Grilled-style McNuggets around 2003-2006

I cannot find any record of them online but I distinctly remember sitting in McDonald’s and eating Happy Meals with this version of McNuggets with curry or sweet and sour sauces. They kind of looked like Chic Fil A’s grilled nuggets (which I have never eaten) and I remember feeling smug ordering them cos they were “healthier” and I even remember a pic of a girl eating them in the advertising.

Yet nobody I know remembers them. There’s no documentation or photos online. I feel like they were made post turkey twizzler gate.

This was in north west England around 2003-2006, definitely before I started high school in 06.

Does ANYONE know what I’m talking about

Burger buns

What happened to the burger buns they just break apart and have a horrible taste that over takes the meat McDonalds has been getting worse but now even a double cheese burger isn't even worth it. Honestly the worst fast food now.

McWaankers

Fed up of cold shit food from the ones around Barnsley. And things missing when you have it delivered. If you order for 4 and the big tasty burger does not turn up, ruins the moment. I’m done with them, drive that bit further for a BK 👑 🖕🏼

The permanant menu is so limited

Does anyone else feel like mcdonalds uk main menu is really limited we barely have any mcflurry flavours or variety in burgers, low veg options, not much intresting chicken stuff, not that many dips or desserts etc and a poor mccafe imo. Other countries have much wider and bigger variety and options it seems and im pretty sure we cant ask for certain modifications either.

Almost all the new items are just limited time special edition stuff and when its a nice item it just goes away after. our actual main menu is very limited and small and items being discontinued like the chicken legend or the muffins doesnt help the case at all it only reduces the already weak menu

Anyone else feel like they're putting too much ketchup in the burgers lately?

I noticed one place did it, and then later another place started doing it too! Just WAYYY too much ketchup! Makes a huuuge mess...

It's nice ketchup, but there's just too much!

Am I visiting the only 2 maccies that have this issue, or is it more widespread?

Matchmaker Mint McFlurry

Does anyone remember the Matchmaker Mint McFlurry? It was the best one they’ve done in my opinion (next to Raspberry Flake). I so wish they would bring it back

Secret Menu - Trayliners

Popped to the McDonald's on Blackpool's South Shore near Waterloo Road and came away with an interesting trayliner.

It gave an "hack" of sorts to create an off menu sort of item. A Crunchy McDouble.

Question: How many trayliners are there in this series and is there an official pdf with them all?

App Orders being cancelled 2 hours after collection

I have recently had my last 5 McD App orders cancelled two hours after ordering and more importantly after I have collected them.

I have tried to speak with them about this but they are flummoxed. No one else I know has had this and it only seems to be me, but this has been happening for 3 months now and I wondered if this had happened to anyone else.

Happy Meal Crocs

I’d love to see what you’ve been doing with your Crocs (display, keyring etc). So far I have the blue ones and the yellow with the Happy Meal box design.

What do i do next?

I applied for a crew member role at Mcdonald’s and was pretty much given the job with no interview and no in depth application to fill out.The only thing that I did was Olivia Ai personality test and then they sent me my contract. That happened more than a week ago and I haven’t heard anything back about onboarding forms or a welcome meeting. They reposted the job within these days that I was waiting to hear something back but apparently this branch is always hiring so that might just be normal. I really need this job so what do i do to make sure I get this job and to make sure I haven’t been ghosted even though I have already signed a contract?

Interview for work experience

I applied for work experience at my local McDonald's and I have now been offered interview times by the AI chat bot is this normal for work experience as when I searched online it says there is no interview required. So is there any point in attending the interview.

Are the brownies good?

I am looking for proper, classic brownies. Thought about McDonald's as they are American. Are they good though?

Edit: just had one. They are good! Simple and rich. I wouldn't say they are overpriced if you look at what other cafés, bakeries, and restaurants are offering.
