Share your best recs for Tony fics!

Preferably something longer, and set during IM1, 2 or 3 as I’d want the fic to be mostly focused on Tony rather than Avengers However if you read something that you think is really good still rec it! I’m not that big fan of most of the other avengers members but if the primary focus of the fic stays on Tony I’d still like to check it out!

Bonus points if Jarvis is actively present in the fic

For pairings it can be GEN or Tony/Pepper ( or possibly Tony/Jarvis ) Not into other Tony pairings

Shield or avengers bashing/critique is okay if done logically

Time-travel fics are a trope I really enjoy 👀

Not into the Irondad trope And last thing I can think off to add is NO first or second person POV 🙏 or OC stories

With Doomsday coming up and all that crap, can anyone rec me stories where Steve BEGS/ASKS FOR FORGIVENESS for abandoning Bucky? (I mean seriously. The very person he defied the world and broke so many laws for only for him to go back in the past to live a life with his situationship—and I get it, it's supposed to mean that he finally gets to choose something for him 🙄— but wasn't his whole arc supposed to be like, getting thrown into a world, decades from his own. Trying/getting to move on?? I mean, what does it mean for Sharon? For Peggy's descendants? ANYHOWS, that's a WHOLE 'nother can of worms.)

But yes. Since he's apparently back (???) Are there stories that's maybe a bridge with him coming back from the past and feeling guilty for just leaving Bucky? It can be angst/comfort or angst/no comfort, idc if it's platonic or romantic. I don't care if the endgame is SamBucky (cause hell, that duo went through and helped each other a lot better after just up and left by Steve). Just somethinggg with a guilt-ridden Steve over Bucky lol.

Any recommendations? I accept anything from one-shot to series. :)

Hey so i've been searching for Spider-man for a while now, and god it is hard, the fandom is completely filled with irondad fics or "Peter parker needs a whump", or that one SA sensibilisation comic that was made for kids being put in every mcu fanfics for some reason, i feel like spiderman has a completely different image for certain persons, and god the amount of mcu content is overwhelming, and i get that mcu peter is young but why is it always "Tony stark is a dad", aunt may is RIGHT THERE, to me spiderman has always been this Hero who despite how bads things are, he WILL stand up through his pain and keep fighting because he know he has to do so, most fanfics just completely ignore this and decide to write a 15 yo peter (Not that i dislike young peter fics) who seemingly became a hero because he thought it was cool or wtv with no drive or Reason to wake up everydays, put on the suit and do what he has to do.

So do yall maybe have fics where—Mcu or not—peter persona as spiderman is more explored and peter doesnt constantly rely on others for everything.

Im fine with "Irondad" but that needs to stay realistic, Tony isnt peter dad and while he cared about peter they were never really that close, so something relatively close to canon, im fine with them being close n all but i dont like it when peter rely on him for everything related to spiderman.

And please, if peter IS depressed, there's gotta be a reason, not just cuz his parents died 6 years ago or cuz he's grieving uncle ben, no matter how much that hurt peter, it was the reason he ever became spiderman in the first place and he learned to accept those facts and push through life cuz he wished to help other and he knew that he still had peoples.

Like we have a lot of plot but I just need fanfic about Loki centric without love or just friendship or meet avengers, thors I would love it. I try to search but notthing do if anyone have fanfic to reccomment please share to me.

I have seen countless self inserts in Marvel and it occurred me I never saw one about Obadiah Stane. It got me wondering how the story would change with a good Obadiah looking out for Tony. He wouldn’t have any super powers, but the trust of Tony Stark and the resources of Stark Industries would be a power unto itself. Add his future knowledge and I am really curious.

I've combed through the tags I thought it had and I just can't find it. I've read it ​ while ago too, so my history is moot at this point and i just need helpp.

I remember the whole premise was that Peter worked at this coffee shop. I distinctly remember the first scene being that Tony sat at a table and was disheveled to the point that Peter did not only not recognize him, but thought Tony was homeless, and gave him a donut(smthn he just does for homeless people in the fic)​.

There's also a scene where Tony is running from paparazzi(??) And uses the coffee shop to hide(??). Oh, and i remember a scene where 2 old lady regulars order cakes. Thats it. The ending is Tony buying the coffeeshop lmao, and Pepper's there too(???) Im sorry im not very good at describing this​

Hello! I've been looking for a steve tony fic. It's a royalty AU where Steve is a King and Tony becomes the teacher of his kids. Afaik, the kids are Harley, Peter, Morgan, and Mary (? I forgot the name of the 4th child). So basically ever since Queen Peggy died, King Steve drifted away from the children. Then Tony took a teaching job at the castle bc none of the tutors ever last long since the kids terrorize the teachers.

I can't remember the author or work title but I've been looking for it for months. If anybody knows what this is, can you pls drop the name/author/link? Thank you!

Im prepared to take a shot at any fic, but would especially like to find fics where for a change Tony stark adopts (?) the Wayne children (Dcu) instead of peter parker being adopted by Bruce Wayne.

