Red skull character concept

This is NOT a discussion on whether he should be added or not it’s just a character concept.

Red skull would be a 5 star strategist with 275 hp

His passive ability would be called “the heart of hydra” allies in a certain range of him get faster attack and reload speeds but if he dies while they are in range they get slower reloads and attack speed for a short time.

His primary fire would be a basic hitscan pistol with a good damage and a fast reload.

His main healing ability would be like medics beam in tf2 he’d hold out the cosmic cube to heal allies and give some extra oversheild. It wouldn’t do much healing on its own but you’d still be able to fire your gun at the same time while you’re healing and whenever you hit someone while you’re healing it would give a big burst of healing per hit. However when you’d heal and shoot at the same time you’d be forced to have reduced movement speed.

His next ability “dust of death” would have him toss out a cigarette like a smoke bomb. Enemies that step through it get blinded and lose some ult charge. When allies step through it,it heals them and clears status effects like bp mark, grounded, exile etc.

His next ability would let him summon 2 ai controlled hydra soldiers with 175 hp. They wouldn’t be able to be healed, enemies can’t get ult charge from them but they still count as players for objective timers like bob from Overwatch.

His final ability would let him stab himself with the super soldier serum that would bring his base hp up to 550 plus 100 oversheild. He’d be locked to melee only for the most part every hit would apply bleed and anti heal but he’d have an ability in this form to fire his gun briefly kind of like McCree’s hammer ability in Overwatch as well. He’d run exactly like captain America too. It’s basically a form change like white fox but to balance it out I would be on a really LONG cooldown about the same time as Adam’s revive.

His ultimate ability “Hail hydra” would be like his ultimate in marvel future fight he’d get up onto a podium with hydra soldiers firing around him while he stands stationary ending with a plane flying overhead to bomb the enemy team. The lane would have its own health so a skilled enemy team could take it down to stop massive damage. The ultimate would be nothing like a normal support ult as it wouldn’t heal. To make up for that his passives range would get greatly increased and it would very slightly heal teammates now. Also keep in mind while red skull is stationary during the ult a player could kill him befure the ult is over. If they kill him all the hydra soldiers go away but the plane still goes.

He’d have a teamup with Bucky,Arnim Zola, hive, baron strucker, baron zemo, viper, and crossbones if some of them got added.

Humbug, Kindred, or both?

Humbug has been teased on the most recent New York map, and I've learned a lot about his character since I found him. He's got ties to Black Cat, Savage Land, The Brood, Heros For Hire, and he was one of Spidey's villains for a bit before he went a little insane.

While not a true monster, he does have ties to monsterous insect creatures which might be amped up if the ever introduce Annihilus as a seasonal villain.

Who *is* more of a monster though would be Kindred, an undead version of Harry Osborne. I'm not the biggest fan of his identity or his role in the narrative, I think Harry has more potential in other areas, but I absolutely love his design and powers as Kindred.

I know bugs aren't for everybody, but I'd love a swarming character added to Rivals. I think if they somehow combine aspects of Kindred into Humbug and screw with the anatomy a bit, he'd be a sick ass character in any role.

Some Villains I’d Like To See In The Future.

Scream- Tank or DPS something in the same vein as Venom or Magik. The hair can be an attack like Venoms primary but with more range. Could also her the web sling ability that also stuns.

MODOK- Pure DPS with some tank elements. MODOK could be a Tank because of his power and size, but I really want to highlight the “Designed Only for Killing”. With lots of lasers and guns being his main attacks.

Whiplash- Keep this guy in our pocket as Anti-Air DPS. Simple as that, the Whilps essentially are the kit. He’d be good at punishing fliers and spacing.

Hydra Bob- Obscure pick but I think he could make for a fun DPS or strategist. Adding members of hydra to the roster is controversial because Nazi’s, but there’s nothing controversial about Hydra Bob. Plus we already have Deadpool so there’s president. We don’t have a traditional bomber yet, like demo or junk rat.

