Where did the 'rotate lock' function go?

To to have been replaced by 'rotate in place', which do you think was better?

My favorite hides so far. This game brings me so much joy lol

I am particularly proud of the bodybuilder camouflage. If anyone has played that map, it's a HUGE collage of pixel art, and we only had 60 seconds to hide. I was painting like a madman lol.

I LOVE THE MECCHA CHAMELEON META!!!

New hiders and seekers of this game have the same mindset; hiders will try to blend in with the environment, and seekers will look for people trying to blend in with the environment.

Since not everyone's an artist, hiders get immediately found out, and eventually figure out that hiding in plain sight isn't the best. And so hiders begin adapting by finding the darkest corners and crevices and paint themselves black and start winning. However, seekers too adapt, eventually they will know every nook and cranny in the game and find hiders who live in the dark.

Now it comes full circle, since seekers are now so tunnel visioned into looking into cracks, they forget they were ever looking at an ass

I can't stand it

I just spent an hour dealing with these types of people and I'm about to lose it, I was so frustrated that I had to make a meme out of it

3D Color Picker Stops Working Properly?

Is anyone else getting this issue? I'll be using the 3D color picker, select a color that I've already painted on my body by selecting it from on my body, and it's the totally wrong shade? And sometimes the inverse happens where the colors I am picking from the environment look one way, but then half way through the round the color picker wigs-out and the colors are the wrong shade when using the selection tool?

It really sucks when you're bouncing between multiple colors to refine your hiding spot, and suddenly you end up with the wrong shade of the color without realizing it and you break your own illusion.

Are the dev's aware of this? I haven't seen this issue discussed at all and I'm not sure if it's my PC or an issue that other people are having as well. The colors I've painted on my body should always be consistent when I use the color picker, they should not change shade mid-round.

Rate my spot

This was my first time ever playing this game, quite proud of how I hid here. I was never found.

Meccha Chameleon inspired me to make my own game

Hey everyone!

I'm a big fan of Meccha Chameleon, and it inspired me to make a small mobile game called Pic-Asso.

The idea is pretty simple:

  • One player hides by blending a silhouette into a real photo using sampled colors.
  • Other players join and try to find it before they run out of time and guesses.

It's basically a hide-and-seek game built around the same camouflage concept that made Meccha Chameleon so much fun.

It's finally available on Google Play:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.polyhistor.picasso

I'd love to hear what other Meccha Chameleon fans think. 🙂

Also, I have a bunch of promo codes, so if you'd like to try it without buying it, just leave a comment and I'll DM you one until I run out.
