Does anyone know of any places that teach women’s self defence classes in Markham or surrounding area?

Edit: I’m in a bit a of a slightly abusive situation right now. Not looking to harm or fight back but this has made me aware of protecting myself and without a man, I feel a bit lost. How do I protect myself? Also willing to pay for proper protection

Another edit: yes I’ve reported it but nothing ever gets done. I’m also not mad or upset. I just want to protect myself but also not looking to harm anyone. I just dont want to pass away from this.

I have a standard one garage door with top windows. The garage door is getting very old. Any recommendation for garage door replacement that is affordable in Markham? I’m also interested to do the capping. Any suggestion is welcomed.

Anyone else power is out since afternoon around 1pm in L3R?

I was told it we wouldn’t have power between 10pm to 12am.

Me and my son plan to start playing golf, I have heard from people it’s better to take few lessons.

I recently got into paddleboarding and I’m looking to meet some people who’d like to get out on the water together.

I’m based in the Markham area, but I’m happy to explore lakes around the GTA. There are plenty of places where you can rent a paddleboard if you don’t have one, and if you already own one, we can stay out on the water even longer!

I just got my own board this weekend and would love to have some company. If anyone’s interested in paddling, relaxing on the lake, or even making it a regular summer activity, send me a message! 🏄‍♀️☀️

Does anybody booked their hotel room thru Trivago site before ?
I did a reservation on their on-line site cuz the price for the room was reasonable. After finishing off I realized that it was booked with Algotels (a third party) site and not with Trivago directly.
I check the review on both parties and was horrible.
I called the hotel to confirm my reservation and was told that they do not have my booking.
I thought I trusted Trivago but not !
My payment was thru my credit card and wonder whether it can be reversed.
Does anybody have any suggestions of what I should do as payment is non- refundable!

Just before the intersection across from the plaza (soith west side where the banks are) there's a man running in front of cars right now. Had to slam our brakes and was a while before we could change lanes as he was right up against the front or our car. Not sure what he wanted, was begging and pleading. Called police in case he needs help but he terrified my kid with his behaviour. Be mindful driving there right now.

Hi! Did anyone else in the area experience a quick power outage here in the L3P (markham and 16th area)? We lost power for like a good 5 minutes at around 7:20PM.

I tried to search online but cannot find info.
