Bulok mech eng sa ph

Never ako magpapauto sa job market ng mech eng ngayon sa pinas. Board passer tapos 20k suweldo ampota tapos ambagal pa ng progress at babawiin nalang daw sa ot? OT's should be out of the equation pag discussion ay suweldo.

My other friends na wala namang board exams ang first suweldo nila is 30k+, then tayo na ang hirap hirap ng pinagaralan -- even some who spent years finishing their degree -- ang makukuha lang natin 20k?

Anong ginagawa ng organization natin about that? Mahiya naman sila? Im not going to settle for this.

Laptop Recommendation for future work

Hello, Engineers. Pwede mo pa makahingi ng recommendation sa laptop na pwede magamit for work (much better if yung kaya nya maghandle easily sa projects ng Revit/Solidworks/CAD sa industry). Matanong ko na rin po if anong gamit nyong laptop personally and kumusta naman po siya sa line of work nyo. Malapit na po grumaduate and ngayon po kasi plano na namin bumili ng laptop, much better if pang work na rin po yung mabili ko. Im currently eyeing on Lenovo legion 5, tho im still unsure if magtatagal po ba sya? thank you so much po.

Gifts for an incoming student in mechanical engineering

Hi guys, my boyfriend just enrolled and I'm thinking of giving him a gift cause he just started college so he's probably under a lot of pressure, I don't know what to give to him that's practical in his course, I searched for gifts for engineering students, would an A3 light pad work? or a tool set? Or do you guys have any other suggestions? Thank you.

To All Mele Passers, what's your Go to AI?

Title says it all, i am currently reviewing and sometimes may mga topics na mahirap maintindahan. Ask ki lang po if ano yung AI na ginagamit ninyo that provides the best answers na actually correct. I think some AI lime chatgpt provides wrong answers to engineering queries.

I am not gonna make an AI solve the problem itself. Im just using it to assist me in understanding engineering principles, topics, etc.

To those who passed, which AI do you use often whenever you are reviewing

Try again this Feb 2027

I'm planning to try again this Feb 2027 pero mag work ako habang nag re-review. AERC ako before, any suggestions po kung ano yung pwede na RC sa mga may work. AERC is good lalo nasa solving talagang nahasa ako. Pero ang weakest point ko po ay terms, na overwhelmed po ako sa dami.

Any thoughts sa ES, Prime, and REO?

Small companies

Engineers thoughts on small companies na nagpopost lang thru fb hiring, sila ba yung mga nanglolowball sa paghire? Fresh grad, not yet license ako kaya medyo hirap makapasok sa mga hiring ng JobStreet at indeed kaya napapaisip lang how this small companies manage on new engineers sa industry?

Passed the MELE but haven’t taken my oath yet — Can I use “Engr.” on my resume?

I recently passed the August 2026 Mechanical Engineer Licensure Examination, but I haven’t taken my oath yet and haven’t completed my initial PRC registration, so I don’t have a PRC license number/ID yet.

I’m currently preparing my resums for job applications. Is it okay to put “Engr. on my résumé at this stage, or should I wait until after oathtaking and initial registration?
