I was wondering if 72°c at the top of the head ( reading with laser termometer) was an ok temp? After running a small mower for an hour in 25°C weather

The temp gage is in the "cold" zone, should it not be around 80°C?

For info i think it has its termostat and is not stuck open as i dont see water moving in the radiator and its around 40°C.

Otherwise runs great, no smoke, sips fuel, starts very easily even in cold weather.

Hey all!! First time posting here!
Looking to get my first Massey. My dad always had a 245 and a 165 ( both diesel) growing up.

I see this 165 that looks to be in a good shape but it’s a gas. I’ve heard some people say not to get the gas and to stay with the diesel engines. You guys probably know a lot more than me so what’s your opinion? Should I go check this out or wait till I see a diesel one?

Edit!! I’m in Nova Scotia Canada so it’s Canadian dollers
