t in the right sections. ChatGPT optimizes for human readers. ATS systems are not human readers.

I ran a test. Same resume, same job description (Backend Engineer, Node.js/AWS stack). I gave ChatGPT the full JD and asked it to optimize my resume for ATS.

The output was well-written. It added “microservices” and “REST APIs” in a few places. But it missed:

  • “AWS Lambda” — mentioned 4 times in the JD, absent from my resume after the rewrite
  • “CI/CD pipeline” — appeared in the required skills section, never added
  • The Projects section — ChatGPT rewrote my experience bullets but left the Projects section untouched, which is where most of my relevant backend work lived

When I ran the same resume through resume.zoevera.com, it flagged all three gaps explicitly, with section-level attribution. The ATS match score went from 54% to 81% after applying the suggested changes.

The core difference: diagnostic vs. generative

ChatGPT is a generative tool. It produces new text. It’s very good at that.

An ATS checker is a diagnostic tool first. It measures the gap between your resume and a specific job description, then tells you exactly what’s missing. The rewrite comes second — and it’s grounded in what was actually identified as absent, not what the model thinks sounds better.

This distinction matters because:

ChatGPT hallucinates improvements. It will add metrics you never achieved (“improved system performance by 35%”), use terminology that
sounds right but wasn’t in the JD, and rewrite bullets that didn’t need rewriting while leaving critical gaps untouched. Every line needsfact-checking.

A purpose-built tool works from the actual gap. The keywords it adds are the ones the JD asked for. The sections it flags are the ones the ATS will score. The output is closer to submission-ready.

A practical workflow

These tools aren’t mutually exclusive. The best result I got came from using both in sequence:

  1. ATS checker first: identify the keyword gaps and get a scored rewrite that closes them
  2. ChatGPT second: use it to polish tone, tighten sentences, and clean up anything that sounds mechanical

The ATS checker handles precision. ChatGPT handles prose quality. Neither does both well alone.

The cost argument

ChatGPT Plus is $20/month. If you’re actively job searching, that’s a fixed overhead whether you use it or not.

Most people search for jobs in windows — a few weeks of active applications, then nothing for months. A per-session model makes more
sense: pay when you need it, nothing when you don’t. ZoeVera’s pricing works that way — free analysis, one-time payment for the full
rewrite, no subscription.

For a developer audience specifically: if you’re applying to 10–15 roles over two weeks, you’re not optimizing resumes 365 days a year. The math on a monthly subscription doesn’t work.

What I’d actually recommend

  • If you just need better writing: ChatGPT is fine and you already have it
  • If you’re applying to roles where ATS filtering is real (any company using Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, iCIMS): use a dedicated ATS checker first, then polish with ChatGPT
  • If you’re a developer and haven’t thought about this: your resume probably uses technical jargon that means something to you and nothing to an ATS keyword parser. “Built scalable backend” is not the same as “developed microservices architecture using Node.js and AWS ambda” — even if the underlying work is identical

The ATS doesn’t know what you meant. It only knows what you wrote.

Tested against a real Backend Engineer job description. Tools used: ChatGPT GPT-4o, https://resume.zoevera.com. June 2026.

As a 21f BBA fresher (marketing major what path should I take to make myself wealthy

Hi everyone,

I'm a 21f from India and I've completed my BBA with a specialization in Marketing. My long-term goal is not just to get a job, but to build real wealth over the next 10–15 years. The thing is I didn't think before enrolling myself into BBA about the career opportunities, but now i can't change that and want to move forward by making better choices in my career.

I'm trying to decide which path would give me the best combination of high income, growth opportunities, and the possibility of eventually starting something of my own.

Some options I'm considering are:

Performance marketing / digital marketing

Marketing analytics

Consulting / business analysis

MBA later on (I'm thinking to gain some experience before doing an MBA)

For people who have experience in these fields:

Which path has the highest earning potential?

What skills should I focus on in my early 20s?

If you were starting again at 21 with a BBA Marketing degree, what would you do differently?

I'd especially love advice from people in India or anyone who has gone from a normal job to building significant income.

Thanks!