The Lizard. Make him a Healer with Tank characteristics. I’d even be open to giving him some tech, like a gun or something. Also you could incorporate the Hulk/Banner gimmick too. So it’d be Kurt Connors AND The Lizard.

Type Face- A silly one that doesn’t get much love. I think there’s a lot of potential around an alphabet themed kit. Especially for a DPS.

Ultron is designed so terribly and unfaithfully that I can't stand playing him.

Since his addition, I've held the opinion that Ultron is the worst-feeling/designed character in the game, not from a balance perspective, but from a faithfulness perspective. He can fly, has an encephalo-ray, and that's about it. His drones, arguably the biggest part of his comic skillset, show up for 12 seconds in his ult to aura farm and provide fire support and then they're gone. Why aren't they part of his kit? Ultron without his clones is like Cap without his shield or Winter Soldier without his metal arm. Where is the Ultron virus being used to cripple his enemies? Ultron's entire goal is the destruction of all biological life, making him a healer is the worst thing you can do. "BuT tHe LoRe-" if you have to MAKE UP new lore for your character to fit into the role you placed him in, congratulations, you've failed at adapting a character. We're making up lore now? Fine - Punisher is now a Buddhist, having renounced violence entirely. He's a strategist. Captain Amerixa is a cowardly, scheming usurper who hides in the backline and heals people. Loki is noble and upstanding, doling out righteous justice on the frontline as a Vanguard. See how this doesn't work? Someone please give me some kind of justification for him being a strategist, because none that I've seen so far make any sense. "He manipulates people!" Yeah, in like 10% of his comics. The rest are just him killing shit. Why would he ever want to heal his human teammates? He refers to them as "obsolescent fleshbags", for Christ's sake. Would you spend your time trying to teach a roach how to open a door? No, you'd just open the goddamn door yourself. That's how Ultron feels about humans. Why waste time on controlling flawed, emotional creatures when he can do things better on his own? And the worst part is, NOBODY ELSE SEEMS TO CARE! I'M THE ONLY ONE I'VE SEEN ANGRY OR CONFUSED ABOUT THIS! I feel like I'm losing my mind. Please tell me someone else here agrees with me on this...

Next month should be 🔥🔥

Do yall think he will get his MCU skin?? I hope so lmao

I believe it could be legendary... he would def get new VFX where his sentinels turn like the ones in the 2nd pic and his primary might turn in these little beams like the 3rd pic

Wonder what his MVP might be? Possibly like the first pic...

What villains would you like to see in Rivals?

Those are my picks...

  1. Doom should be like Deadpool (all roles)

  2. Thanos should be a Tank with the snap as his ult

  3. Kang should be a support

  4. Nightshade could be like Mr.Fantastic (Dps/Tank)

What are y'alls??

Baron Zemo should become a playable character at some point in the future

Zemo is a major character in the history of Marvel. both Heinrich and Helmut have been major antagonists for Captain America and The Avengers, and Helmut himself formed The Thunderbolts another iconic super team in Marvel. I believe Baron Zemo would make a fantastic addition given his history with numerous characters, his tactile mind in combat, deadly skills with his sword, and the use of Adhesive X could be a reliable escape tool if he were implemented as a strategist in game. To address the rather large elephant in the room concerning his political affiliation and long standing as a leader of Hydra along side Red Skull and Arnim Zola, I'd say it'd be a pretty easy fix. Use Helmut and have him cast off the failings of an old inferior system and organization. Zemo has always been characterized as a narcissist believing himself superior to all in everyway, so why should that suddenly stop at a system or organization that has failed numerous times. In the comics Helmut even goes to the past and confronts Heinrich on the failings of the Nazi party and denounces it completely to Heinrich's face calling him an old fool and vowing to raise the Zemo name to something befitting of it. Of course he still intended on world domination and taking down his enemies Helmut didn't turn good, but it did make him more likeable to the point that Marvel comics had to undo his development because he got so popular. Overall I understand why Zemo probably wouldn't be added at least as a playable character, but he should be acknowledged at least due to his long history in the Marvel universe.
