Bro won 5 rounds in a row and ragequit the nanosecond I started winning a round, I'm dead

Trying to learn Champion against other people so I'm in casual queue. Dude beat my ass 5 rounds in a row, but as soon as I start to win ONE round he loses his shit and ragequits lmfao bitchmade behavior.

Now that the game has been out for a couple of weeks what's your favorite track on the OST?

Mine is Ghost Rider's Theme, Embrace the Flame. Side note right now only the opening theme is on Spotify and I hope they add the rest of the OST.

I love this game

Title says it all. I know this game has alot of problems and the community is 100% valid in voicing what this game does wrong but I dont want to forget to voice what it does right. This game has this magic that modern fighters havent been able to have on me. For reference the last fighting game I was able to play every day possible and still have this much fun was MKX. Almost always i enjoy a fighter for a time and then it slowly fades into obscurity that i launch every few days to weeks but somehow tokons grip on me is unreal. Every character feels so unique and forces me to think about what im doing and who im against. Combos feel just as cool as they look to pull off. Some people have said they think this game is too slow but i find it to be in a happy sweet spot where my more casual friends can jump in and understand whats happening but a more competitive game can have incredibly fast back and forth. This could truly be a legendary game if Arcsys fixes PC asap and makes super minor balance changes.

No clue how the pros make it look so easy, took me a bit to get this down. Open to tips on how to optimize it even more

Combo meter still had space for more hits, am thinking I could probably do 5m 214m and then super or maybe throw a 623H in too before the super? any thoughts?

Normalize using attack names instead of button names

I've seen a mix of move and combo listings that use the default DualSense controller mappings for the buttons to press. As someone who has multiple different button layouts depending on controller, I'd much rather see everyone use the attack names (L, M, H, U, QS, Assist, Tag, etc) instead of the default controller mappings. It's a minor gripe, I know, but it's a huge QOL improvement.

Can someone explain the actual rules for building high-damage combos in Tōkon?

I'm struggling to understand the rules behind combo building in Tōkon, rather than just copying someone else's combo from YouTube.

For example, I'm doing a level up mission where the objective is basically "do whatever you want, just deal 70,000+ damage." I want to be able to build my own combo that's appropriate for my execution level, but I don't understand what determines whether a route will actually work.

So far, the only things I think I've figured out are:

Starting with Heavy seems better for damage/scaling than starting with Medium or Light.

Lights seem to fill the Combo Limit gauge very quickly, so I should avoid them where possible.

EX moves are apparently really useful? I can't exactly see how. They stop the meter from getting filled apparently.

But if I use the same EX move again in the same combo, it seems to immediately kill the combo.

What are the other rules I'm missing?

How should I approach making a 70k+ combo? What makes the Combo Limit gauge suddenly shoot up? Which moves should I prioritise or avoid? Are there rules around repeating normals/specials, launchers, assists, wall bounces, ground bounces, EX moves, etc.?

I'm not really looking for "here's Doom's 70k combo: H > X > Y > Z." I'm trying to understand the underlying system well enough that I can create my own simpler high-damage combos instead of memorising someone else's optimal route.

Basically: what are the rules/logic for building a long, high-damage combo without accidentally maxing the Combo Limit and killing it?

Thanks all

18 Games

It took me 18 games to get my first win.

I am brand new to fighting games, and fighting for my LIFE. Fighting games have always looked so fun and I've always wanted to get into them so I'm putting in the effort finally but man it sucks. Working a full day job, getting off and doing fighting game homework for 2 hours to get my ass beat, then time to do life duties like house chores.

I'm only playing Ghost Rider right now, I'm about 9 hours in, started last thursday, done a bit of training, but mostly relying on auto combos.

My number one issues it getting trapped in the corner. I block and block and block and block high and low, and then finally the opponents attack chain ends and they use an assist then keep attacking so I have to keep blocking and then after what feels like forever they're finally out of assists and it's my turn to hit them and-- my light attack whiffs, it doesn't reach them, and then the enemy hits me for only the second time this game and they kill me. I've tried switching to mediums but they're too slow and I get countered.

I'm Bronze 1 with -1 Elo lol. You're telling me this is the WORST a player can get and they're 2 comboing me? I'm getting corner to corner combod in literally every game. I think enemies are "Perfect" rounding me on like a 30% basis.

I WILL persevere but DAMN it's no fun right now. At least it looks cool when the enemy makes a snow angel with my body in the pavement.

MARVEL Tokon: Fighting Souls - Comparison Video Original (Steam) Vs. Unofficial Version

Steam vs Other version performance comparison . this is so ridiculous, the dev better address this issue asap, turns out you can actually run this game on potato PC if not for forced DRM bullshit implemented by the dev