[Bengaluru, paid] hiring growth people who are extremely online and actually good with people

we’re a fast-growing consumer startup in Bengaluru, and we’re hiring multiple people across growth.

this could be full-time, part-time, or an internship. the role, scope, and pay will depend entirely on what you’re genuinely good at and what you bring to the table.

we’re not looking only for traditional “marketing” profiles.

we’re looking for people who understand internet culture, know what’s trending before it reaches a brand deck, follow creators across every niche, have frighteningly organised Pinterest boards, and can tell when a trend is about to blow up or has already died.

you don’t need to be good at everything. being exceptional at one or two of these is enough:

* influencer or creator marketing
* organic content and brand ideas
* performance marketing
* community building
* partnerships and city growth
* events and on-ground activations
* campus programs or ambassador networks

maybe you’ve worked at a fast-growing startup or consumer brand.

maybe you’ve grown a page, managed creators, built a community, run college clubs, pulled off a fest, brought hundreds of people to an event, or convinced strangers to care about something.

that counts.

this is a hands-on, people-heavy role. you should be comfortable talking to creators, communities, users, venues, partners, and basically anyone who could help make something grow.

Bengaluru-based is strongly preferred.

to apply, dm:

a quick intro

what you’re genuinely great at

something you’ve grown, organised, or launched

any links, screenshots, numbers, or proof

your availability and expected compensation

résumé optional. proof of work is better.

[HIRING] Growth Operator, Organic Distribution & Partnerships | Remote

I'm looking for a very specific type of person to join an early-stage SaaS company.

This is not a traditional marketing job. I'm looking for someone who is basically an indie hacker, but for marketing.

Someone who gets a goal, figures things out themselves, uses AI/automation to move fast, runs experiments, and doesn't need someone telling them what to do every day.

The mission

We're a SaaS product helping e-commerce sellers cross-list products across marketplaces.

We're looking for someone to figure out how to bring us more qualified sellers through organic distribution. Some of the things you'll initially work on:

Communities

  • Find where e-commerce sellers are asking questions and discussing problems
  • Participate genuinely in Reddit, Facebook groups, forums, etc.
  • Find conversations where our product genuinely solves a problem
  • Build relationships with communities and users

SEO & third-party websites

  • Find relevant listicles, comparison articles, directories, blogs and resources
  • Find the people behind them
  • Reach out, pitch, follow up and build relationships
  • Figure out how to get us mentioned in places where our customers are already looking
  • If there are 500 relevant articles out there and we're missing from 450 of them, you'll figure out how to get into them.

Creators

  • Find eBay, Etsy, Depop, reseller and e-commerce creators
  • Build a creator pipeline
  • Reach out and develop relationships
  • Get the product into their hands
  • Turn successful relationships into an acquisition channel

If you discover that newsletters, affiliates, partnerships, niche communities, podcasts, or something completely different works better, go after it.

We care about results, not sticking to a predefined marketing plan.

The type of person I'm looking for

  • A growth person at an early-stage startup
  • An indie hacker who learned distribution
  • Someone who has built their own SaaS or side project
  • An e-commerce operator who taught themselves growth
  • A scrappy growth generalist
  • An SEO/outreach person who likes experimenting
  • Someone who has built an audience or community

Your exact background matters less than what you've actually done.

  • Highly autonomous
  • Extremely resourceful
  • Fast
  • Comfortable with outreach
  • A good internet-native writer
  • Commercially minded
  • Curious
  • Comfortable experimenting
  • Comfortable with AI and automation

If you have to do something 1,000 times manually, you should probably be thinking about how to automate it.

You don't need to be a developer, but being technically curious is a big plus.

E-commerce experience is also a major plus.

What this isn't

  • Need detailed instructions for everything
  • Prefer strategy decks over execution
  • Only know traditional marketing
  • Care more about impressions than customers
  • Don't enjoy outreach
  • Need a large team around you
  • Don't like figuring things out yourself

How we'll measure success

Not by the number of posts you publish or emails you send.

Ultimately: How many qualified users and paying customers can you create?

The application

Please don't send a generic CV/cover letter.

Tell me:

  1. What's something you have independently grown, built, launched or promoted?
  2. What was the goal, what did you actually do, and what happened?
  3. If you joined tomorrow and had to find the next 100 paying customers without paid ads, where would you start?

