How was everyone's day?

Hope everyone had fun! I bought some blind boxes I am already regretting lol.

I enjoyed the Clone Wars panel too! Although someone dressed as Darth Vader stood there and decided not to turn off the sound of Vader breathing lol.

Kudos for commitment to the cosplay, but my god man, mute it during a stage shows 🙏

Tigatron cosplay

A dream many years in the making: my Tigatron cosplay is complete!

I'm so pleased with the final result, and very proud of myself. I adore Beast Wars and this is my way of celebrating it and the impact it's had on my life over the last 30 years (urrrrk!).

See you at MCM London this Saturday. Come say hi if you're there! I've organised a Transformers fan meet at 2pm :)

Do we report tranvestites in the female loos at MCM?

Now the new laws are in place, do we need to report transvestites to security if we see them in the female toilets?

I'll be cosplaying Hermione from Harry Potter, say hello if you see me around

Solo at MCM Saturday, first timer, where do the fantasy/SFF book people hang out?

Going to MCM London solo on Saturday. It’s my first time, and I’m mainly going for Brandon Sanderson / Dragonsteel and the fantasy book side of the con.

I’ve got a few things planned, but I’m trying to work out where the fantasy/SFF book crowd usually ends up during the day. Is there a natural area people hang around, or is it mostly booth/signing-based?

Planning to check out Dragonsteel, The Broken Binding, Forbidden Planet and the author areas. Would be great to know if there’s a good spot to meet/chat with other book people, especially since I probably won’t be around post-con.

Free Sunday Tickets

Hey everyone!

I have 2x general entry tickets for Sunday 24th if anyone is interested.

Unfortunately, I‘m unable to attend myself due to family commitments, so thought to check if anyone would like to attend so the tickets don’t go to waste.

Lmk if you are and I can send screenshot of the QR code to access the tickets on the day.

Guys I messed up

We were halfway through our first train when I realised me and my fiancée had both assumed the other person had our passes... When actually they were left at home.

We never normally forget them and now I'm panicking. We live in Yorkshire and she's in a wheelchair so we can't go back for them. Is there any way to still attend the con?

How strict are they on height restrictions for props?

I’ve built a staff for my Jack Frost cosplay and it’s 187cm. It’s made out of paper mache and I’m worried about cutting off the bottom bc it’s a little fragile. Should I do it? What happens if my staff is too big? Will they mind 7cm?
Help!!

I’m going to be going to my first ever comic con and I’ve been making vlogs on the side but not at big events are there any thing I need to be wary of as I do want to interact with the amazing cosplays and artist at comic con 🤗

Costume doesn't really fit and I'm stressed

Hey

So i brought a pre-made saber costume and I'm a AMAB so it was already a worry that it wouldn't fit, the annoying part is it almost does but my back is totally exposed.

The annoying part is this was my first con going as a woman, which is my gender identity and I'm now having second thoughts and because of my AuDHD it feels completely overwhelming, I wanted to know if there is a crew at comicon that could help with the size issue or help get me into costume.

I have a group of friends but they are all male and haven't really touched anything like this so this is my best shot.

First time, just one question

So, im going to comic on saturday, and i was wondering that if i brought something (a comic omnibus, its not a huge thick one) to comic con, i could get humberto ramos, to sign it. or would it be a bit much?

Feels too expensive now for the casual attendee.

Anyone else feel like this?

I am not into meeting guests, buying merch, dressing up etc.

I just have a general love of sci-fi / fantasy & love some of the shows.

I like to wander around, soak up the atmosphere & attend some of the free panels.

Just seems like a lot of money for someone like me.

F25 going alone to MCM , anyone would like to hangout?

I originally planned to meetup a online friend and go together but due to circumstances they couldn’t make it anymore. Is anyone perhaps in a similar situation attending solo and looking to meet and hangout (18+)? I plan to cosplay as a character from the Fate series (I have a bit too many Fate cosplays @v@) if it’s in time and otherwise I’m going as my OC and planning to go the Saturday. If so do share your Discord if you have one and I’d love to get in contact🫶 I’m coming from the Netherlands
