Hi, there was a shooting at the area of Lidl near the beach today.

Does anyone know something about it?

My two fellows were there, they have a light wounds, as they said, someone was in the building in front of the just built hotel, and used amateur arms with steel beads or idk how to call it.

Hi everyone, I just moved here from the US and am stuck in a frustrating bureaucratic loop. I have a critical tax appointment next Tuesday and my AIMA appointment next week.

I went to the Junta de Freguesia de Matosinhos (located at Rua Augusto Gomes 313), but they strictly refused to issue my Atestado de Residência because my NIF currently lists my US address. They told me that having two local voters physically accompany me to the desk is the only path forward.

What makes this a highly stressful update is that our relocation team informed us that the Finanças office has unexpectedly started requesting this specific Junta form 'here and there' to open freelance activities. I brought all my legal paperwork (signed lease, receipts, bills), but the Junta won't budge without physical witnesses.

Since I just got here, I don’t know anyone in the parish yet. If any kind locals or registered voters in the Matosinhos parish have some time to spare tomorrow (Friday) or Monday to accompany me to the desk at Rua Augusto Gomes 313 for a few minutes, it would mean the world to me. I'm happy to work around your schedule and will gladly buy you espresso and pastries to say thank you!