I'm much more interested in how you think and what you've actually done than your formal marketing credentials.

Anyone here successfully switched from Sales to Marketing? Need some guidance. Hi everyone,

I'm looking for advice from people who have actually made the switch from Sales to Marketing, especially into Digital Marketing.

A bit about me:

  • I'm currently working in a B2B Sales
  • My long-term interest has always been marketing, especially digital marketing, content, social media
  • I have previous internships in digital marketing and 1 yoe in marketing during my college but my current full-time role is sales.

I'm planning to start applying for marketing roles while continuing in my current job, but I'm feeling a bit lost.

I'd love to hear from people who have been in a similar situation:

  • How did you transition from sales to marketing?
  • What skills helped you make the switch?
  • Did you have to take a pay cut?
  • How did you explain the switch in interviews?
  • Did recruiters question why you were leaving sales so soon?
  • What would you do differently if you had to do it again?
  • Any tips for improving my chances of getting shortlisted?

I'd really appreciate hearing your experiences, whether the transition was successful or not.

Thanks in advance!

Databricks has open marketing roles

Databricks has multiple open roles globally across field marketing, paid media, product marketing, web, partner marketing, and video.

My honest take:

Pros:
\- Lots of upside. 3rd most valuable private AI company after OpenAI and Anthropic, $7B revenue growing at over 80% YoY.
\- Compensation is generally top of the market
\- Super smart people and very collaborative. I haven’t run into any “genius assholes” that sometimes exist at tech companies.
\- Hybrid-friendly, many folks work remotely

Cons:
\- Intense work culture. People are driven and work long hours. It’s not mandated but it’s the only way to keep up
\- Lots of change. AI moves so quickly and adapting to the market means that priorities and projects have to shift.
\- Title deflation. A Principal role here is often a Director at a smaller company.

FYI recruiters prefer big tech experience (lots of people from AWS, Microsoft, Salesforce etc)

If you have general questions, comment here so other people can see the answers too. Feel free to DM me your resume if you think you’d be a fit.

[Hiring] Founding Growth Marketer (entry-level, fully remote) | Bootstrapped E-commerce / Etsy SaaS

We build Listadum, an all-in-one toolkit for Etsy sellers. More than 10,000 sellers use it. We're two founders, three years in, fully bootstrapped, no investors, and we still answer all our support emails (read very small team).

We've grown on SEO and word of mouth and barely touched social, video, community, and events. We're hiring our first growth person to help us change that.

This is an entry-level role, and we mean that as the opportunity it is. We stay the face of the company (we record the videos, we host the webinars). You're the person who makes the whole content and community machine actually run, and who grows into owning it.

What you'd be doing:

  • Researching what to make: the topics, trends, and questions our sellers actually care about.
  • Turning what we create into a steady stream of content across our channels (Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, and testing new ones like TikTok and Reddit).
  • Helping us build and run a community for our sellers.
  • Keeping our live events running smoothly while we host.
  • Over time, as you find your feet: newsletter, customer case studies, ad creative, and more.

Who we're after:

  • Early in your career, hungry, and after a real shot at growing into running a big part of a business.
  • You already live on these platforms. We should never have to explain what a Reel or a subreddit is.
  • You've taken at least one thing of your own from zero to finished: a shop, a page, a side project, a community.
  • You get things done without being chased. We're a tiny team and won't micromanage.
  • Bonus: you run or have run an Etsy or online shop yourself.

We care about drive and how fast you learn, not your resume.

The details:

  • Fully remote, open to people anywhere with a few hours of overlap with US Pacific time.
  • Employee or contractor depending on where you're based. We'll figure out the right setup with you.
  • Pay starts around $2,500 to $3,500/month depending on location and experience, and will climb as you take on and own more responsibilities`.

How to apply

No resume, no cover letter. Message us here or email jobs@listadum.com with:

  1. One thing you've built or run yourself, and what happened to it.
  2. Spend 5-10 minutes on listadum.com, then tell us one thing you'd test in our first month, and why.
  3. A link to something you've written or made. A post, a caption, a video, a page. Anything.
  4. Where you're based, your rough availability, and what monthly rate would make this worth your while.

(PS: application without these or fully written by AI will be ignored)