I only ask for no Tony/Steve fics as i have developed a severe allergy against Steve Rogers in the past few years.

Okay, so I’m a long-time fanfic reader, but somehow I have NEVER properly gotten into the Marvel fanfic side of things. I’ve been a Marvel fan for years, especially Spider-Man, and I really want to finally dive into the tom holland/peter parker fic universe.

So… where do I even START?

I’m mainly looking for really well-written fics. I care a lot more about the actual writing, characterization and story than I do about a specific ship.

I’ve always wanted to read some of the famous Peter/Tony’s daughter fics, so I’m definitely open to those, but I’d also love Peter/MJ or honestly any Peter romance if the fic is good. OC/Canon is totally fine with me too!

Basically, I’m a SUCKER for a good romance (slow burn, tension, mutual pining, friends-to-lovers, angst, whatever). Give me the good stuff. 

But I’d also love non-romance Peter-centric fics! I’m very interested in stories that actually explore Peter as Spider-Man, his relationships with the Avengers, his life after NWH, friendships, his intelligence, etc. I’m especially interested in fics where Peter actually feels like Peter Parker/Tom Holland’s version of Peter, rather than being completely OOC just to fit a trope.

I’m pretty open-minded, so please recommend your favourites even if they don’t fit every single thing I mentioned. I’d rather have someone tell me “READ THIS” than limit the recommendations too much.

AO3 is preferred, but I’m happy to read on other sites too.

So if you’re a Marvel fanfic veteran, what are the fics you think I absolutely NEED to read? Especially the ones with genuinely great writing that you still remember years later.

Can you guys recommend fics with oc character. I used to love those fics like tony stark is my dad haha

I'm hoping people can recommend some captain americ/steve rogers one.

What if Peter Parker is out taking photos and accidentally catches a vigilante in one of his pictures? (It can be any vigilante you like.) And this vigilante notices and confronts him, demanding he delete the picture. Peter apologizes, explains he caught them in the photo by accident and deletes the picture for them.

Then, maybe he makes a joke about how "of course I get a photo of the wrong vigilante" or "the vigilante I don't need". Which prompts the question "what do you mean wrong vigilante?" Or maybe a more in depth interaction occurs that leads to Peter admiting that he works for the Daily Bugle and takes pictures of Spiderman.

After learning that /this/ is the kid who takes and supplies J.J Jameson photos of Spiderman so he can smear the kind and loveable hero, they get very angry and protective.

Maybe they break the camera all together (seems like a Punisher move) or maybe they force Peter to show them all the photos he has and makes him delete the ones of Spiderman. It could be angry yelling, shouting, demands to know why the boy would supply The Bugle with photos to smear the wall-crawler. Angry ranting about how "the guy may be irritating and talks too much be he's a /good/ hero God Damnit!"

Idk, I just think it'd be a fun read. It could also touch base on how Peter didn't realize how much his fellow vigilantes cared about him or appreciated him.

Regardless, this prompt has been stuck in my head for a while, so I thought I'd get it out here. Feel free to use it or take inspiration from it!

Hi everyone! I’m trying to find a deleted fic and I could really use some help from anyone who knows their way around this stuff.

Unfortunately, I don’t have the work ID, so one of the Reddit groups I tried can’t help me with their usual method. I’ve already searched the Wayback Machine, but I’m honestly not very familiar with how it works. For example, when I look at the dates on the Wayback Machine, I can see the yellow/orange dots, but I can’t open those. I’m probably missing something obvious 😅

Is there anyone who could explain how to properly search for deleted fics through the Wayback Machine, or maybe point me towards another method/archive that could work without the work ID? I have the information about the fic and I’d be happy to provide it if someone is willing to help.

I'm trying to write marvel fan fiction in the hopes I can really write for Marvel one day and I'm trying to learn exactly how characters are supposed to be written.

I find it's easier for me if I read what their character is about first so I can see how it plays out in the runs I read. Does anyone know where I can find a thorough analysis of Janet's character or maybe give me a breakdown of it in the comments?

I'm looking for two different fanfictions i'd read years ago and could never find again.

The first one,

for some reason Tony leaves the avengers and outside world behind and ends up on a island full of people. He stays, eventually becoming their king and making them incredibly advanced. Eventually the avengers find him and he takes them around the Island, and that's all I can remember.

The second one

A Thor Fanfiction.

Loki had met a servant girl and gotten her pregnant, he sends her away to be safe sending her money to provide for his daughter. when Odin goes into the Odinsleep (Or whatever its called) and Loki becomes king the first thing he does is goes to get his daughter. He finds Hela being abused and so takes her back with him. Loki has Eir check her, gets her dressed, and does a bunch of other stuff with her I can't really remember.

But yea I've been looking everywhere for thoes fics, if you know what they are or have them downloaded that would be amazing!!

Recently rewatched Black Widow and man my girl deserved so much better. Can’t believe they killed her off.
